An improved approach to the efficient construction of and search operations in motion graphs

Motion graphs have been widely used as an effective technique in the synthesis of human *** synthesize well-formed motions,motion graphs require smooth transitions and good ***,the time and costs grow quadratically as the graph size *** this paper,we present a method to set up a hierarchical structure,called a structure *** coarse level of this graph models different motion categories and their transitions,and the fine level mainly captures different motion *** interpolation space method is used to improve the graph connectivity at the fine *** structure guides the establishment of a faster and more realistic graphical *** the building process,this structure also helps with searching the motion graph,by performing a traverse search and placing the findings into a direct look-up table or local search ***,when there is no direct link between the different motions,a navigation map is introduced to conduct an appropriate search path via a series of transition motion *** experimental results indicate that our approach could lower the computation time in construction and searching,while simultaneously providing a richer variety of motion styles.

I-V and C-V properties of TiO_2.thin film by pulsed-laser reactive deposition

TiO-2.thin films have bee deposited on p-Si(111) substrates by pulsed-laser ablation of metallic Ti target in the O-3.ambient. The current-voltage and capacitance-voltage of the Al/TiO-2.Si capacitors are measured. The results show that the dielectric constant of thin film after being annealed at 700℃ is found to be 46, and the border trap density and the interface state density at the TiO-2.p-Si interface are 1.8×10 12.cm -2.and 2.10 12.eV -1·cm -2. respectively. The conduction mechanisms of as-deposited films are also discussed.

Aim:To study the effect of gum mastic,a natural resin,on the proliferation ofandrogen-independent prostate cancer PC-3.cells,and further investigate themechanisms involved in this regulatory system,taking nuclear factor κB(NF-κB)signal as the ***:3.(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2.yl)-2.5-diphenyltetrazoliumbromide(MTT)assay and a flow cytometer were used to detect the effect of gummastic on the proliferation of PC-3.***,reporter gene assay,RT-PCR,andWestern blotting were carried out to study the effects of gum mastic on the NF-κBprotein level and the NF-κB signal *** expression of genes involved inthe NF-κB signal pathway,including cyclin D1,inhibitors of κBs(IκBα),andphosphorylated Akt(p-AKT),were *** addition,transient transfectionassays with the 5×NF-κB consensus sequence promoter was also used to test theeffects of gum ***:Gum mastic inhibited PC-3.cell growth and blockedthe PC-3.cell cycle in the G1 *** mastic also suppressed NF-κB activity inthe PC-3.*** expression of cyclin D1,a crucial cell cycle regulator and anNF-κB downstream target gene,was reduced as ***,gum masticdecreased the p-AKT protein level and increased the IκBα protein ***:Gum mastic inhibited the proliferation and blocked the cell cycleprogression in PC-3.cells by suppressing NF-κB activity and the NF-κB signalpathway.

Circadian expression of clock genes and angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptors in suprachiasmatic nuclei of sinoaortic-denervated rats

Aim:To investigate whether the circadian expression of central clock genes andangiotensin Ⅱ type 1 (AT1) receptors was altered in sinoaortic-denervated (SAD)***:Male Sprague-Dawley rats underwent sinoaortic denervation or asham operation at the age of 12.*** weeks after the operation,bloodpressure and heart period were measured in the conscious state in a group ofsham-operated (n=10) and SAD rats (n=9).Rest SAD and sham-operated ratswere divided into 6 groups (n=6 in each group).The suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN)tissues were taken every 4 h throughout the day from each group for the determi-nation of the mRNA expression of clock genes (Per2.and Bmal1) and the AT1receptor by RT-PCR;the protein expression of Per2.and Bmal1 was determined byWestern ***:Blood pressure levels in the SAD rats were similar tothose of the sham-operated ***,blood pressure variabilities signifi-cantly increased in the SAD rats compared with the sham-operated *** variation of clock genes in the SCN of the sham-operated rats was char-acterized by a marked increase in the mRNA and protein expression during ***2.and Bmal1 mRNA levels were significantly lower in the SAD rats,especially during dark *** blot analysis confirmed an attenuation ofthe circadian rhythm of the 2.clock proteins in the SCN of the SAD ***1receptor mRNA expressions in the SCN were abnormally upregulated in the lightphase,changed to a 12.h cycle in the SAD ***:The circadian varia-tion of the 2.central clock genes was attenuated in the SAD *** baroreflexdysfunction also induced a disturbance in the expression of AT1 receptors in theSCN.

We report the observing results of a short time scale monitoring of the 2. GHz water maser emission in GGD2.. A rapid water maser outburst with the time scales of 4 d has been detected, and the variations are accompanied by some changes in the line width. The time variations were probably caused by a collision pump which led to changes in the pump input.

A simple solution route to control synthesis of Fe_3._4 nanomaterials at low temperature and their magnetic properties

A series of nanostructured iron compounds including cubic Fe3.4 and orthorhombic FeOOH were synthesized via a facile low temperature (in the range of 60-100℃) solution method. In the whole process, the interaction between FeCl2.4H2. and methenamine (C6H12.4) was carried out through a reflux device under different reaction conditions such as temperature, solvent, and duration. The samples were detected by XRD, TEM, SAED, physical property measurement system, and Mssbauer spectroscopy, separately. The experiments showed that magnetic mixture nanoparticles had flake and rod morphologies, and cubic Fe3.4 took on grain nanostructure. Magnetism measurements indicated that the saturated magnetization of the as-obtained magnetic mixture was lower than that of the cubic magnetite. Mssbauer spectroscopy testified the sample consisting of cubic magnetite rather than γ-Fe2.3. In addition, a possible growth mechanism of cubic magnetic nanoparticles under different conditions was discussed.

Effect of transforming growth factor-beta on activity of connective tissue growth factor gene promoter in mouse NIH/3.3.fibroblasts

AIM: To investigate the regulatory mechanism of transforming growth factor-betaon activity of connective tissue growth factor promoter in mouse NIH/3.3.fibroblasts. METHODS: The regulation fragment of the 5' flanking region of the human CTGF gene was linked to pGL3.Basic vector, a firefly luciferase reporter construct without promoter. The recombinant plasmid pCTGF-luc was transiently transfected to NIH/3.3.fibroblasts. The activity of CTGF promoter after treatment of TGF-β1 and MAPK pathway inhibitors were assayed with luciferase reporter gene assay system. RESULTS: TGF-β1-induced increase of CTGF promoter activity was concentration-dependent, with a plateau at 5 μg/L by 2.67-fold vs control (P2.h and maintained to 2. h by 2.76- and 2.2.-fold vs control, respectively (P2.3.80 (10 μmol/L), the p3. MAP kinaseinhibitor, decreased basal and TGF-β1-induced activation of CTGF promoter. However, inhibition of c-Jun-N-terminal kinase/stress-activated protein kinase by SP60012. (2. μmol/L) was without effect. CONCLUSION: TGF-β1stimulated the transcriptional activity of CTGF gene promoter in NIH/3.3.fibroblasts in a dose- and time-dependent manner. MAPK pathway may play a role in the regulation of TGF-β1-induced CTGF expression.

A class of quasi-linear singularly perturbed boundary value problems with singular equation is considered. Under suitable conditions, the existence and asymptotic behavior of a solution for the boundary value problem are studied by using the theory of differential inequalities, and the uniformly valid asymptotic expansion of solution with boundary layer is obtained.
