The investigated area in this paper is located on the northern mountain in Guangzhou *** is characterized by high relief and *** and pan Images of SPOT5 were used as the remote sensing data source,and high-pass filtering(HPF),Brovery transform(BT),intensity-hue-saturation(IHS),principal component analysis(PCA) and the modified IHS(MIHS) methods were adopted for image ***,a comparison has been made between the entire fused images and the original multispectral *** evaluation and objective evaluation(entropy,average gradient,correlation coefficient,distribution of gray) have been adopted to assess the quality of the fused *** regional geological survey has been taken to find the interpretation *** show that the MIHS is the best image fusion method for geological hazards interpretation,and the fused image can provide abundant textural and spectral information for easy interpretation of such geological hazards as collapse,landslip,and debris flow.

Although a land-cover database is very important to national land use including urban planning and land-use management, it is very laborious and time-consuming to build through digitization of paper land-use maps (1:10000) and data input by hand. Here we propose a new, high-level, automatic technique to build a land-use database, which has proved useful and practical in building a land-use database of Baotou City.

The nucleolar structures could be observed in primary chicken embryo cells at 12. 2., 36, 40 and 60 hr after infection with DPV. By means of electron microscopic autoradiography and Bernhard staining method, it could not only demonstrate the existence of mucleoli in infected cells morphologically and functionally, but also further indicate that the incorporation of ~3H-Uridine still progressed very rapidly while the viral DNA was intensely replicating, the majority of nucleocapsids were assembled and the maturation of viruses began to appear in the infected cells. In the cells at 2. hr after infection with DPV, the average number of silver grains per unit area on the nucleolar surface was still 82.7% corresponding to that seen in controls. All these phenomena suggest that in DPV-infected cells, the nucleolar structure still exists and its function of RNA transcription keeps going on. These phenomena are different from the previous reports on other species of herpcsviruses, and will be discussed in this

A family of merit functions are proposed, which are the generalization of several existing merit functions. A number of favorable properties of the proposed merit functions are established. By using these properties, a merit function method for solving nonlinear complementarity problem is investigated, and the global convergence of the proposed algorithm is proved under some standard assumptions. Some preliminary numerical results are given.

Undoped LaAlO3 and 1 at.%Ce:LaAlO3 single crystals were grown by the Czochralski *** and fluorescence spectra were measured at room *** energy levels structure of Ce:LaAlO3 was *** this paper,two viewpoints were *** first one is:the energy levels structure of Ce:LaAlO3 is very similar to that of Ce:Lu2.SiO4)O which is a well-known *** the energy levels structure of Ce:LaAlO3 and Ce:Lu2.SiO4)O,the lowest 5d energy level of Ce 3+ is located below the bottom of the conduction band of host crystal and the other higher 5d energy levels of Ce 3+ are located above the bottom of the conduction band of host *** second one is:Ce:LaAlO3 single crystal may not be suitable for scintillation application;by comparing the energy levels structures of Ce:LaAlO3 and Ce:Lu2.SiO4)O,the large energy difference(1.13 eV)between the two lowest 5d energy levels of Ce 3+ in LaAlO3 is a crucial factor that causes the luminescence quenching.
