古海洋环境是全球变化研究中的一个重要组成部分。作为表层古海洋环境信息主要载体的浮游有孔虫分布范围广泛,在海洋沉积物中大量保存,在该研究领域中具有不可替代的作用,是重建古环境的基础。对现代浮游有孔虫的生态特征进行研究,是正确理解浮游有孔虫群落及其壳体地球化学指标所蕴涵古海洋环境信息的前提。本文综述了国内外浮游有孔虫生态研究的一些主要方法及其进展,重点阐述了不同海域不同海洋环境条件下一些主要浮游有孔虫属种的区域分布、深度分布、季节性变化及其壳体同位素组成等特征。最后展望了我国南海现代浮游有孔虫生态的研究前景。

It is well known that marine sponges harbor large numbers of bacteria,some of which have been proved to be *** diversity of bacteria in marine sponges distributed along the coast of South china sea has been previously studied but that of bacteria in sponges inhabiting the open sea has been rarely *** this report,the diversity of bacteria associated with the marine sponge Agelas robusta from a remote coral reef in the South china sea was documented employing 16S rDNA library construction,amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis（ARDRA） and phylogenetic analysis.A total of 32.phylotypes were finally categorized in nine phyla including Cyanobacteria,Proteobacteria,Chloroflexi,Firmicutes,Actinobacteria,Acidobacteria,Planctomycetes,Bacteroidetes and *** dominant phylum was Proteobacteria whereas the dominant genus was Synechococcus in *** spongespecific bacteria were also found in the bacteria population,but the proportion（5 OTUs/32.OTUs） was much lower than other *** study reveals the phylogenetic diversity of bacteria in *** and confirms the presence of some sponge-specific bacteria in the South china *** the diversity of sponge-associated bacteria in china assists to exploit the bacteria resources for biotechnology.

16S rDNA sequencing results from this study and literatures demonstrate that sediment bacteria in the South china sea （SCS） were very diverse,which contained 2. of the 2. phyla of bacteria investigated from marine sediment,however,it was very imbalance among *** bacterial diversity from 15 samples which covered a wide range of sediment types from 2. to 3 888 m in depth was studied in DGGE （denature gradient gel electrophoresis） in this *** DGGE results indicate that both sediment bacterial diversity and diversity difference among stations were *** representative and differential fingerprints among samples were recovered and sequenced,phylogenetic analysis indicates that they may belong to Proteobacteria （α-,β-,γ-,δ-,ε-）,Planctomycetes,Firmicutes,Chloroflexi,Acidobacteria,Actinobacteria,Nitrospirae,Gemmatimonadetes,candidate division WS3 and so on,of which,Gemmatimonadetes and candidate division WS3 bacteria were first detected in SCS *** study also shows that bacterial diversity analysis based on DGGE was more potential than traditional 16S rDNA clone library in multiple sample analysis.

Atmospheric circulation reconstruction based on glaciochemical records requires knowledge of chemical concentration controls, such as source, transport pathway and strength. To gain insight into these processes, the relationships between glaciochemical records from two Northern Hemisphere sites (Mt. Logan in Yukon Territory and 2.D in southern Greenland) and instrumental sea level pressure (SLP) series are investigated. Calibrations between Mt. Logan sea-salt sodium (ssNa+) concentration and SLP series show that ssNa+ concentrations are closely correlated with the autumntime (SON) Aleutian Low and the summertime (JJA) North Pacific Subtropical High. Both the deepened Aleutian Low and enhanced North Pacific Sub- tropical High strengthen the transport of sea-salt aerosols from the North Pacific to the Mt. Logan region. Calibrations between 2.D ssNa+ concentrations and SLP series indicate that ssNa+ concentrations are closely related to the wintertime (Jan.) Icelandic Low. A deepening of the Icelandic Low strengthens winter storms and frequent cyclogenesis over the North Atlantic and pushes more sea-salt laden air masses to the Greenland ice sheet. Therefore, ice core ssNa+ records from the Mt. Logan region can be considered as a proxy for reconstructing the au- tumntime Aleutian Low and summertime North Pacific Subtropical High, and the ssNa+ records from Greenland ice core (2.D) may provide a proxy for reconstructing the wintertime Icelandic Low.

Chemometric approach based on principal component analysis（PCA） was utilized to examine the spatial variances of environmental and ecological characteristics in the Zhujiang River（Pearl River） Estuary and adjacent waters（ZREAW） in the South china sea. The PCA result shows that the ZREAW can be divided into different zones according to the principal components and geographical locations of the study stations,and indicates that there are distinct regional variances on environmental features and the corresponding phytoplankton biomass and community structures among different areas. The spatial distribution of ecological features was implied to be influenced by various degrees of the different water resources,such as the Pearl River discharges,the coastal current and the oceanic water from the South china sea. The variation of the biomass maximum zone and the complex impacts on the spatial distributions of phytoplankton biomass and production were also evaluated.

A segment of Mesozoic subduction-accretion zone was inferred across thenortheastern South china sea at approximately NE450 orientation. Basic evidence includes thefollowing: A belt of peek gross horizontal Bouguer gravity gradient (PGHGBA) is comparable in sizeand intensity to that of the Manila subduction-accretion zone. A belt of high positive magneticanomalies appears to the north and sub-parallel to the PGHGBA, representing the volcanic ar{2.sociated to the subduction zone. The PGHGBA crosses obliquely both Cenozoic structures and presentseafloor topography, indicating a pre-Cenozoic age. The segment is offset left-laterally byNW-running strike-slip faults, in concord with the Mesozoic stress field of South china. Inaddition, the existence of the subduction zone is supported by wide-angle seismic data obtained indifferent years by different institutions. At approximate localities, a north-dipping ramp of Mohosurface is indicated by records of ocean-bottom seismometers, and a strong reflector about 8 kmbeneath the Moho reflector is indicated by both OBS and long-cable seismic records. Theidentification of a segment of Mesozoic subduction zone in NE South china sea fills nicely the gapof the Great Late Mesozoic Circum SE Asia Subduction-acrretion Zone, which extended from Sumatra,Java, SE Kalimantan to N Palawan, and from Taiwan, Ryukyu to SW Japan.

The amplitude of pre-Quaternary sea level drop, H, can be calculated by usingthe formula H = D + To, where To is the original thickness from the top of the tidal deposits onthe reef core to the bottom of the tidal deposits on the reef front, or to the bottom of the ancientmeteoric vadose zone, or to the edge of the mixed-water dolostone zone. The identity and similaritybetween the sea-level drop amplitudes calculated from different reefs far away from each otherindicates that such sea-level changes are eustatic rather than relative changes. Evidence of anend-Permian sea-level drop has been found on the Changxingian (i.e. the end of the Palaeofusulinazone) reefs at Ziyun in South china, including algal laminated deposits, sabkha-related dolostone,desiccation cracks, dissolution collapse breccia. According to calculation based on the meteoricdissolution zone of the reef-core sequence at Ziyun, Guizhou province, the amplitude of thesea-level drop at the end-Permian is about 89.3 m. Calculation via the dolomitized upper part of theChangxingian reef in Lichuan, Hubei Province, yields an 88.9 m amplitude of the sea-level drop atthe end-Permian. Comparison shows that the sea-level drop recorded in the two distantly locatedreefs may be of eustatic type. So the amplitude of the sea level drop of the Tethys sea at theend-Permian might be at least 89.3 m.
