A three-dimensional representation of vasculature can be extremely important in image-guided neurosurgery, pre-surgical planning. In this paper, a spatial continuity incorporated multi-attribute fuzzy clustering algorithm (MAFCM S) is proposed to segment entire blood vessels from TOF MRA images. This clustering method takes both the intensity information and the geometrical information into account, while most of the cur- rent clustering methods only deal with the former. In this method, a new dissimilarity measure, which integrates the intensity and the geometry shape dissimilarity, is introduced. Because of the presence of the geometrical information, the new measure is able to differentiate the pixels with similar intensity values within different geometrical shape structures. Experimental results show that the new algorithm can get better segmentation.

In current interactive television schemes, the viewpoints should be manipulated by the user. However, there is no efficient method, to assist a user in automatically identifying and tracking the optimum viewpoint when the user observes the object of interest because many objects, most often humans, move rapidly and frequently. This paper proposes a novel framework for determining and tracking the virtual camera to best capture the front of the person of interest (PoI). First, one PoI is interactively chosen in a segmented 3D scene reconstructed by space carving method. Second, key points of the human torso of the PoI are detected by using a model-based method and the human's global motion including rotation and translation is estimated by using a close-formed method with 3 corresponding points. At the last step, the front direction of PoI is tracked temporally by using the unscented particle filter (UPF). Experimental results show that the method can properly compute the front direction of the PoI and robustly track the best viewpoints.

In this paper,a shared latent dynamical model (SLDM) and its application in tracking 3D human motion from monocular videos are proposed by combining the ideas of Gaussian processes dynamical model with shared latent *** tracking in high-dimensional space,SLDM can map state space and observation space to a shared latent space of low dimensionality with associated *** off-line training,three mappings,including dynamical mapping in latent space and mappings from the latent space to both state space and observation space,are *** model can separate traditional human motion estimation in highdimensional space into two steps: In the first step,the shared latent dynamical variables are estimated;in the second step,the human pose of high dimension is *** in human motion tracking from monocular videos using simulations and real images demonstrate that this human tracking method is efficient.

Of different model-based methods in vision based human tracking,many state of the art works focus on the stochastic optimization method to search in a very high dimensional space and try to find the optimal solution according to a proper likelihood *** works perform a framework of interactive multiple models (IMM) to track a human for challenging problems,such as uncertainty of motion styles,imprecise detection of feature points and ambiguity of joint *** paper presents a two-layer filter framework based on IMM to track human ***,a method of model based points location is proposed to detect key feature points automatically and the filter in the first layer is performed to estimate the undetected ***,multiple models of motion are learned by the prior motion data with ridge regression and the IMM algorithm is used to estimate the quaternion vectors of joints ***,experiments using real images sequences,simulation videos and 3D voxel data demonstrate that this human tracking framework is efficient.

This paper discusses the principles,structures,and implementation procedures for reconfiguring a ternary optical processor (TOP).Typical structures,classifications,and naming of the TOP and basic operation units (BOUs) are described in this *** circuit implementations,commands,and processes for the reconfiguration are also discussed in detail.A simple analysis of the high performance and low power consumption of ternary optical computers is ***,an experiment is performed on reconfiguring a 1-bit BOU,which shows that the principles of reconfigurable TOPs are valid,and that the implementations and commands for the reconfiguration are effective.

This paper presents a fault diagnosis method for power *** diagnosis plays an importance role in the efforts for transformer diagnosis to shift form "preventive maintenance"to"condition based maintenance"（CBM）,and consequently to reduce the maintenance *** since its birth,numerous techniques have been researched in this field,each method however,has its own advantages and *** diagnosis is a challenging problem because there are numerous fault situations that can possibly happen to a electrical *** is one of the most importance parameters for the diagnosis of electrical transformers fault *** on the appearance information of temperature,a fault monitoring system can make diagnosis intelligently,therefore it can provide a rapid scientific treatment options for the field *** the problem of transformer fault diagnosis based on temperature information,we use Bayesian probability density theory method to explain the equipment fault diagnosis *** maximum membership probability principle will be adapted to judge whether the equipment is *** results shows that when the working temperature is between 64～72 oC,the diagnosis results without compensation is working on normal state,while the diagnosis results with compensation is general fault ***,the diagnosis results without compensation have large error with the actual *** proposed methodology in this paper was testified having important significance in improving the reliability and the information level of transformer operation.
