Using Jacobi elliptic function linear superposition approach for the(1+1)-dimensional Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon-Sawada-Kotera(CDGSK)equation and the(2.1)-dimensional Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov(NNV)equation,many new periodic travelling wave solutions with different periods and velocities are obtained based on the knownperiodic *** procedure is crucially dependent on a sequence of cyclic identities involving Jacobi ellipticfunctions sn(ξ,m),cn(ξ,m),and dn(ξ,m).

In this paper, firstly, the proper function space is chosen, and the proper expression of the operators is introduced such that the complex large-scale atmospheric motion equations can be described by a simple and abstract equation, by which the definition of the weak solution of the atmospheric equations is made. Secondly, the existence of the weak solution for the atmospheric equations and the steady state equations is proved by using the Galerkin method. The existence of the non-empty global attractors for the atmospheric equations in the sense of the Chepyzhov-Vishik’s definition is obtained by constructing a trajectory attractor set of the atmospheric motion equations. The result obtained here is the foundation for studying the topological structure and the dynamical behavior of the atmosphere attractors. Moreover, the methods used here are also valid for studying the other atmospheric motion models.

The quasi-one-dimensional nonlinear monoatomic lattice is analyzed. The kink-soliton and antikink-soliton are presented. When the interaction of the lattice is strong in the x-direction and weak in the y-direction, the two-dimensional (2.) lattice changes to a quasi-one-dimensional lattice. Taking nearest-neighbor interaction into account, the vibration equation can be transformed into the KPI, KPII and MKP equation. Considering the cubic nonlinear potential of the vibration in the lattice, the kink-soliton solution is presented. Considering the quartic nonlinear potential and the cubic interaction potential, the kink-soliton and antikink-soliton solutions are presented.

An effective relativistic continuum massive Proca Lagrangian action is used to account for the Lorentzvector condensation effects on the equation of state of the strongly interacting fermions *** interior quantumfluctuation effects are incorporated as an external field approximation indirectly through a fictive generalized ThomsonProblem counterterm *** general analytical formulas for the d-dimensional thermodynamics are given nearthe unitary limit region,In the non-relativistic limit for d=3,the universal dimensionless coefficientε=4/9 andenergy gap △/ε_f=5/18 are reasonably consistent with the existing theoretical and experimental *** the unitarylimit for d=2.and T=0,the universal coefficient can even approach the extreme occasion ξ=0 corresponding to theinfinite effective fermion mass m~*=∞,which can be mapped to the strongly coupled two-dimensional electrons and isquite similar to the three-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensation of ideal boson ***,for d=1,the universalcoefficient ξ is negative,implying the non-existence of phase transition from superfluidity to normal *** solutionsmanifest the quantum Ising universal class characteristic of the strongly coupled unitary fermions gas.

The asymptotic behavior of solutions of a model for competition between two microorganisms in the chemostat is studied. The model incorporates time delays that allow for cellular components of each competing species to be structured to include unassimilated or stored nutrient and allow uptake functions to be nonmonotone. By introducing two auxiliary functions and using fluctuation lemma, it is shown that at most one competitor survives, and the substrate and the surviving competitor (if one exists), approach limiting values. Our results indicate this kind of time delays do not influence the competitive outcome except for a critical case. The main results of S. F. Ellermeyer[1] are improved on and extended.

Given the hyperbolic measure dxdy/y2.on the upper half plane H, the rational actions of PSL2.R) on H induces a continuous unitary representation α of this group on the Hilbert space L2.H, dxdy/y2.. Supposing that A = {Mf : f ∈ L∞(H, dxdy/y2.}, we show that the crossed product R(A,α) is of type I. In fact, the crossed product R(A,α) is *-isomorphic to the von Neumann algebra B(L2.P,ν))■LK, where LK is the abelian group von Neumann algebra generated by the left regular representation of K.
