Tangjiashan landslide is a typical high-speed consequent landslide of medium-steep dip angle. This landslide triggered by earthquake took place in about semi-minute. The relative sliding displacement is 900 meters, so average sliding speed is about 30 meters per second. The longitudinal length of barrier dam which is formed by high-speed landslide along river is 803.4.meters; and maximum width crossing river is 611.8 meters. And its volume is estimated about 20.37 million steres. Through detailed geological investigation of the barrier dam, together with early geological information before earthquake, geological structures of the barrier dam and its stability of upstream and downstream slopes are studied when water level reaches different elevations in condition of continual after shocks with seismic intensity of 7 or 8 Richter scale. On this basis, dam-breaking mode of barrier dam is discussed deeply. Thereby, analytic results provide significant guidance and advices to front headquarters of Tangjiashan barrier dam, so that some proper engineering measures can be implemented and flood discharge can be carried out well.

Films were developed from the modified wheat glutens by microbial transglutamina se(MTGase, [E/S]=10u/g,15u/g and 20u/g) in order to improve physical and barri er properties of the *** was used as a *** films prepared from the modified-glutens by MTGase show a lower elongation at break(E) and a water vapor permeability(WVP), and a higher tensile strength(TS) than the nati ve gluten *** the modified gluten films by different concentrations of MT Gase are immersed in water at 25℃,their weight losses decreased significantly, and their water resistance increases obviously as expected, compared with the c ontrol gluten films. Moreover, an addition of glycerol as plasticizer greatly mo dified water vapor barrier and mechanical properties of the films.

Based on EAM (embedded atom method) interatomic potential, the effect of aluminum content on the type of order-disorder transformation (ODT) and the structure properties (lattice constants, volume, c/a ratio and configu- ration energy) during ordering processes was investigated for γ-TiAI based alloys. Results show that for the alloys with lower than 50%Al (all composition is in atom number fraction), the ODT is the first order transition, and the second order transition for the alloys with equal or higher than 50% Al. The increase of aluminum content results in the critical temperature increasing. The aluminum content has a very little effect on the lattice constants, the volume and the c/a ratio, but has a significant effect on the configuration energy. A metastable disordered state was found for the alloys with less than 50%Al.

R-fuzzy set is defined in this paper, which is regarded as the generalization of the Zadeh fuzzy set. By means of CRI method, some fuzzy systems are constructed by suitably using several kinds of R-fuzzy sets as fuzzy inference antecedents, such as interpolation fuzzy system, Bernstein fuzzy system, Lagrange fuzzy system and Hermite fuzzy system. A notion of the normal number of the fuzzy system is defined here, we have shown that all fuzzy systems are able to be classified as three classes such as the normal fuzzy systems, the regular fuzzy systems and the singular fuzzy systems under the significance of the normal numbers of fuzzy systems. Finally, the generalized Bernstein polynomial is obtained by constructing Bernstein fuzzy system, it is proved that the generalized Bernstein polynomial is uniformly convergent in C[a,b] under a weaker condition, and it is pointed out that there exist generalized Bernstein polynomials to be not convergent in C[a,b] by use of constructing a counterexample.

The paper presents a dynamic model intervened by urban design for the decision-making of land development intensity, which expresses the inherent interaction mechanism between lands based on the evaluation of land attributes and their similarity relationship. Each land unit is described with several factors according to their condition and potential for development, such as land function, accessibility, historical site control, landscape control, and so on. Then, the dynamic reference relationship between land units is established according to the similarity relationship between their factors. That means lands with similar conditions tend to have similar development intensities, which expresses the rule of the spontaneous urban development. Therefore, the development intensities of the pending lands can be calculated by the confirmed ones. Furthermore, the system can be actively intervened by adjusting the parameters according to urban design or planning intentions. And the reaction of the system offers effective support and reference for reasonable decision. The system with multiple intervention input is not only a credible tool for deriving development intensities, but also a platform to activate urban design conception. Above all, the system as a socio-technical tool integrates the optimization of form, function and environment, and embodies the principle of impersonality, justice and flexibility in the decision of land development intensity.

Methane coupling under low temperature plasmas at atmospheric pressure is a green process by use of renewable sources of energy. In this study, CH4.H2 dis- charge plasma was on-line diagnosed by optical emission spectra so as to char- acterize the discharge system and to do spade work for the optimization of the technical parameters for future commercial production of methane coupling under plasmas. The study was focused on a calculation method for the online diagnosis of the electron excitation temperature in CH4.H2 discharge plasma at atmospheric pressure. The diagnostic method is easy, efficient and fairly precise. A serious er- ror in a literature was corrected during the reasoning of its series of equations formerly used to calculate electron temperatures in plasmas.

The mafic granulites from Huilanshan are outcropped on the center of the Luotian dome in the northern Dabie Mountains. The Sm-Nd isochron defined by granulite-facies meta-morphic minerals (garnet + clinopyroxene + hypersthene) yields an age of 136 ± 18 Ma indicating the early Cretaceous granulite-facies metamorphism. The cathodoluminescence (CL) images of zircons from the granulite show clearly core-mantle-rim structures. The zircon cores are charac-terized by typical oscillatory zoning and highly HREE enriched patterns, which suggests their magma origin. Some zircon cores among them with little Pb loss give SHRIMP U-Pb ages rang-ing from 753 to 780 Ma, which suggests that the protolith of Huilanshan granulite is Neopro-terozoic mafic rocks. The zircon mantles usually cut across the oscillatory zone of the zircon cores have 3―10 times lower REE, Th, U, Y, Nb and Ta contents than the igneous zircon cores but have high common Pb contents. These characteristics suggest that they were formed by hydrothermal alteration of the igneous zircons. The part of zircon mantles with little Pb loss give a similar SHRIMP U-Pb age (716―780 Ma) to the igneous zircon cores, which implies that the hydrothermal events occurred closely to the magmatic emplacement. In view of the strong early Cretaceous magmatism in the Luotian dome, consequently, the Huilanshan mafic granulite was formed by heating of the Neoproterozoic mafic rocks in mid-low crust, which caused the granu-lite-facies metamorphism underneath the Dabie Mountains. The similarity between the granulite metamorphic age (136 ± 18 Ma) defined by Sm-Nd isochron and K-Ar age of 123―127 Ma given by amphible from the gneiss in Luotian dome suggests a rapid uplifting of the Luotian dome, which may result in further exhumation of the ultrahigh pressure metamorphic rocks in the Dabie Mountains.
