painful stimuli elicit first-line reflexive defensive reactions and,in many cases,also evoke second-line recuperative behaviors,the latter of which reflects the sensing of tissue damage and the alleviation of *** lateral parabrachial nucleus(lpBN),composed of external-(elpBN),dorsal-(dlpBN),and central/superior-subnuclei(jointly referred to as slpBN),receives sensory inputs from spinal projection neurons and plays important roles in processing affective information from external threats and body integrity ***,the organizational rules of lpBN neurons that provoke diverse behaviors in response to different painful stimuli from cutaneous and deep tissues remain *** this study,we used region-specific neuronal depletion or silencing approaches combined with a battery of behavioral assays to show that slpBN neurons expressing substance p receptor(NK1r)(lpBNNK1r)are crucial for driving pain-associated self-care behaviors evoked by sustained noxious thermal and mechanical stimuli applied to skin or bone/muscle,while elpBN neurons are dispensable for driving such ***,lpBNNK1r neurons are specifically required for forming sustained somatic pain-induced negative teaching signals and aversive memory but are not necessary for fear-learning or escape behaviors elicited by external ***,both lpBNNK1r and elpBN neurons contribute to chemical irritant-induced nocifensive *** results reveal the functional organization of parabrachial substrates that drive distinct behavioral outcomes in response to sustained pain versus external danger under physiological conditions.

One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and^(209)Bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 MeV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincident analysis clearly identified twoγ-rays feeding the ground and long-lived isomeric states,which were employed to determine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of complete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections decreased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A coupled-reaction-channel calculation was performed to study the detailed reaction mechanism of the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations indicated that the first excited state of 5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transfer mechanism,and the valence proton of 209Bi can be excited to the low-lying excited state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d,p)reaction.

BACKGrOUND Acute-on-chronic liver disease(AoCLD)accounts for the majority of patients hospitalized in the department of Hepatology or Infectious *** To explore the characterization of AoCLD to provide theoretical guidance for the accurate diagnosis and prognosis of *** patients with AoCLD from the Chinese Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure(ACLF)study cohort were included in this *** clinical characteristics and outcomes,and the 90-d survival rate associated with each clinical type of AoCLD were analyzed,using the Kaplan-Meier method and the log-rank *** A total of 3375 patients with AoCLD were enrolled,including 1679(49.7%)patients with liver cirrhosis acute decompensation(LC-AD),850(25.2%)patients with ACLF,577(17.1%)patients with chronic hepatitis acute exacer-bation(CHAE),and 269(8.0%)patients with liver cirrhosis active phase(LC-A).The most common cause of chronic liver disease(CLD)was HBV infection(71.4%).The most common precipitants of AoCLD was bacterial infection(22.8%).The 90-d mortality rates of each clinical subtype of AoCLD were 43.4%(232/535)for type-C ACLF,36.0%(36/100)for type-B ACLF,27.0%(58/215)for type-A ACLF,9.0%(151/1679)for LC-AD,3.0%(8/269)for LC-A,and 1.2%(7/577)for *** HBV infection is the main cause of CLD,and bacterial infection is the main precipitant of *** most common clinical type of AoCLD is *** diagnosis and timely intervention are needed to reduce the mortality of patients with LC-AD or ACLF.

This registration study assessed clinical outcomes of TQ-B3525,the dual phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(pI3K)α/δinhibitor,in relapsed and/or refractory follicular lymphoma(r/r FL).This phase II study(*** *** March 27,2020)comprised run-in stage and stage 2.r/r FL patients after≥2 lines therapies received oral 20 mg TQ-B3525 once daily in a 28-day cycle until intolerable toxicity or disease *** endpoint was independent review committee(IrC)-assessed objective response rate(Orr).Based on results(Orr,88.0%;duration of response[DOr],11.8 months;progression-free survival[pFS],12.0 months)in 25 patients at run-in stage,second stage study was initiated and included 82 patients for efficacy/safety *** received prior-line(median,3)therapies,with 56.1%refractory to previous last therapies;73.2%experienced pOD24 at *** stage 2,Orr was 86.6%(71/82;95%CI,77.3-93.1%),with 28(34.2%)complete *** control rate was 95.1%due to 7(8.5%)stable *** time to response was 1.8 *** 71 responders,median DOr was not reached;18-month DOr rate was 51.6%.with median follow-up of 13.3 months,median pFS was 18.5(95%CI,10.2-not estimable)*** overall survival(OS)was not reached by cutoff date;24-month OS rate was estimated as 86.1%.response rates and survival data were consistent across all *** 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events were observed in 63(76.8%)cases,with neutropenia(22.0%),hyperglycemia(19.5%),and diarrhea(13.4%)being ***-B3525 showed favorable efficacy and safety for r/r FL patients after≥2 lines prior therapies.

