Selective CO_(2.Electroreduction to Multi-Carbon Products on Organic-Functionalized CuO Nanoparticles by Local Micro-Environment Modulation

Surface functionalization of Cu-based catalysts has demonstrated promising potential for enhancing the electrochemical CO_(2.reduction reaction(CO_(2.RR)toward multi-carbon(C2.)products,primarily by suppressing the parasitic hydrogen evolution reaction and facilitating a localized CO_(2./CO concentration at the *** upon this approach,we developed surface-functionalized catalysts with exceptional activity and selectivity for electrocatalytic CO_(2.RR to C_(2.)in a neutral *** CuO nanoparticles coated with hexaethynylbenzene organic molecules(HEB-CuO NPs),a remarkable C_(2.)Faradaic efficiency of nearly 90%was achieved at an unprecedented current density of 3.0 mA cm^(-2.,and a high FE(>80%)was maintained at a wide range of current densities(100-600 mA cm^(-2.)in neutral environments using a flow ***,in a membrane electrode assembly(MEA)electrolyzer,86.14%FEC2.was achieved at a partial current density of 3.7.6 mA cm^(-2.while maintaining continuous operation for over 50 h at a current density of 2.0 mA cm^(-2..In-situ spectroscopy studies and molecular dynamics simulations reveal that reducing the coverage of coordinated K⋅H2. water increased the probability of intermediate reactants(CO)interacting with the surface,thereby promoting efficient C-C coupling and enhancing the yield of C_(2.)*** advancement offers significant potential for optimizing local micro-environments for sustainable and highly efficient C_(2.)production.

The basic concepts about the active structures and some attributes of the modes were presented in paper “Liner Active Structures and Modes]( I) ". The characteristics of the active discrete systems and active beams were discussed, especially, the stability of the active structures and the orthogonality of the eigenvectors. The notes about modes were portrayed by a model of a seven-storeyed building with sensors and actuators. The concept of the adjoint active structure was extended from the discrete systems to the beams that were the representations of the continuous structures. Two types of beams with different placements of the measuring and actuating systems were discussed in detail. One is the beam with the discrete sensors and actuators, and the other is the beam with distributed sensor and actuator function. The orthogonality conditions were derived with the modal shapes of the active beam and its adjoint active beam. An example shows that the variation of eigenvalues with feedback amplitude for the homo-configuration and non-homo-configuration active structures.

In the motion vector field adaptive search technique (MVFAST) and the predictive motion vector field adaptive search technique (PMVFAST),the size of the largest motion vector from the three adjacent blocks (left,top,top-right) is compared with the threshold to select different search *** a suitable search center and search pattern will not be selected in the adaptive search technique when the adjacent motion vectors are not coherent in local *** paper presents an efficient adaptive search *** motion vector variation degree (MVVD) is considered a reasonable factor for adaptive search *** the relationship between local motion similarity degree (LMSD) and the variation degree of motion vector (MVVD),the motion vectors are classified as three categories according to corresponding LMSD; then different proposed search schemes are adopted for motion *** experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has a significant computational speedup compared with MVFAST and PMVFAST algorithms,and offers a similar,even better performance.

Protection and Management of Intellectual Properties in the Networked Manufacturing

Networked manufacturing is a primary management mod e of virtual enterprise. It takes advantage of advanced network technology to pass information and devise and assemble necessary components so as to reach a certa in specific purpose. The characteristics of it are dynamic, international and pr ompt. In contrast with traditional manufacturing, networked manufacturing utilizes external predominant resources, and breaks through tangible limits of enterpris e, so it can optimize the combination of social resources and improve the enterp rise′capability of adapting to the constantly changing market. Networked manufacturing produces some problems while bringing enterprise infin ite commercial chance. Compared with traditional manufacturing, stealing intelle ctual achievements and encroaching the related property rights not only becomes easier and quicker, but also leaves no traces when enterprises transfer informat ion through network. It′s well known that competition among corporations in the future is the on e of intellectual property in the final analysis. Therefore, recently, the statu s of intellectual property protection is promoted grandly. In the following parts, several proposals on protecting intellectual property ar e put forward in detail. We can protect the intellectual property by the ways of strengthening the consci ousness of protection. We can protect the intellectual property by perfecting the law. We will know which behaviors on the network are legitimate and which one are illegitimate. As a result, it can decrease and resolve the conflicts partially. Besides, the article puts forward that the conflicts can be resolved through a m edi-institution, an authoritative governmental organization. Moreover, we should strengthen the education on ethics. At last, the paper presents that we can protect our intellectual property throug h international cooperation.

