Objective:Despite the decrease in the number of foreign visitors and residents in Japan due to the coronavirus disease 2.19,a resurgence is remarkable from ***,Japan's medical support system for foreign patients,especially residents,is inadequate,with language barriers potentially causing health *** interpretation and translation services are challenging,but“plain Japanese”may be a viable alternative for foreign patients with basic Japanese language *** study explores the application and obstacles of plain Japanese in the medical ***:A literature review was performed across these databases:Web of Science,PubMed,Google Scholar,Scopus,CINAHL Plus,Springer Link and Ichushi-Web(Japanese medical literature).The search covered themes related to healthcare,care for foreign patients,and scholarly articles,and was conducted in July ***:The study incorporated five *** paper emphasized the language barriers foreign residents in Japan face when accessing healthcare,highlighting the critical role and necessity of plain Japanese in medical *** of the reports focused on the challenges of delivering medical care to foreign patients and the training of healthcare professionals in using plain Japanese for ***:The knowledge and application of plain Japanese among healthcare professionals are inadequate,and literature also remains *** the increasing number of foreign residents in Japan,the establishment of a healthcare system that effectively uses plain Japanese is ***,plain Japanese may not be the optimal linguistic assistance in certain situations,thus it is imperative to encourage more research and reports on healthcare services using plain Japanese.

The effects of different curing systems on the properties of high volume fine mineral powder RPC （reactive powder concrete） and the appearances of hydrates were studied. The experimental results show that dry-heating curing promotes the development of pozzolanic reactivity of fine mineral powder; due to low cement content, 0.2. water-bind ratio and high reactive fine mineral powder content, the strength of RPC increases by around 2.0% after steam curing and subsequent dry-heating curing. Scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum diagram showed that： after the high volume fine mineral powder RPC with 0.16 water-bind ratio underwent steam curing and dry-heating curing, there was no significant change in the appearance of hydrates; after the RPC with 0.2. water-bind ratio, the cement content of 150 kg/m3 and more steel slag powder underwent dry-heating curing, there was a certain change in the appearance of C-S-H, the structure of gel was more compact and was uniformly distributed, and the Ca/Si of C-S-H gel decreased from 1.41 to around 1.2..

The NSFC Major Research Plan aims to conduct researches at the international research frontiers on modeling of strong earthquake ground motions and strong wind or typhoon fields, and investigating the damage and failure evolution process of the major engineering structures under dynamic actions, focusing on the following two key scientific problems: (1) characteristics and laws of strong earthquake ground motions and strong wind or typhoon fields, and (2. process and mechanism of dynamic disaster evolution of the major engineering structures. For these goals, the research work is targeted at (1) modeling and predicting of strong earthquake ground motion and strong wind or typhoon fields, (2. identifying critical parameters influencing the dynamic disaster evolution of the major engineering structures, (3) analyzing the whole dynamic disaster evolution process of the major engineering structures, and (4) integration and verification of simulation systems for dynamic disaster evolution of the major engineering structures.

Technologies of underground mobile positioning were proposed based on LiDAR data and coded sequence pattern landmarks for mine shafts and tunnels environment to meet the needs of fast and accurate positioning and navigation of equipments in the mine underground without satellite navigation signals. A coded sequence pattern was employed for automatic matching of 3D scans. The methods of SIFT feature, Otsu segmentation and fast hough transformation were described for the identification, positioning and interpretation of the coded sequence patterns, respectively. The POSIT model was presented for speeding up computation of the translation and rotation parameters of LiDAR point data, so as to achieve automatic 3D mapping of mine shafts and tunnels. The moving positioning experiment was applied to evaluating the accuracy of proposed pose estimation method from LiDAR scans and coded sequence pattern landmarks acquired in an indoor environment. The performance was evaluated using ground truth data of the indoor setting so as to measure derivations with six degrees of freedom.

The nonparametric kernel estimation of probability density function (PDF) pro-vides a uniform and accurate estimate of flood frequency-magnitude ***, the kernel estimate has the disadvantage that the smoothing factor h is estimate empirically and is not locally adjusted, thus possibly resulting in deteri oration of density estimate when PDF is not smooth and is heavy-tailed. The influences of concentration and modulus of sodium silicate solution and curing mode on the phase composition, microstructure and strength development in the geopolymers prepared using Class F fly ash were investigated. X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared spec-troscopy （FTIR） and MAS NMR were utilized. Results show that the compressive strength increases as sodium silicate solution modulus increases, but when modulus exceeds 1.4, the compressive strength decreases, and it decreases markedly while the modulus is greater than 2.0. The compressive strength was improved by the increase of sodium silicate solution concentration. When the concentration is 32., the compressive strength reaches the maximum, then it reduces as concentration increasing. Elevated temperature can increase the strength of samples that synthesized from sodium silicate solution with 32. concentration and modulus 1.2. Compared to the strength of the sample cured at 50 ℃, the strength of the samples cured at 65 ℃ and 80 ℃ are higher at 1 d and 3 d, but the same at 7 d. At high temperature, prolonged curing time will decrease the strength. Long precuring at room temperature before application of heat is beneficial for strength development, and there is about 50% increase in strength of the samples cured at 1 d precuring and 2.d elevated temperature as compared to the strengths of the samples cured for 3 d at elevated temperatures or cured for 2. d at room temperature. The main product of reaction in the geopolymeric material is amorphous alkali aluminosilicate gel.

A set of governing equations for turbulent flows in vegetated area were derived with the assumption that vegetation is of straight and rigid cylinder. The effect of vegetation on flow motion was represented by additional inertial and drag forces. The new model was validated by available experimental data for open channel flows passing through vegetated areas with different vegetation size, density and distribution. Numerical results are in good agreement with the experimental data. Finally, the flow around a supposed isolated vegetated pile was simulated and the effects of vegetation density on the wake flow were discussed. It is found that the presence of vegetation, even at a very low density, has the pronounced influence on the dissipation of flow energy, both inside the vegetation domain and outside it in the wake flow region.

The first-passage problem of dynamical power system of a single-machine-infinite-bus (SMIB) system under random perturbations is ***,the stochastic averaging method for quasi non-integrable generalized Hamiltonian systems is applied to reduce the equations of the SMIB system under random perturbations to a set of averaged It ***,the backward Kolmogorov equation governing the conditional reliability function and the Pontryagin equation governing the conditional mean of first passage time are established and solved numerically,***,the proposed method is verified by using the Monte Carlo simulation of the original system.
