Geochemistry of Trace and Rare Earth Elements in Red Soils from the Dongting Lake Area and Its Environmental Significance

Trace element(TE) and rare earth element(REE) contents in red soils from the Dongting Lake area of china were determined to understanding the provenance and weathering characteristics of the red *** results showed similar REE distribution patterns among red soils from the Dongting Lake area,Xiashu loess from Zhenjiang,loess and Pliocene red soil from the Loess *** patterns implied a similar provenance from dust-storms,except for red soil R5 which formed by bedrock weathering and had significant light REE(LREE) enrichment and heavy REE(HREE) depletion due to longer weathering periods and higher intensity of *** element,especially the Rb/Sr and Li/Ba ratios,and REE,especially the LREE/HREE ratio and δEu could trace weathering *** Rb/Sr,Li/Ba,and LREE/HREE ratios and negative Eu anomalies were present in the red soils from the Dongting Lake *** weathering intensity was in the decreasing order of R5 in the Dongting Lake area > red soils from the Dongting Lake area(including reticulate red soil,weak reticulate red soil,and homogeneous red soil formed by dust storms) > Xiashu loess from Zhenjiang > loess-paleosol and Pliocene red soil from the Loess *** in the TE and REE contents of soil could be effectively used to study the provenance and the weathering intensity.

Outlier detection has very important applied value in data mining literature. Different outlier detection algorithms based on distinct theories have different definitions and mining processes. The three-dimensional space graph for constructing applied algorithms and an improved GridOf algorithm were proposed in terms of analyzing the existing outlier detection algorithms from criterion and theory. Based on the propagation theory of partially coherent light in the space-frequency domain, the anomalous spectral behavior and spectral switches in the far field of partially coherent and polychromatic light diffracted at an aperture are studied. It is shown that, as compared with spatially fully coherent and polychromatic light whose spectral anomalies are induced only by aperture diffraction, the spectral anomalies and spectral switches of partially coherent and polychromatic light depend on the aperture diffraction, spatial correlationβ and bandwidth of the original spectrum. Detailed numerical calculations are made to illustrate the behavior of spectral switches of partially coherent and polychromatic light, and the results for spatially fully coherent and polychromatic light are treated as a special case ofβ=1 and included in our theory.

In this paper, an unconstrained optimization method using the nonmonotone second order Goldstein's line search is proposed. By using the negative curvature information from the Hessian,the sequence generated is shown to converge to a stationary point with the second order optimality conditions. Numerical tests on a set of standard test problems confirm the efficiency of our new method.

Heart valve diseases threaten human health. One reliable way to save lives of such patients is to replace the pathologically changed heart valves by artificial ones. Over 2.million patients have received LTI-carbon heart valve’s implantation. However, the thrombosis after the implantation is one of the difficulties that need to be solved. In order to improve the blood compatibility and security of mechanical heart valves, ion beam technology was used to modify the surface properties of the materials. The investigation results have been summarized in this paper.

The La2.CO3)3 addition makes the grain of AZ91 alloy be refined obviously. The average primary dendrite size of the alloy decreases from 150 to 50 μm. The microstructure of typical dendrite turns into the equal-axed grain with the addition of 2.5 wt.% La2.CO3)3 refiner. The mechanical properties tests indicate that the tensile strength and especially elongation of the alloys are improved with the addition of La2.CO3)3 and their maximum enhancing rates based on the La2.CO3)3-free AZ91 alloy are 2.% and 5.2.times at 2.5 wt.% La2.CO3)3 refiner respectively.

GEOLOGICAL scientists have paid much attention to the suture zones formed by collision between the Sino-Korean and Yangtze blocks because of the discovery of the ultrahigh pressue metamorphic (UHPM) rocksfrom northern Jiangsu Province (Su), southern Shandong Province (Lu) and the Dabie *** the age of 2.0-2.0 Ma is probably the best estimation for UHPM metamorphism in the DabieMountains, the primary intrusive and metamorphic ages of the complex from northern Jiangsu Provincehave not been determined before. Using the Sm-Nd isotopic dating method, our study is aimed at datingthe UHPM metanorphic event of northern Jiangsu Province and researching a probable relation between theUHPM rocks from the Dabie Mountains and the UHPM rocks from northern Jiangsu Province.

针对严重线性失真的水声信道,在分析正交小波包变换理论和判决反馈盲均衡算法的基础上,利用正交小波包变换良好的去相关性特性,对判决反馈盲均衡算法的前馈滤波器权向量进行修正,提出了基于正交小波包变换的判决反馈盲均衡算法(WPT-DFE)。与基于正交小波变换的判决反馈盲均衡算法(WT-DFE)和常规判决反馈盲均衡算法(CMA-DFE)相比,该算法具有收敛速度快、跟踪性能好、稳态误差小的特点。水声信道的仿真结果,验证了算法的有效性。
