Fuzzy tolerance quotient spaces and fuzzy subsets

The structure and characteristic of fuzzy subsets are discussed by using the concepts of granulation and hierarchy in quotient space theory. First, the equivalence relation based quotient space theory is extended to the fuzzy tolerance relation. Second, the isomorphism and its discriminant of fuzzy tolerance relations are discussed. Finally, by using the fuzzy tolerance relation to define the fuzzy subset, its properties are addressed. The main results are given below: (1) several equivalent statements of fuzzy tolerance relations; (2. the definition of isomorphism of fuzzy tolerance relations; (3. the isomorphic discriminant of fuzzy tolerance relations; (4) the definition and properties of fuzzy subsets based on the fuzzy tolerance relations; and (5) the necessary and sufficient condition of the isomorphism of fuzzy subsets. These results will help us further comprehend the concepts of fuzzy tolerance relations and fuzzy subsets.

To understand how NO2.reacts with sea salt particles in the atmosphere of Mega-cities in coastal zones,the heterogeneous reaction of NO2.on the surface of wet sea salt was investigated with diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) and ion chromatography (IC).Kinetic measurements indicated that nitrate formation on sea salt was second order in NO 2.concentration and reactive uptake coefficients were (5.51 ± 0.19) × 10-7 and 1.2. × 10-6 respectively under 0% and 2.% relative humidity (RH) at NO 2.molecular concentration of 1.96 × 1015 mol/*** results showed that liquid water was formed at the site of MgCl2.6H2.,CaCl2.2.2. on the surface of sea salt and made the reaction more sustainable by releasing hydrated water and absorbing water from air even under a low RH (3.%).Therefore,pure NaCl particles should not be used to represent sea salt in studies of the heterogeneous reaction with NO2.

A new structure of ESKD (expert system based on knowledge discovery system KD (D&K)) is first presented on the basis of KD (D&K)-a synthesized knowledge discovery system based on double-base (database and knowledge base) cooperating mechanism. With all new features, ESKD may form a new research direction and provide a great probability for solving the wealth of knowledge in the knowledge base. The general structural frame of ESKD and some sub-systems among ESKD have been described, and the dynamic knowledge base based on double-base cooperating mechanism has been emphased on. According to the result of demonstrative experi- ment, the structure of ESKD is effective and feasible.

The projective transformation of the special semi-symmetric metric recurrent connection is studied in this paper. First of all, an invariant under this transformation is granted; Secondly, by inducing of the invariant and making use of the properties that the corresponding covariant derivative keeps being fixed under the distinctness connection, the curvature tensor expression of the Riemannian manifold is posed at the same time.

Network virtualization is known as a promising technology to tackle the ossification of current Internet and will play an important role in the future network area. Virtual network embedding(VNE) is a key issue in network virtualization. VNE is NP-hard and former VNE algorithms are mostly heuristic in the *** exact algorithms have been developed in recent years. However, the constraints of exact VNE are only node capacity and link *** on these, this paper presents an exact VNE algorithm, ILP-LC, which is based on Integer Linear Programming(ILP), for embedding virtual network request with location constraints. This novel algorithm is aiming at mapping virtual network request(VNR) successfully as many as possible and consuming less substrate *** topology of each VNR is randomly generated by Waxman model. Simulation results show that the proposed ILP-LC algorithm outperforms the typical heuristic algorithms in terms of the VNR acceptance ratio, at least 15%.

In this study we propose a hybrid spectrum sharing scheme based on power control by combining Overlay with Underlay schemes,to improve radio spectrum *** the scheme,the secondary users dynamically switch their operational states between Overlay and Underlay according to the spectrum *** the dynamics of the primary network is first modeled with a discrete-state Markov process to find the time fraction of secondary users in the Overlay state and that in the Underlay state,which leads to the capacity model of the hybrid spectrum sharing *** the criterion of maximizing capacity,the power allocation of the cognitive network is researched and the optimum power allocation for secondary users is *** a result,the maximum achievable capacity of the cognitive network is *** are given to prove the analysis *** and simulated results indicate that hybrid spectrum sharing based on power control provides a higher capacity than single Overlay and Underlay systems for the cognitive network,i.e.,hybrid spectrum sharing can further improve radio spectrum efficiency.

CAMSHIFT algorithm and Comaniciu/Meer algorithm are two fundamental frameworks of mean shift procedure for video target *** paper generalizes the two well-known mean shift tracking algorithms,originally due to Bradski and Comaniciu/Meer.A new general similarity function which defines the distance between the target model and target candidate is employed to calculate the pixel weights and the target *** target size is iteratively estimated and updated based on the zeroth order moment of the pixel *** we prove that both the CAMSHIFT algorithm and the Comaniciu/Meer algorithm can be included in the generalized mean shift tracking *** tracking performances of three mean shift algorithms in the unified framework are shown and compared in the experimental results.

The Asian-Australian “land bridge” is an area with the most vigorous convection in Asian monsoon region in boreal spring, where the onset and march of convection are well associated with the onset of East Asian summer monsoon. The convection occurs over Indo-china Peninsula as early as mid-April, which exerts critical impact on the evolution of monsoon circulation. Before mid-April there are primarily sensible heatings to the atmosphere over Indo-china Peninsula and Indian Peninsula, so the apparent heating ratios over them decrease with height. However, after mid-April it changes into latent heating over Indo-china Peninsula due to the onset of convection, and the apparent heating ratio increases with height in mid- and lower troposphere. The vertical distribution of heating ratio and its differences between Indo-china Peninsula and Indian Peninsula are the key factors leading to the splitting of boreal subtropical high belt over the Bay of Bengal. Such mechanism is strongly supported by the fact that the evolution of the vertical heating ratio gradient above Indo-china Peninsula leads that of 850 hPa vorticity over the Bay of Bengal. Convections over Indo-china Peninsula and its surrounding areas further increase after the splitting. Since then, there is a positive feedback lying among the convective heating, the eastward retreat of the subtropical high and the march of monsoon, which is a possible mechanism of the advance of summer monsoon and convection from Indo-china Peninsula to South china Sea.