The complete and incomplete fusion cross sections for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were measured using the in-beamγ-ray method around the Coulomb *** cross sections of(deuteron captured)incomplete fusion(ICF)products were re-quantified experimentally for this reaction *** results reveal that the ICF cross section is equivalent to that of complete fusion(CF)above the Coulomb barrier and dominant near or below the Coulomb barrier.A theoretical calculation based on the continuum discretized coupled channel(CDCC)method was performed for the aforementioned CF and ICF cross sections;the result is consistent with the *** universal fusion function(UFF)was also compared with the measured CF cross section for different barrier parameters,demonstrating that the CF suppression factor is significantly influenced by the choice of potential,which can reflect both dynamic and static effects of breakup on the fusion process.

The sequence upstream of the antibody variable region(antibody upstream sequence[AUS])consists of a 5′untranslated region(5′UTr)and a preceding leader *** sequence variations in AUS affect antibody engineering and pCr based antibody quantification and may also be implicated in mrNA transcription and ***,the diversity of AUSs remains *** 5′rapid amplification of cDNA ends and high-throughput antibody repertoire sequencing technique,we acquired full-length AUSs for human,rhesus macaque,cynomolgus macaque,mouse,and *** designed a bioinformatics pipeline and identified 3307 unique AUSs,corresponding to 3026 and 1457 unique sequences for 5′UTr and leader region,*** analysis indicated that 928(63.69%)leader sequences are novel relative to those recorded in the international ImMunoGeneTics information ***,leader sequences are more conserved than 5′UTr and seem to coevolve with their downstream V ***,single-nucleotide polymorphisms are position dependent for leader regions and may contribute to the functional reversal of the downstream V ***,the AUGs in AUSs were found to have little impact on gene *** together,our findings can facilitate primer design for capturing antibodies efficiently and provide a valuable resource for antibody engineering and molecule-level antibody studies.

particulate matter with diameters≤2.5μm(pM_(2.5))has been identified as a significant air pollutant contributing to premature ***,the specific compositions within pM_(2.5) that play the most crucial role remain unclear,especially in areas with high pollution *** study aims to investigate the individual and joint mortality risks associated with pM_(2.5) inorganic chemical compositions and identify primary *** 1998,we conducted a prospective cohort study in four northern Chinese cities(Tianjin,Shenyang,Taiyuan,and rizhao).Satellite-based machine learning models calculated pM_(2.5) inorganic chemical compositions,including sulfate(SO_(4)^(2–)),nitrate(NO_(3)^(–)),ammonium(NH_(4)^(+)),and chloride(Cl^(-)).A time-varying Cox proportional hazards model was applied to analyze associations between these compositions and cardiorespiratory mortality,encompassing nonaccidental causes,cardiovascular diseases(CVDs),nonmalignant respiratory diseases(rDs),and lung *** quantile-based g-computation model evaluated joint exposure effects and relative contributions of the *** analysis was used to identify vulnerable *** 785,807 person-years of follow-up,5812(15.5%)deaths occurred from nonaccidental causes,including 2932(7.8%)from all CVDs,479(1.3%)from nonmalignant rDs,and 552(1.4%)from lung *** interquartile range(IQr)increase in SO_(4)^(2–)was associated with mortality from nonaccidental causes(hazard ratio:1.860;95%confidence interval:1.809,1.911),CVDs(1.909;1.836,1.985),nonmalignant rDs(2.178;1.975,2.403),and lung cancer(1.773;1.624,1.937).In the joint exposure model,a simultaneous rise of one IQr in all four compositions increased the risk of cardiorespiratory mortality by at least 36.3%,with long-term exposure to SO_(4)^(2–)contributing the most to nonaccidental and cardiopulmonary *** with higher incomes and lower education levels were found to be more vulnerable.

