Facial expression represents intelligence,and facial expression recognition is always an important research field in computer vision and artificial intelligence for a long *** this paper,we present a method of facial expression recognition based on local MR8 filter *** first,human face is detected by YIQ color space and morphologic ***,we find eyes and lip using morphologic ***,local features are measured by MR8 filter,and then facial expression is *** method is computationally simply,easy to implement,which have quick detecting velocity and great recognition efficiency.

Columnar jointed basalt, with a lot of small-spacing structural planes and poor integrity, is a kind of fractured rock mass. Through comprehensive study of columnar joints shape, roughness of fracture surface and chemical composition of basalt, it is known that columnar joints of Baihetan dam area were formed as a result of cooling and shrinkage effects of magma. The columnar jointed basalt is mainly formed through chemical reaction of chlorite, kaolinite, epidote and tremolite, and the columnar joints mainly consist of chlorite according to slice identification and chemical analysis. Test results show that the columnar jointed basalt has high uniaxial compressive strength, low friction coefficient, and high cohesion, shear strength and deformation index. Meanwhile, the columnar jointed basalt is closely locked, and joint surfaces are well closed. The permeability of the rock is quite weak, and the P-wave velocity in the rock could get up to 5 000 m/s. All these show good rock properties. The columnar joints develop regularly, different from the general fractured rock masses. In summary, the columnar jointed basalt can be used directly as a foundation of dam.

A sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of a robust Kalman filter for wireless sensor networks system is derived.

Two photon threshold property of photoresist films have been studied by changing exposure energy. When photoresist film is irradiated by Ti∶Sapphire laser with wavelength 770 nm, pulse width 130 fs, repetition rate 82 MHz, the damage and recording thresholds of the material are 9 15×10 5 J/cm 2 and below 5 57×10 5 J/cm 2, respectively. The principle experiments of two photon optical memory are demonstrated in photoresist film. The patterns of optical bit data storage are realized at different input power density. The corresponding 3 D tomographies of these recorded spots are scanned under near field optical microscope.

A CFD simulation is performed for a particle-laden planar jet *** Reynolds number is 8300,and the initial particle diameter is 1 μ*** Eddy Simulation（LES） is employed to calculate the flow field,and the Taylor-series expansion moment method（TEMOM） is adopted to deal with the balance equation of particle coagulation and *** shear-induced coagulation kernel,power-law breakage kernel and symmetric fragment distribution function are *** prediction of the distribution of the mean streamwise velocity of the jet is in good agreement with experimental *** evolution of particle number concentration,volume concentration,polydispersity,particle diameter and standard geometric deviation is discussed in *** results show that as the jet travels downstream,the particle number concentration and volume concentration decrease,while their spans become *** polydispersity and particle diameter are very large in the shear layers at the upstream and in the core of vortex structures at the *** particle standard geometric deviation changes within the range of 1.32 ≤σg≤ 1.96,and increases sharply in the shear *** variables approach the steady-state as time progresses.

An experimental investigation on the behavior and characteristics of interfacial waves in downward inclined rectangular channel was conducted. The interfacial waves were traced and measured by us-ing conductance technique. The wav patterns were distinguished and defined. The characteristics of the interfacial waves, such as time-averaged film thickness, wave height, wave propagation speed,wavlength and wave frequency, were systematically examined in terms of gas and liquid superficial volumetric fiuxes. The effect of the inclination and flow channel geometry of the test section on the interfacial wav was also investigated.

In the network virtualization environments, one of the most challenges is how to map the virtual networks(VNs) onto a shared substrate network managed by an infrastructure provider(In P), which is termed as virtual network embedding problem. Prior studies on this issue only emphasize on maximizing the revenue or minimizing the energy consumption while ignoring the reliability requirements of end-users. In our work, we incorporate the reliability probability into the virtual network embedding process with an aim to improve the Qo S/Qo E of end users from a new perspective. We devised two novel reliable virtual network embedding algorithms called RRW-Max Match and RDCC-VNE based on RW-Max Match and DCC-VNE, respectively. Extensive simulations demonstrated that the efficiency of our proposed algorithms is better than those of two primitive algorithms in terms of the reliability demands, the acceptance ratio of virtual networks and the long-term average revenue.
