Kinematic calibration method with high measurement efficiency and robust identification for hybrid machine tools

Geometric error is the main factor affecting the machining accuracy of hybrid machine *** calibration is an effective way to improve the geometric accuracy of hybrid machine *** necessity to measure both position and orientation at each pose,as well as the instability of identification in case of incomplete measurements,severely affects the application of traditional calibration *** this study,a kinematic calibration method with high measurement efficiency and robust identification is proposed to improve the kinematic accuracy of a five-axis hybrid machine ***,the configuration is introduced,and an error model is ***,by investigating the mechanism error characteristics,a measurement scheme that only requires tool centre point position error measurement and one alignment operation is ***,by analysing the effects of unmeasured degrees of freedom(DOFs)on other DOFs,an improved nonlinear least squares method based on virtual measurement values is proposed to achieve stable parameter identification in case of incomplete measurement,without introducing additional ***,the proposed calibration method is verified through simulations and *** proposed method can efficiently accomplish the kinematic calibration of the hybrid machine *** accuracy of the hybrid machine tool is significantly improved after calibration,satisfying actual aerospace machining requirements.

For underwater robots in the process of performing target detection tasks,the color distortion and the uneven quality of underwater images lead to great difficulties in the feature extraction process of the model,which is prone to issues like error detection,omission detection,and poor ***,this paper proposed the CER-YOLOv7(CBAM-EIOU-RepVGG-YOLOv7)underwater target detection *** improve the algorithm’s capability to retain valid features from both spatial and channel perspectives during the feature extraction phase,we have added a Convolutional Block Attention Module(CBAM)to the backbone *** Reparameterization Visual Geometry Group(RepVGG)module is inserted into the backbone to improve the training and inference *** Efficient Intersection over Union(EIoU)loss is also used as the localization loss function,which reduces the error detection rate and missed detection rate of the *** experimental results of the CER-YOLOv7 algorithm on the UPRC(Underwater Robot Prototype Competition)dataset show that the mAP(mean Average Precision)score of the algorithm is 86.1%,which is a 2.2.improvement compared to the *** feasibility and validity of the CER-YOLOv7 are proved through ablation and comparison experiments,and it is more suitable for underwater target detection.

Numerical investigation of the photo-thermal characteristics of a direct absorption solar collector using Monte Carlo and finite volume methods

In this study, a novel model of photothermal conversion in a direct absorption solar collector based on the Monte Carlo and finite volume methods was built and validated and the temperatures of the novel and traditional solar collectors were compared. The sensitivity of the parameters to the radiative heat loss was investigated. Finally, the radiative heat transfer characteristics were discussed using the radiative exchange factor. The results of this study validated the advantages of the novel solar collector at both the surface and fluid temperatures. Under the conditions used in this study, the maximum temperature difference of the novel solar collector was 30 K, compared with 193 K for the traditional solar collector. Furthermore, the collector was divided into several units along the flow direction. The radiative exchange factor indicated that with an increase in the attenuation coefficient, the percentage of radiation intensity in the total solar radiation absorbed by the corresponding unit ***, it decreased with an increase in the incident angle and scattering albedo. These results provide a reference for addressing the low efficiency and thermal damage caused by traditional solar collectors at high temperatures.

Numerical analysis of the effects of subgrade settlement on top-down cracking in epoxy asphalt pavement

Epoxy asphalt pavement cracking caused by subgrade settlement is detrimental to the long-term safe service of roads. A threedimensional finite element model of epoxy asphalt pavement is established to investigate the effects of subgrade settlement on the propagation of top-down cracking(TDC). The contour integral method is utilized to calculate the stress intensity factor(SIF)at the crack tip, and then the extended finite element method(XFEM) is used to analyze the propagation behavior of TDC under combined subgrade settlement and traffic loading. The results of these analyses indicate that increased subgrade settlement,stiffer surface layers, and softer bases will increase the SIF, resulting in a faster crack propagation rate. It is suggested that the use of epoxy asphalt materials in pavement structures can allow more subgrade settlement than conventional asphalt ***, when the base layer modulus is higher than 12.00 MPa, the increase in surface modulus can decrease crack propagation length. Sensitivity analysis results demonstrate that subgrade settlement has the most significant impact on TDC propagation. The conclusions of this study are expected to provide a theoretical basis for crack prevention in the design and maintenance of pavement structures.

Effect of BaO and MgO on structure and properties of aluminate slag with various CaO/Al_(2.0_(3)ratios

To provide theoretical guidance for performance stability control of low-reactive mold fluxes,the effects of BaO and MgO on the structure and properties of aluminate slag with various CaO/Al_(2.0_(3)(C/A)ratios were investigated using the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,Raman spectroscope,hemispherical melting point instrument,rotational viscometer and X-ray *** results indicated that with BaO and MgO addition,the structure polymerization was first weakened and then enhanced at C/A of 1.1,and the transition contents corresponded to 8 wt.%BaO and 2.wt.%MgO,respectively,while the structure polymerization decreased continuously at C/A of *** the viscosity change was well consistent with the structure evolution,the polymerization degree played a more prominent role in the slag viscosity than superheat degree when the melting temperature difference was within 40℃.The break temperature decreased initially and then increased with augment of BaO and MgO at C/A of 1.1,while it manifested a decrease trend with BaO addition,and it decreased obviously but then turned to increase with MgO increment at C/A of *** crystallization phase and crystallization ratio kept stable with BaO increment,while the crystallization ratio rose greatly with MgO promoting LiAlO_(2.precipitation at C/A of *** crystal types of all experimental slags were mainly Ca_(12.Al_(14)O_(33)and CaF_(2.at C/A of 1.3,and the precipitation of crystalline phase BaAl2.4 demonstrated a rising trend,while that of Ca_(12.Al_(14)O_(33)gradually declined with BaO augment.