基于2020年肇庆市乡镇街道地理尺度的人口普查数据,运用描述性统计方法揭示肇庆市老年人口健康水平的群体差异和空间格局,采用Tobit回归模型识别影响老年人口健康水平的人居环境要素,并探讨了多维人居环境要素对老年人口健康水平可能存在的混杂影响。结果表明:1)肇庆市城镇老年人口的健康水平优于乡村,老年人口健康水平存在性别差异,70岁后呈现女性健康优势被男性反转的特征。2)老年人口的健康水平呈现东南高西北低的特征,在城区、城关镇、建制镇组成的城市内部空间结构中存在等级分异格局。3)pM_(2.5)和地区健康老人比例有显著的负相关关系,年均绿量对健康老人比例的影响并不显著,但却在乡村地区年均绿量可以缓解pM_(2.5)和健康老人比例的负相关关系,污染企业数量和区域贫困剥夺指标则会加剧pM_(2.5)对乡村健康老人比例的负向影响;优质的住房条件有助于提高健康老年人比例,医疗床位数、无主要收入来源、贫困剥夺、高龄对健康老人比例呈负向的预测作用。

Immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting the programmed cell death-1(pD-1)protein significantly improve survival in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC),but its impact on early-stage ground-glass opacity(GGO)lesions remains *** is a single-arm,phase II trial(NCT04026841)using Simon’s optimal two-stage design,of which 4 doses of sintilimab(200 mg per 3 weeks)were administrated in 36 enrolled multiple primary lung cancer(MpLC)patients with persistent high-risk(Lung-rADS category 4 or had progressed within 6 months)*** primary endpoint was objective response rate(Orr).T/B/NK-cell subpopulations,TCr-seq,cytokines,exosomal rNA,and multiplexed immunohistochemistry(mIHC)were monitored and compared between responders and ***,two intent-to-treat(ITT)lesions(pure-GGO or GGO-predominant)showed responses(Orr:5.6%,2/36),and no patients had progressive disease(pD).No grade 3-5 TrAEs *** total response rate considering two ITT lesions and three non-intent-to-treat(NITT)lesions(pure-solid or solid-predominant)was 13.9%(5/36).The proportion of CD8^(+)T cells,the ratio of CD8^(+)/CD4^(+),and the TCr clonality value were significantly higher in the peripheral blood of responders before treatment and decreased over ***,the mIHC analysis showed more CD8^(+)T cells infiltrated in ***,responders’cytokine concentrations of EGF and CTLA-4 increased during *** exosomal expression of fatty acid metabolism and oxidative phosphorylation gene signatures were down-regulated among ***,pD-1 inhibitor showed certain activity on high-risk pulmonary GGO lesions without safety *** effects were associated with specific T-cell re-distribution,EGF/CTLA-4 cytokine compensation,and regulation of metabolism pathways.

Using e^(+)e^(−)annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb^(−1)taken at the center-of-mass energy√s=3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector,a joint amplitude analysis is performed on the decays D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η).The fit fractions of individual components are obtained,and large interferences among the dominant components of the decays D^(0)→a_(1)(1260)π,D^(0)→π(1300)π,D^(0)→ρ(770)ρ(770),and D^(0)→2(ππ)_(S)are observed in both *** the obtained amplitude model,the Cp-even fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are determined to be(75.2±1.1_(stat).±1.5_(syst.))%and(68.9±1.5_(stat).±2.4_(syst.))%,*** branching fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are measured to be(0.688±0.010_(stat.)±0.010_(syst.))%and(0.951±0.025_(stat.)±0.021_(syst.))%,*** amplitude analysis provides an important model for the binning strategy in measuring the strong phase parameters of D^(0)→4πwhen used to determine the CKM angleγ(ϕ_(3))via the B^(−)→DK^(−)decay.
