An antimicrobial peptide gene from Amaranthus hypochondriacus, Ah-AMP , was amplified by PCR and cloned. Sequence analysis results revealed that this gene is 2.1 bp in length encoding a precursor polypeptide of 87 ammo acid residues. Ah-AMP gene was inserted in the binary vector pBin43. to construct a plant expression vector pBinAH916. Leave explants of Nicotiana tabacum var. SRI were transformed with Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA4404 harboring the above expression vector. Results from PCR, Southern and Northern blot analyses confirmed that the Ah-AMP gene had been integrated into the tobacco genome and was transcribed at mR-NA level. Two bacterial-resistant transgenic plants were selected by inoculating the plants with Pseudomonas solanacearum and statistic analysis of two T1 lines showed that the resistance increased by 2. 2. and 1. 62.grade and the disease index decreased by 49. 6% and 3.. 3. respectively when compared with the non-transformed control plants SRI. Background:Information on the association between physical activity(PA)and the risk of chronic kidney disease(CKD)is *** aimed to explore the associations of total,domain-specific,and intensity-specific PA with CKD and its subtypes in ***:The study included 475,3.6 adults from the china Kadoorie Biobank aged 3.-79 years during 2.04-2.08 at *** interviewer-administered questionnaire was used to collect the information about PA,which was quantified as metabolic equivalent of task hours per day(MET-h/day)and categorized into 4 groups based on *** regression was used to analyze the association between PA and CKD ***:During a median follow-up of 12.1 years,5415 incident CKD cases were documented,including 1159 incident diabetic kidney disease(DKD)cases and 3.2.incident hypertensive nephropathy(HTN)*** PA was inversely associated with CKD risk,with an adjusted hazard ratio(HR,95%confidence interval(95%CI))of 0.83.0.75-0.92.for incident CKD in the highest quartile of total PA as compared with participants in the lowest *** results were observed for risk of DKD and HTN,and the corresponding HRs(95%CIs)were 0.75(0.58-0.97)for DKD risk and 0.56(0.3.-0.85)for HTN *** nonoccupational PA,low-intensity PA,and moderate-to-vigorous-intensity PA were significantly associated with a decreased risk of CKD,with HRs(95%CIs)of 0.80(0.73.0.88),0.85(0.77-0.94),and 0.85(0.76-0.95)in the highest quartile,***:PA,including nonoccupational PA,low-intensity PA,and moderate-to-vigorous-intensity PA,was inversely associated with the risk of CKD,including DKD,HTN,and other CKD,and such associations were dose dependent.

The implementation method of the IEEE 802.11 Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol is mainly based on DSP (Digital Signal Processor)/ ARM (Advanced Reduced instruction set computer Machine) processor or DSP/ARM IP (Intellectual Property) core. This paper presents a method based on Nios II soft-core processor embedded in Altera’s Cyclone FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and MicroC/OS-II RTOS (Real-Time Operation System). The benefits and drawbacks of above methods are compared, and then the method presented in this paper is described. The hardware and software partitioning are discussed; the hardware architecture is also illustrated and the MAC software programming is described in detail. The presented method has some advantages, such as low cost, easy-implementation and very suitable for the implementation of IEEE 802.11 MAC in research stage.

The microstructures of Cr modified Al3.i containing Al2.i and L10-AlTi precipitates have been investigated in terms of transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Fine precipitation of Al2.i (Ga2.f type structure) and Ll0-AlTi(Cr) occurs in Ll2.Al3.i(Cr) by aging around 973.. The aging behavior was investigated by microhardness measurements. TEM observations reveal that plate-like Al2.i precipitates lie on{100} planes of the Ll2.Al3.i(Cr) matrix with the c axis of the tetragonal phase perpendicular to the thin plate. As contrast with Al2.i precipitates, Ll0-AlTi(Cr) precipitates form thin plate and lie on {100} planes of Ll2.Al3.i(Cr) matrix at the initial aging time and for long time aging the habit plane of the thin plate deviates from {100} plane and finally forms a kinked plate. The coherency stresses across the precipitate/matrix interface are considered to be the main factors controlling the precipitate morphology.

The numerical solution of functional differential equations with a proportional delay is considered. The stability of general linear methods for linear systems of neutral type is investigated. It is shown that a general linear method with strict stability at infinity can preserve the asymptotic stability of the underlying system if we employ an appropriate equi-stage interpolation to approximate the delay argument.

The robust D-stability of a class of multilinear interval polynomials is considered. Some sufficient conditions are given to judge the robust D-stability of the uncertain systems. In short, an uncertain system is robustly D-stable if some linear matrix inequalities are solvable. Moreover, our results are applied to the robust stabilization of multilinear interval plants. Taking advantage of the uncertainty structure information, these results are computationally tractable and effective in practice.
