Nanostructured MXene-based materials for boosting hydrogen sorption properties of Mg/MgH_(2.

Hydrogen holds the advantages of high energy density,great natural abundance and zero emission,making it suitable for large scale and long term energy storage,while its safe and efficient storage is still *** various solid state hydrogen storage materials,MgH_(2. is promising for industrial applications due to its high gravimetric and volumetric hydrogen densities and the abundance of Mg on ***,the practical application of MgH_(2. has been limited by its stable thermodynamics and slow hydrogen desorption *** is considered as a promising approach for improving the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2. and bringing it closer to the requirements of commercial *** is worth mentioning that the recently emerging two-dimensional material,MXene,has showcased exceptional catalytic abilities in modifying the hydrogen storage properties of MgH_(2..Besides,MXene possesses a high surface area,excellent chemical/physical stability,and negatively charged terminating groups,making it an ideal support for the"nanoconfinement"of MgH_(2. or highly active ***,we endeavor to provide a comprehensive overview of recent investigations on MXene-based catalysts and MXene supports for improving the hydrogen sorption properties of Mg/MgH_(2..The mechanisms of hydrogen sorption involved in Mg-MXene based composites are highlighted with special emphases on thermodynamics,kinetics,and catalytic *** aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive and objective review of researches on the development of high-performance catalysts/supports to improve hydrogen storage performances of Mg/MgH_(2. and to identify the opportunities and challenges for future applications.

ANALYSIS OF CRACK-TIP SINGULARITIES FOR AN INTERFACIAL PERMEABLE CRACK IN METAL/PIEZOELECTRIC BImaterialS

By modeling metal as a special piezoelectric material with extremely small piezoelec- tricity and extremely large permittivity,we have obtained the analytical solutions for an interfacial permeable crack in metal/piezoelectric bimaterials by means of the generalized Stroh formalism. The analysis shows that the stress fields near a permeable interfacial crack tip are usually with three types of singularities:r;and r;.Further numerical calculation on the oscillatory indexεare given for 2. types of metal/piezoelectric bimaterials combined by seven commercial piezoelectric materials: PZT-4,BaTiO;,PZT-5H,PZT-6B,PZT-7A,P-7 and PZT-PIC 151 and four metals:copper,silver,lead and aluminum,*** explicit expressions of the crack tip energy release rate（ERR）and the crack tip generalized stress intensity factors（GSIF）are *** is found that both the ERR and GSIF are independent of the electric displacement loading,although they seriously depends on the mechanical loadings.

The Effects of Aging Precipitation on the Recrystallization of CuNiSiCr Alloy

The interaction between precipitation and recrystallization and its effect on t he properties of the Cu-Ni-Si-Cr alloy during aging were *** result s show that the deformation results in much more dispersed precipitation of the phases. The precipitations have accelerating or retarding effects on the recryst allization. On the formation and growth of recrystallization, the precipitated p hases are coarsed or dissolved in front of grain boundaries following a re-prec ipitation in the recrystallization area.

A Fluorinated,Ion-Conducting and Adaptive Supramolecular Polymer Protective Layer for Stabilizing Lithium Metal Anodes

Perfluoropolyether(PFPE)is a promising material for protective coatings on Li metal anodes due to its chemical inertness and minimal swelling in ***,a conventional PFPE coating with poor ionic conductivity and mechanical stability is still not satisfactory for long-term cycling of Li ***,we design and synthesize an adaptive and high-conductivity supramolecular polymer(PFPE-EG-I).This polymer is constructed from PFPE chains,ethylene glycol(EG)segments,and hydrogen-bonding moieties derived from isophoronediisocyanate,serving as a multifaceted artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI).The incorporated EG segments enhance the Li+conductivity of the SEI,and the hydrogen-bonding units introduce a dynamic self-adaptive behavior to the polymer matrix.A solution-processed PFPE-EG-I coating is demonstrated to promote uniform Li deposition and mitigate side reactions between Li and the ***,this leads to enhanced coulombic efficiency and prolonged cycle longevity in lithium metal batteries(LMBs).The innovative design of this multifunctional artificial SEI offers a promising avenue for the realization of dendrite-free Li anodes,paving the way for the advancement of high-performance LMBs.

Thermodynamic Analysis of the Formation of In-situ Reinforced Phases In Cast Al-4.5Cu Alloy

The thermodynamic analysis of the formation of in-situ reinforced phases in （TiB2.Al3.i）/Al-4.5Cu composites prepared by mixed salts reaction was conducted, and heat changes of mixed salts system were analyzed by differential thermal analysis（DTA）.The results show that although TiB2.possesses the strongest formation ability in Al-Ti-B ternary system, [Ti] is relatively excessive in the in-situ reaction and it combines with Al to form AlaTi phase. The reinforced phases are TiB2.and AlaTi in the produced composites due to the reaction taking place to form reinforced phase with the addition of mixed salts into Al-4.5Cu melt between 900 ℃ and 1 03.0}℃.

Two-dimensional bifunctional electrocatalyst(Mo-NiFe-LDH)with multilevel structure for highly efficient overall water splitting

To effectively address energy challenges,it is crucial to explore efficient and stable bifunctional nonprecious metal *** this study,a Mo-doped nickeliron layered double hydroxide with flower-cluster architecture was successfully prepared by a one-step hydrothermal method,which demonstrated a good water splitting *** an appropriate amount of Mo doping,some lattice distortions in the material provided reactive sites for the adsorption and conversion of intermediates,thus optimising the charge distribution of the ***,the multidimensional void structures formed after doping had a larger specific surface area and accelerated the penetration of the electrolyte,which significantly improved the activity of the catalyst in alkaline *** 10 mA·cm^(-2.,the hydrogen and oxygen evolution overpotentials of Mo-doped nickel-iron double hydroxides(Mo-NiFe LDH/NF-0.2.were 167 and 2.0 mV,respectively,with an excellent durability up to 2. *** the Mo-NiFe LDH/NF-0,2.catalyst was used as the cathode and anode of an electrolytic cell,the catalyst achieved a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2.at an applied voltage of 1.643.*** study provides a novel approach for designing excellent bifunctional electrocatalysts containing nonprecious metals.

