Pollen indication to source plants in the eastern desert of china

In order to investigate the indication of major pollen types to source plants, 39 surface pollen samples are collected from 39 plant communities. The results show that diversity of pollen assemblages presents in different commu-nities. Chenopodiaceae pollen percentages are highest in Kalidium communities and Ceratoides communities (higher than 45%, average is 63.4%), but high Ephedra pollen per-centages (higher than 3.3%, average is 16.5%)in Ceratoides communities make it distinguished from Kalidium communi-ties. Artemisia pollen percentages (more than 50%) are much higher than Chenopodiaceae (less than 35%) in Artemisia Communities. Nitraria pollen percentages (higher than 2., average is 13.6%) are highest in Nitraria communities com-pared with those in other community patterns. Tamariceae pollen percentages (higher than 2., average is 8.6%) are highest both in Tetraena and Reaumuria communities com-pared with those in other community patterns. But in Reau-muria communities, Artemisia pollen percentages are higher than Chenopodiaceae with some other pollen types such as Gramineae, Compositae, Leguminosae; on the contrary, in Tetraena communities, Artemisia pollen percentages are less than Chenopodiaceae with few other pollen types. Calli-gonum pollen only appears in Calligonum communities (higher than 2.,average is 5%). The results of cluster analysis (CLA) and detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) show that the pollen indication to source plants can be reflected by association indices (A), over-representation in-dices (O), under-representation indices (U), R-value, the av-erage pollen percentages where parent plants are absent (Xa) and the average pollen percentages where parent plants are present (Xp). Zygophyllum, Calligonum, Tetraena, Tribulus and Tamariceae can indicate source plants very well, owing to high A scores. Artemisia, Chenopodiaceae and Gramineae have high R-values, and Nitraria, Cruciferae and sedum have high O scores, so they are over-represente

Quantum secret sharing between multiparty and multiparty with four states

A protocol of quantum secret sharing between multiparty and multiparty with four states was presented. It was shown that this protocol can nullify the Trojan horse attack with a multi-photon signal, the fake-signal attack with Einstein-Podolsky- Rosen pairs, the attack with single photons, and the attack with invisible photons. In addition, the upper bounds of the average success probabilities were given for dishonest agent eavesdropping encryption using the fake-signal attack with any two-particle entangled states.

A quantum secret sharing scheme between an m-party group and an n-party group is proposed using three conjugate bases.A sequence of single photons,each of which is prepared in one of the six states,is used directly to encode classical information in the quantum secret sharing *** this scheme,each of all m members in group 1 chooses randomly his/her own secret key individually and independently,and directly encodes his/her respective secret information on the states of single photons via unitary operations,then the last one sends 1/n of the resulting qubits to each member of group *** measuring their respective qubits,all members in group 2.share the secret information shared by all members in group *** renders impossible a Trojan horse attack with a multi-photon signal,a fake-signal attack with EPR pairs,an attack with single photons,and an attack with invisible *** give the upper bounds on the average success probabilities for dishonest agent eavesdropping encryption using the fake-signal attack with any two-particle entangled states.

Influence of MnO_2.on the photocatalytic activity of P-2. TiO_2.in the degradation of methyl orange

Influences of α-MnO2. β-MnO2. and δ-MnO2.on the photocatalytic activity of Degussa P-2. TiO2.have been investigated through the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange. The TiO2.photocatalyst, before and after being contaminated by MnO2. was characterized by UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS), photoluminescence (PL), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results showed that photocatalytic activity of TiO2.could be inhibited significantly or completely deactivated due to the presence of even a small amount of MnO2.particles. It was found that the poisoning effect varied with the crystal phases of MnO2.and the effect was in the order δ-MnO2.>α-MnO2.>β-MnO2. The poisoning effect was attributed to the formation of heterojunctions between MnO2.and TiO2.particles. The heterojunctions changed the chemical state of Ti4+ and O2.sites in the crystalline phase of TiO2. MnO2.in contact with TiO2.particles also broadens the band-gap of TiO2. which decreases UV absorption of TiO2. It can also create some deep impurity energy levels serving as photoelec-tron-photohole recombination center, which accelerates the electron-hole recombination.

