This paper studies the convergence rates of gene expression programming based on maintaining elitist (ME-GEP) by means of Markov chain and spectrum analysis. We obtain the following results: (1) ME-GEP algorithm converges to the global optimum in probability. (2. The convergence rates of ME-GEP algorithm depend on the revised spectral radius of transition matrix of Markov chain corresponding to the algorithm. (3) The upper bounds of revised spectral radius are estimated, which are determined by the parameters of ME-GEP algorithm. (4) As an application of the theoretical results acquired in the paper, the convergence rates of ME-GEP for the polynomial function modeling problem are also analyzed, which verifies the relations between the convergence rates and the algorithm parameters.

The geological condition of coalfield is much complex in china. With increasing in mining depth and drainage amount, the contradiction of drainage, water supply and environ-mental protection is becoming more and more serious. However, the contradiction can be solved by the scientific management of optimizing combination of drainage, water supply and environ-mental protection. The Philip multiple objectives simplex method used in this article has searched for a possible solution at the first step, and then it goes on searching to find out whether there is a weight number that can lead the solution to the biggest. It can reduce the randomness and diffi-culty of traditional weight method which determine the weight number artificially. Some beneficial coefficients are vague and the number is larger in the model of water resource dispatch. So the vague layer analysis method can consider these vague factors fully, combining the qualitative and quantitative analysis together. Especially, this method can quantify the experiential judge-ment of policy decider, and it will turn to be more suitable if the structure of objective factors is complex or the necessary data are absent. In the paper, the two methods above are used to solve the plans of drainage, water supply and optimizing distribution of water resource in the Zhengzhou mining district.

Based on the measuring data and Digital Elevation Data (DEM) in a typical watershed--Hemingguan Watershed, Nanbu County, Sichuan Province of china, a GIS-based distributed soil erosion model was developed particularly for the purple soil type. It takes 2. m × 2. m grid as calculating unit and operates at 10-minute time interval. The required input data to the model include DEM, soil, land use, and time-series of precipitation and evaporation loss. The model enables one to estimate runoff, erosion and sediment yield for each grid cell and route the flow along its flow path to the watershed outlet. Furthermore, the model is capable of calculating the total runoff; erosion and sediment yield for the entire watershed by recursion algorithm. The validation of the model demonstrated that it could quantitatively simulate the spatial distribution of hydrological variables in a watershed, such as runoff, vegetation entrapment, soil erosion, the degree of soil and water loss. Moreover, it can evaluate the effect of land use change on the runoff generation and soil erosion with an accuracy of 80% and 75% respectively. The application of this model to a neighboring watershed with similar conditions indicates that this distributed model could be extended to other similar regions in china.

This paper presents a definition of L-fuzzifying nets and the related L-fuzzifying generalized convergence spaces. The Moore-Smith convergence is established in L-fuzzifying topology. It is shown that the category of L-fuzzifying generalized convergence spaces is a cartesianclosed topological category which embeds the category of L-fuzzifying topological spaces as a reflective subcategory.

The 100 listed companies were selected randomly in 2.08 in the Shanghai Stock *** two linear independent factor 1 and factor 2.were extracted through analyzing the top ten shareholders of the 100 listed *** the same time the two factors scores of the 100 listed companies were *** two factors were divided into the larger classes and the smaller classes according to the order of the scores of the two *** net earnings per share were divided into the larger class and the smaller class in accordance with the rank of the net earnings per *** log-linear model was established by the two factors as the independent variables and the net earnings per share as the dependent *** the three variables were done as the single factor multivariate analysis of *** factor 1 is significant on the net earnings per *** the factor2.and the interaction of the factor1 and the factor 2.are not significant on the net earnings per share.

The new method isbased on a concept of efficient equivalence point set. We give the definition of efficientequivalence point set, discuss the relationship between it and major efficiency, and presenta new approach to find major efficient (optimal) solutions.