Sand control mechanism of radial well filled with phase change material in hydrate reservoir

Radial well filled with phase change material has been proposed as a novel sand control method for hydrate exploitation. In order to reveal the sand control mechanism, CFD-DEM coupling method is applied to simulate the migration, settlement, and blockage processes of sand particles in the radial *** obtained results indicate that three scenarios have been recognized for sand particles passing through sand control medium, based on the diameter ratio of sand control medium to sand particle（Dd）:fully passing（Dd= 8.75-2..5）, partially passing and partially blocked（Dd= 3.18-5.63., and completely blocked（Dd= 2.18-3.2.）. After being captured by the sand control medium, sand particles can block pores, which increases fluid flow resistance and causes a certain pressure difference in the radial *** pressure in the radial well should be lower than the hydrate phase equilibrium pressure during sand control design, for the purpose of promoting hydrate decomposition, and sand capture. The length of the radial well should be optimized based on the reservoir pore pressure, production pressure difference,bottom hole pressure, and the pressure gradient in the radial well. It should be noticed that the sand control medium leads to a decrease in permeability after sand particles captured. Even the permeability is reduced to several hundred millidarcy, it is still sufficient to ensure the effective flow of gas and water after hydrate decomposition. Increasing fluid velocity reduces the blocking capacity of the sand control medium, mainly because of deterioration in bridging between sand particles.

Interface Stability of the SiC Particles/Fe Matrix Composite System

The interface reaction between the SiC particles （ SiCp ） and Fe was stndicd during sintering the SiCp reinforced Fe matrix composites at 142. K for 1 h. In the composite having 3.t% （weight ratio） SiCp （the 3.iCp/ Fe composite）, the interface reaction products of Fe3.Si, the carbon precipitates, and Fe3.C or pearlite were generated. Fe3.Si coustructs the bright matrix of the reaction zone in the original situation of the SiCp. The carbon precipitates are randondy embedded in the reaction zone. Fe3.C or pearlite exists at the grain boundaries of the Fe matrix. As increasing the SiCp concentration in the SiCp/ Fe composite, the inteusity of the interface reaction between SiCp and Fe iacreases. After the 10SiCp/ Fe composite （ having 10wt .% SiCp ） sintered at 142. K for 1 h, all of SiCp are decomposed, and replaced by the reaction zone composed of Fe3.Si and the carbon precipitates. No Fe3.C or pearlite was genertaed during the reaction. The effects of the techniques of oxidizing of SiCp , coating SiCp by interaction with the Cr powder, and alloying the Fe matrix by adding the Cr element on the interface stability of the SiCp/ Fe composite system were also investigated, respectitely. The oxide membrane and the coating layer on SiCp can inhibit the interface reaction between SiCp and Fe by isolating SiCp from the Fe matrix during sintering. The interface reaction does not occur in the 3.SiCp/ Fe- 10 Cr composite but in the 3.SiCp/ Fe-5 Cr composite. In the SiCp/ Fe-Cr alloy composites, the interface reaction between SiCp and the Fe- Cr alloys is weaker than that between SiCp and Fe . The Cr element behaves as a diluent, it causes a redaction in the interface reaction, which is proportional to the amount of the element added.

Study of Multistage Project Risk Identification-Assessment Process Based on Objective Orientation

Risk management of projects is about the real time ev aluation and making of decisions proactively in order to maximize the probabilit y of achieving or surpassing the targets set for project objectives. Project objective generally includes three elements: time, cost, quality. Risk occurrin g in the projects will affect these three factors to some various degrees in the end. There are different emphases in each stage and integrated balanced goals b etween the three factors. A large complex engineering project generally consists of several stages each of which has variable objective combinations leading to variable important risks. In order to achieve strategic goals on the schedule under the restriction of lim ited resources, the paper gives the analysis of the so-called risk identificati on-assessment process on the basis of objective orientation. In this paper the set of involved mostly hazards is presented in terms of given objective weight v ector, and so is the model of risk ranking .By reducing the range of risk factor s step by step, risk manager could pay more attention to important ventures and effectively control of them. According to different objective combination at different stages, primary risk f actor sets at different stages are given. With the probability and their various effects to project objectives, evaluation of these sets is made aiming to r educing of the scope of risks and providing decision maker with a better decisio ns support. Successful projects are those, which focus on the relevant business objectives t hroughout the whole process and seek to information integration across project l ife cycle. This paper also introduces the idea of real time process of risk iden tification-assessment and presents a flow chart as a demonstration.

Modeling and stabilization for a class of nonlinear networked control systems: A T-S fuzzy approach

The stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) is investigated in this paper. A Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the nonlinear controlled plant in the NCSs. Based on parallel distributed compensation (PDC) technique, a novel model of the nonlinear NCSs is established firstly in consideration of both network-induced delay and packet losses in transmission. Then a stability condition of the nonlinear NCSs is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and the delay input approach. Furthermore, the control design of the nonlinear NCSs is developed by means of LMIs. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