Nitrogen isotopic composition of plant-soil in the Loess Plateau and its responding to environmental change

The nitrogen isotope of soil is of emerging significance as an indicator of climatic change and biogeochemical cycle of nitrogen in nature systems. In this paper, the nitrogen content and isotopic composition of modern ecosystems from arid and semiarid Loess Plateau in northwestern china, including plant roots and surface soil, were determined to investigate trends in δ15N variation of plant roots and soil along a precipitation and temperature gradient in northwestern china under the East Asian Monsoon climate condition. The δ15N values of surface soil from the study area vary from ?1.2. to 5.8‰, but from -5.1‰ to 1.9‰ in the plant roots. Our results indicate that (1) although the isotopic compositions of both plant roots and surface soil change with a similar trend along the climate gradient, the apparent nitrogen difference between plant roots and soil existed, with -δ15N values ranging from 0.3. to 7.2. with average of 4.1‰; and (2. mean annual precipitation (MAP) is the dominant factor for isotopic composition of plant-soil nitrogen in the Loess Plateau, and the δ15N values are less correlated with MAT; we suggest that nitrogen isotopic composition of soil is a potential tracer for environmental changes.

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores: inhomogeneous phenomena and its mechanism during mineralizing

The inhomogeneous sinter properties in super-high bed sintering have been reported in our previous *** inves-tigate the reasons for the inhomogeneous phenomena,detailed sampling and analysis of mixed material bed and sintered bed in super-high bed sintering plant were *** results indicated that the higher porosity and thinner dendrite of silico-ferrite of calcium and aluminum in the upper layer as well as dense structure and higher secondary hematite content in the lower layer led to the heterogeneities of mechanical strength and reduction properties exceeding 2.%and 10%,*** the bed top downward,the basicity of mixed material decreased from 2.13.to 1.68 because the average particle size increased from 2.65 to 4.56 *** and fuels gathered in finer particles(-3.mm)of mixed material,and the-3.mm particles of mixed material generated more liquid phase than+3.mm *** heat input of super-high sintering bed was inhomogeneous due to the heat accumulation effect and unreasonable fuel *** inhomo-geneous sintering heat condition in sintering bed resulted in the different quantities and properties of liquid *** inhomogeneous quantities and properties of liquid phase that were influenced by inhomogeneous distribution of chemical composition,particle size,and heat input led to inhomogeneous mineralizing *** mineralizing condition is the key for homogeneous super-high bed sintering.

A new analytical model is developed for quantum-confinement effects of short channel surroundinggate *** eigenenergies and wavefunctions are obtained by solving Schrdinger’s equation with an accurate potential energy *** potential energy distribution is derived from the solution of Poisson’s equation,which contains both depletion charge and free *** eigenenergies obtained from our model are compared with other two quantum-confinement models,which use flat-well approximation and parabola-well approximation as the potential energy distributions,*** we point out the relationship between the eigenenergies and the potential energy distribution for the first *** on this model,the electron density with quantum confinement effects are derived,and threshold voltage is defined based on average electron *** considering quantum confinement effects,the electron density becomes smaller while the threshold voltage becomes *** results show that this model is applicable from the subthreshold region to the stronginversion region in different channel doping conditions.

Corrosion behavior of pure metals(Ni and Ti)and alloys(3.6H SS and GH3.3.)in liquid GaInSn

In this study,the interactions between a Ga-based liquid metal,GaInSn,and several metal materials,including pure metals(Ni and Ti)and alloys(3.6H stainless steel(SS)and GH3.3.),at 650℃were *** aim was to evaluate the corrosion performance and select a suitable candidate material for use as a molten salt manometer diaphragm in thermal energy storage *** results indicated that the alloys(3.6H SS and GH3.3.)exhibited less corrosion than pure metals(Ni and Ti)in liquid ***-rich binary intermetallic compounds were found to form on the surfaces of all the tested metal materials exposed to liquid GaInSn,as a result of the decomposition of liquid GaInSn and its reaction with the constituent elements of the metal *** corrosion mechanism for all the tested materials exposed to liquid GaInSn was also investigated and proposed,which may aid in selecting the optimal candidate material when liquid GaInSn is used as the pressure-sensing medium.

The structure and electrochemical properties of a new low cobalt hydrogen storage electrode alloys La1-xLixNi3.2.o0.3.l0.3.(0≤x≤0.2. were investigated with a different additions of Li in replacement of La. With the increase of Li contents the maximum discharge capacity increases from 2.0 mAh·g-1(x=0) to 3.0}.4 mAh·g-1(x=0.1) and the cycle stability is improved correspondingly. The capacity decay can remain 2..6% (x=0.2. after 2.0 charge/discharge cycles. The high rate discharge(HRD) ability of the alloys(x≤0.1) is improved and the best HRD is 3..1%(x=0.1) under the discharge current density 12.0 mA·g-1. It is found that the prepared alloys are basically composed of LaNi5 as matrix phase and LaNi3.as second phase(x≤0.1). But the abundance of LaNi3.phase dramatically decreases with increasing x. When x=0.2. a new phase Al(NiCo)3.is formed.
