In this paper,we propose a generalized form of the PLK *** solve weakly nonlinear prob- lems,in straining the related coordinates ,we choose a kind of transformations including nonlinear functionals of de- pendent variables to linearize asymptotically the original problems,and give more perfect asymptotic solutions with the first-term approximation and the derived *** analysis for some practical examples shows that the generalized method is straightforward and effective and might be applied to more complicated nonlinear problems.

In [21], generalized restricted Lie algebras, defined over a field F of positive characteristic p, were introduced. In this note their cohomology, especially the so-called generalized restricted cohomology is studies. Some reduction properties are obtained. For graded Cartan type Lie algebras the author determines the first Lie-cohomology groups and the first generalized restricted cohomology groups with the coefficients in the highest weight modules from which all irreducible generalized restricted modules are derived.

The mean square displacements of fluid particles in a turbulent channel flow at Reτ = 100 are investigated using a modified Langevin equation, and are compared with DNS results. Both the Lagrangian integral time scales directly obtained from DNS and the predicted values using an empirical relation between the Eulerian and the Lagrangian integral time scales are used in the modified Langevin equation to test the effects of integral time scales on the dispersion of particles. The results show that the slight variation of the Lagrangian integral time scale has little influence on the dispersion. The agreement between results of the model equation and those of DNS is satisfactory except the streamwise dispersion for intermediate times （ 20 〈 t^＋〈 300 ）, where the results of the model equation are slightly overestimated compared to those of DNS. The cause of such discrepancy is discussed.

One dimensional traffic model was studied with the consideration of stochastic deceleration by using the lattice Boltzmann method. The evolution equation for vehicle density was derived, which has the form of the Burgers equation exhibiting the effect of viscosity corresponding to the deceleration. The simulation with the model shows that the variation of vehicle density in space tends to a periodic one, which implies the existence of kinematic waves in the 1D traffic flow and coincides with theoretical prediction.

The flows of nonlinear waves overtopping an obstruction are studied numerically in the present paper. The finite difference method is used to solve the full two dimensional Navier Stokes equations, and the VOF method is adopted to deal with free surface deformations. Numerical results of a solitary wave and periodic waves overtopping an rectangular cylinder are obtained respectively. Many complex phenomena, such as water accumulation, wave run up, water jet flows, water jet impact both upon free surface and on a structure, and generation of new waves on the lee side during the process of the waves overtopping an obstacle, can be successfully simulated.

The hysteresis phenomena of ferroelectric/ferroelastic material in polarization procedure are investigated. Some assumptions are presented based on the published experimental data. The electrical yielding criterion, mechanical yielding criterion and isotropic hardening model are established. The flow theory in incremental forms in polarization procedure is presented. The nonlinear constitutive law for electrical-mechanical coupling is proposed phenomenologically. Finally, the nonlinear constitutive law expressed in a form of matrices and vectors, which is immediately associated with finite element analysis, is formulated. In the example problem of a rectangular specimen subjected to a uniaxial electric field, the procedure from virgin state to fully polarized state is simulated. Afterward, a uniaxial compressive loading is applied to depolarizing the specimen. Results are in agreement with the experimental data.