The thermal decomposition reaction of Eu-2.p-MBA)(6)(PHEN)(2. (p-MBA=CH3C6H4COO, methylbenzoate; PHEN=C12.8N2. 1,10-phenanthroline) was studied in a static atmosphere using TG-DTG method. The thermal decomposition process of the complex was determined and its kinetics was investigated. Kinetic parameters were obtained from the analysis of TG-DTG curves by means of the Achar method and the Madhusudanan-Krishnan-Ninan (MKN) method. The most probable mechanism functions of the thermal decomposition reaction for the first stage are: f(alpha) =(1-alpha)(2., g(alpha) = (1-alpha)(-1)-1. The activation energy for the first stage is 2.5.18 kJ/mol, the entropy of activation DeltaS is 2.7.32.J/mol and the Gibbs free energy of activation DeltaG is 12..04 W/mol.

The phylogeny of Ptychostomum was first undertaken based on analysis of the internal transcribed spacer(ITS)region of the nuclear ribosomal(nr)DNA and by combining data from nrDNA ITS and chloroplast DNA rps4 *** parsimony,maximum likelihood,and Bayesian analyses all support the conclusion that the reinstated genus Ptychostomum is not *** funkii(Schw(a|¨)gr.)*** (≡Bryum funkii Schw(a|¨)gr.)is placed within a clade containing the type species of Bryum,*** Hedw. The remaining members of Ptychostomum investigated in the present study constitute another well-supported clade. Analysis on Temporal and Spatial Changes and Driving Forces of Poverty-Stricken Areas in hebei Province

This paper takes poverty-stricken county as the basic unit, and selects net income per peasant to study the poverty status in hebei Province during *** and spatial changes of poverty-stricken areas are analyzed. The result shows that poverty-stricken areas in hebei Province distributed concentratedly and the areas decreased during 1986-2.00, the net income per peasant was on the rise with an increasing speed in off-poverty counties being slightly higher than that in poverty-stricken counties, but the growth rate was extremely unstable, rising slowly in off-poverty counties while dropping in poverty-stricken counties. The main driving forces that influenced temporal and spatial changes were economic development of the whole province, ecological {2. quality, infrastructure conditions and radiation of the key city. On this basis, some anti-poverty countermeasures suitable to local conditions are proposed. © 2.05 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

This paper presents the pollen assemblages from 108 surface sediment samples from 4 lakes(the Lake Daihai,Lake Hongjiannao,Lake Hulunnao and Lake Duikounao) in the monsoon fringe area of *** herb pollen taxa Artemisia,Chenopodiaceae,Poaceae and Compositae are the major components of pollen assemblages of the 4 lakes and Pinus,Betula,Quercus,Ulmus,Populus,Ostryopsis and Elaeagnaceae are frequently presented,which reflect regional and local vegetation *** mean similarity coefficients for samples from the Lake Daihai,Lake Hongjiannao,Lake Hulunnao and Lake Duikounao are 0.66 ± 0.17,0.71 ± 0.11,0.73 ± 0.12.and 0.67 ± 0.12.respectively,so pollen assemblages are relatively consistent in each lake,which shows that focusing and mixing effects have occurred before and after pollen ***,pollen assemblages do differ between sampling sites in each *** largest difference is seen in the Lake Daihai,followed by the Lake Duikounao,Lake Hulunnao and Lake Hongjiannao(The mean Euclidean distance is 2..09 ± 11.11,11.2. ± 3.64,10.67 ± 4.03 and 8.44 ± 4.51 respectively).These differences are possibly caused by the differences of focusing and mixing effects,pollen source areas,drainage areas and regional vegetation *** Lake Daihai and Lake Hongjiannao have water deeper than 5 m and strong re-suspension,focusing and mixing effects occur in the lakeshore and shallow water areas,where pollen concentrations are lower than in deeper lake *** the Lake Hulunnao and Lake Duikounao,with depths less than 5 m,re-suspension and mixing effects are obvious across the whole lake area,so pollen assemblages and pollen concentra-tions are more consistent among sampling sites in each *** between the lake samples and samples from the inflowing river reveals that wind is primary pollen transportation force in the Lake Hongjiannao,where the consistency of pollen assemblage is conspicuous,while there is greater variation in lakes where pollen input is
