The problem on stabilization for the system with distributed delays is researched. The distributed time-delay under consideration is assumed to be a constant time-delay, but not known exactly. A design method is proposed for a memory proportional and integral （PI） feedback controller with adaptation to distributed time-delay. The feedback controller with memory simultaneously contains the current state and the past distributed information of the addressed systems. The design for adaptation law to distributed delay is very concise. The controller can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the design method.

This paper studies the bending of simple-supported rectangular plate on point supports, line supports and elastic foundation. On the basis of three-dimensional elasticity theory, the exact expressions of the displacement functions, which satisfy the governing differential equations and the simply supported boundary conditions at four edges of the plate, are analytically derived. The reaction forces of the in- termediate supports are regarded as the unknown external forces acting on the lower surface of the plate. The unknown coefficients are then determined by the boundary conditions on the upper and lower surfaces of the plate. Comparing the numerical results obtained from the proposed method to those obtained from Kirchhoff plate theory, Mindlin plate theory and those obtained from the commer- cial finite element software ANSYS, the high accuracy of the present method has been demonstrated.

Abstract We investigate negacyclic codes over the Galois ring GR（2a,m） of length N = 2kn, where n is odd and k≥0. We first determine the structure of u-constacyclic codes of length n over the finite chain ring GR（2a, m）[u]/〈u2k ＋ 1〉. Then using a ring isomorphism we obtain the structure of negacyclic codes over GR（2a, m） of length N = 2kn （n odd） and explore the existence of self-dual negacyclic codes over GR（2a, m）. A bound for the homogeneous distance of such negacvclic codes is also given.

The water-diverting route project’s characteristics,natural landscapes,and histories and humanism of the Jiangsu Section of the Eastern Route South-to-North Water Diversion Project were systemically analyzed through proposing and studying the canal culture routes,the water resources heritage corridors,the landscape and recreation corridors,and the town economic *** station areas along the water-diverting route were scientifically zoned and graded through quantitative and qualitative synthetic *** planning compendiums and construction controlling methods were proposed based on the project grades of points,lines,and *** and development of architecture and environment in the large-scale national infrastructure construction were explored *** and methods of developing harmonious water-supplying functions,ecological functions,landscape effects,and cultural effects of large-scale water resources were examined.

Through scanning electron microscope （SEM）, spectral analysis, and component analysis tests, the interaction theory between asphalt and rubber was discussed. It is concluded that rubber powder become soft and bond together with each other after being mixed with asphalt. The asphalt changes from a smooth homogeneous matter to a continuous mixing system which is composed of rubber powder and asphalt. The interaction is mainly physical diffusion, but there are some chemical reactions in the process, especially at long reaction time.

By analysis of the basic properties of entanglement swapping of high-dimensional Bell states,a universal and general deterministic secure quantum communication(DSQC)protocol is proposed,in which unitary operation is not *** making use of the results of high-dimensional Bell measurement,the sender and the receiver can encode and decode the message respectively by performing the modular addition and *** mutually complementary bases are constructed;and according to the property of mutual complement,a method for checking security of the high-dimensional quantum channel is put *** common attack strategies are analyzed,and the corresponding error rates are *** the upper bound of the threshold of error rate is deduced.

Hybrid photovoltaic/thermal(PV/T)system with solar concentrator is an effective way to improve solar energy conversion *** this work,a single-pass PV/T air system with a three-trough compound parabolic concentrator(CPC)of concentration ratio 2.0 is designed and the solar incident distributions at the solar cell surface are calculated by ray tracing *** on energy balance,the heat transfer models of all main components in this system are *** effects of some main designing and operational parameters on the electric-thermal performance of the system are analyzed. The results show that the solar radiation intensity can be higher than 1200 W/m 2 at most area of the cell *** temperature of the air and cell surface increases along the length of the *** the system efficiency of the CPC is higher than that of the system without the *** thermal efficiency, exergy and electrical efficiency of this CPC system increase with increasing of the air mass flow rate and the length of the *** increasing packing fraction the electrical efficiency increases,but the thermal efficiency *** exergy efficiency increases slightly with the packing fraction *** data obtained in this work are valuable for the design and operation for this kind of solar concentrating PV/T systems.

Equations between the differential order and the maximum of the fractional-order differential for the specified peak signals are developed based on the variation of the maximum of the specified peak signals at different orders. Also, equations between the differential order and the zero-crossing of the fractional-order differential of the specified peak signals are proposed according to the variation of the zero-crossing of the specified peak signals at different orders. Characteristic paramters of the Gaus- sian peak, Lorentzian peak, and Tsallis peak can be estimated using estimator I and estimator II which are obtained by the equations above. As a result, a new method is presented to resolve the overlapped peaks signal. Firstly, a fractional-order differential of the specified peak signals is obtained with the fractional-order differentiation filter. Then, characteristic paramters of the specified peak signals can be extracted using estimator I and estimator II. Finally, the Tsallis peak is used as a model to assign the overlapping peak signals correctly. Experimental results show that the proposed method is efficient and effective for the simulated overlapping peaks and detected overlapping voltammetric peak signals.

Characteristic analysis of unsteady viscous flow around a cavitating propeller

Based on viscous multiphase flow theory, this paper presents some recent validation results with a hybrid grid and sliding mesh solving Unsteady Navier-Stokes (N-S) and Bubble Dynamics equations as applied to prediction of pressure, velocity and vapor volume fraction in the wake in an uniform inflow. Comparable to experimental results, numerical predictions of sheet cavitation, tip vortex cavitation and hub vortex cavitation are in agreement with the corresponding experimental data, the same as numerical predictions of pressure in wake. Tip vortex cavitation is the most important to generate the pressure fluctuation within the near wake. The characteristics such as blade and shaft rate frequency of propeller pressure in wake coincide with its geometric model and parameters. With increasing distance from propeller disk, the pressure signals at blade frequency de-crease. The process of attenuation becomes fast with the decreased advance coefficient and cavitation number.

SOME RESULTS ON GENERALIZED DIFFERENCE SETS

Sequences with ideal correlation functions have important applications in communications such as CDMA, FDMA, etc. It has been shown that difference sets can be used to construct such sequences. The author extends Pott and Bradley＇s method to a much broader case by proposing the concept of generalized difference sets. Some necessary conditions for the existence of generalized difference sets are established by means of some Diophantine equations. The author also provides an algorithm to determine the existence of generalized difference sets in the cyclic group Zv. Some examples are presented to illustrate that our method works.
