In this paper,a novel method to automatically detect protein spots on a two-dimensional (2-D) electrophoresis gel image is proposed to implement proteomics analysis of complex *** the basis of the identifying spots results based on color variation and spot size features,morphological feature is introduced as a new criterion to distinguish protein spots from non-protein ***-sharpening,edge-detecting and morphological feature extraction methods were consequently combined to detect protein spots on a 2-D electrophoresis gel image subject to strong *** proposed method was applied to detect the protein spots of proteomic gel images from *** cell,human kidney tissue and human *** results demonstrated that this method is more accurate and reliable than previous methods such as PDQuest 7.2 and ImageMaster 5.0 software for detecting protein spots on gel images with strong interferences.

Facial shape transformation described by facial animation parameters (FAPs) involves the dynamic movement or deformation of eyes, brows, mouth, and lips, while detailed facial appearance concerns the facial textures such as creases, wrinkles, etc. Video-based facial animation exhibits not only facial shape transformation but also detailed appearance updates. In this paper, a novel algorithm for effectively extracting FAPs from video is proposed. Our system adopts the ICA-enforced direct appearance model (DAM) to track faces from video sequences; and then, FAPs are extracted from every frame of the video based on an extended model of Wincandidate 3.1. Facial appearance details are transformed from each frame by mapping an expression ratio image to the original image. We adopt wavelet to synthesize expressive details by combining the low-frequency signals of the original face and high-frequency signals of the expressive face from each frame of the video. Experimental results show that our proposed algorithm is suitable for reproducing realistic, expressive facial animations.

The structure and characteristic of fuzzy subsets are discussed by using the concepts of granulation and hierarchy in quotient space theory. First, the equivalence relation based quotient space theory is extended to the fuzzy tolerance relation. Second, the isomorphism and its discriminant of fuzzy tolerance relations are discussed. Finally, by using the fuzzy tolerance relation to define the fuzzy subset, its properties are addressed. The main results are given below: (1) several equivalent statements of fuzzy tolerance relations; (2) the definition of isomorphism of fuzzy tolerance relations; (3) the isomorphic discriminant of fuzzy tolerance relations; (4) the definition and properties of fuzzy subsets based on the fuzzy tolerance relations; and (5) the necessary and sufficient condition of the isomorphism of fuzzy subsets. These results will help us further comprehend the concepts of fuzzy tolerance relations and fuzzy subsets.

Centrality analysis has been shown to be a valuable method for the structural analysis of complex *** is used to identify key elements within networks and to rank network elements such that experiments can be tailored to interesting *** this paper,we show that the optimization process of modularity density can be written in terms of the eigenspectrum of kernel *** on the eigenvectors belonging to the largest eigenvalue of kernel matrix,we present a new centrality measure that characterizes the contribution of each node to its assigned community in a network,called modularity density *** measure is illustrated and compared with the standard centrality measures by using respectively an artificial example and a classic network data *** statistical distribution of modularity density centrality is investigated by considering large computer generated graphs and two large networks from the real *** results show the significance of the proposed approach.

This paper deals with the problems of robust stochastic stabilization and H-infinity control for Markovian jump nonlinear singular systems with Wiener process via a fuzzy-control approach. The Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is employed to represent a nonlinear singular system. The purpose of the robust stochastic stabilization problem is to design a state feedback fuzzy controller such that the closed-loop fuzzy system is robustly stochastically stable for all admissible uncertainties. In the robust H-infinity control problem, in addition to the stochastic stability requirement, a prescribed performance is required to be achieved. Linear matrix inequality (LMI) sufficient conditions are developed to solve these problems, respectively. The expressions of desired state feedback fuzzy controllers are given. Finally, a numerical simulation is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A new method is put forward combining computer vision with computer aidedgeometric design (CAGD) to resolve the problem of free-form surface reconstruction. The surface isfirst subdivided into N-sided Gregory patches, and a stereo algorithm is used to reconstruct theboundary curves. Then, the cross boundary tangent vectors are computed through reflectance *** last, the whole surface can be reconstructed jointing these patches with G^1 continuity(tangentcontinuity). Examples on synthetic images are given.

Recently, Yang et al. proposed a kind of quantum cryptographic schemes based on secret sharing. The main idea is drawn from the case, where any n participants who share a secret K can co-operate as K does. This process can be applied to encryption, authentication, signature and so on. Unfortunately, since there is no identity authentication of the share's holder, these schemes inherit the limitation of secret sharing in practice. If some participants do not follow the protocol, the protocol would be a failure at last. Moreover, these schemes encounter another serious attack. Any two participants can co-operate to defeat the schemes by sending different shares to the parties unknown to the distributor of the secret K, such that these parties can execute the protocol as well. The attack proves that it is not enough for quantum cryptographic schemes that only the secret key is secure.

Many research indicate a lot of money and time are spent on maintaining and modifying program delivered. So the policies to support program comprehension are very important. Program comprehension is a crucial and difficult task. Insufficient design, illogical code structure, short documents will enhance the comprehensive difficulty. Developing Web application is usually a process with quick implementation and delivery. In addition, generally a Web application is coded by combining mark language statements with some embedded applets. Such programming mode affects comprehension of Web applications disadvantageously. The fast high-efficiency inspection for mining subsidence of mine area is a reliable way for forecasting accident and evaluating losing expense. In order to monitor mining subsidence of exploitation mine efficiently, LiDAR data were used and a novel strip division method was brought forward based on separating-treatment theory, which divided the mass of discrete three-dimensional point cloud data into a series of parallel strips and reduced the dimension in each strip. Polynomial fitting algorithm based on the adaptive weights, which located in the range of the strip, was used for classification complex terrain data of mine-area. The results show that LiDAR datamation can be greatly reduced. In the mean time, the time spending for calculation is shortened, and computational complexity is simplified. Therefore, high-efficiency terrain classification of LiDAR point cloud method can be great beneficial to monitoring environment of mine area.
