The deposit under study is a hydrothermal filling-metasomatic vein type lead-zinc-silver deposit, in whichgold and silver can be recovered as by-products. These metals mainly occur as microgranular native gold,electrum, stephanite, acanthite, pyraragyrite, freibergite, and native silver. Gold minerals tend to be associatedwith galenobismutite, native bismuth and unnamed Bi_2Te. They are either enclosed in pyrite, marmatite,iron-bearing sphalerite and galens or fill the microfissures of these minerals. Silver minerals usually occur incleavages or fissures of galena, marmatite and pyrite, but are not associated with gold and bismuth minerals.Gold and silver mineralizations occurred later than lead and zinc, while the silver mineralization was precededby that of gold.

The eastern Tianshan district occupies the middle of the Central Asian Oogenic Belt and has great economic potential for polymetallic *** than 20 medium to large ore deposits have been discovered in this region since the late *** timing of mineralization was previously thought to be Hercynian,but,Mesozoic ages for intrusions and mineralization have been repeatedly reported in recent *** on geochronological data and regional geological evidence,it is suggested that the mineralization in the eastern Tianshan was formed during multiple *** mineralization processes are related to an subduction-island arc stage (～360-320 Ma) with porphyry-type and volcano-sedimentary copper deposits,a collisional-accretionary stage(～300-280 Ma) with orogenic -type gold deposits,a post-collisional-extension stage(～280-245 Ma) with mafic-ultramafic copper-nickel and epithermal gold deposits,and an intracontinental extensional stage(～240-220 Ma) that gave rise to the Jinwuozi gold deposit,Xiaobaishitou skarn W-Mo deposit and Baishan porphyry Mo-Re deposit.

The Zudong and Guanxi granites are original rocks of the ion adsorption-type HREE and LREE deposits in weathering crust of granites. The ΣREE value and LREE/HREE ratio of the Zudong granite are 264 ppm and 0.81-0.24 respectively, and the average Y/ΣREE ratio is 35.8-54.5%. This is mainly due to magmatic crystallization and evolution and deuteric metasomatism (albitization, muscovitization and fluorite-doveritization). These alterations resulted in endogenic mineralizations of yttrium-group REE fluorine carbonates, silicates and arsenates. The Guanxi granite is characterized by LREE enrichment (the average LREE/HREE ratio is 2.43).

The Junggar-eastern Tianshan area of Xinjiang Automous Region is situated at the northwestern part of china. Collisional orogeny in the area took place in the Carboniferous-Permian and underwent a history of contraction and subsequent extension. The gold, copper and nickel mineralization in the area also took place in the Carboniferous-Permian. Therefore, gold mineralization in the area coincides with the collisional orogeny in timing, distribution and geodynamic setting.

Maoling gold deposit is hosted in the Second Member of Gaixian Formation, which is mainly phyllonitized sericite phyllite with interbed sericite quartzite. Four altered zones with gold mineralization are delineated. Gold is mainly hosted in arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite, pyrite and minor in galena and quartz. Ore δ ( 34 S) is characterized by concentrating heavy sulfur. δ ( 18 O) and δ (D) of fluid inclusions in quartz have the same ranges as those in wall rocks, suggesting that metamorphic hydrothermal solution and meteoric water may be involved in the formation of the deposit. Moreover, deep faults and that some deep derived ore forming materials seem to play more important role.

This study employs the single grain pyrite Rb-Sr technique to date mineralization,using the example of the Linglong lode gold deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula,eastern *** gold deposits in this area are interpreted to have a consistent spatial-temporal relationship with widespread Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous magmatism in eastern china,likely related to lithospheric thinning around 120 *** of the Linglong gold mine contains different types of mineral inclusions such as sericite and feldspar that cause distinguishable variations in Rb- and Sr contents and Rb/Sr *** pyrite samples from veins of different mineralization stages give an average isochron age of 120.6±0.9 Ma. Analyses of one quartz and two sericite samples yield isochron ages between 122 Ma and 120 *** of mineralization is often hampered by disequilibrium of isotopic systems and/or the lack of suitable minerals for dating ***,the successful attempt of the single grain Rb-Sr technique of pyrite,which occurs as a common mineral phase in orebodies and is genetically related to the mineralization,has great potential for precise geochronology of hydrothermal mineral deposits.

Gold deposits are characterized by multi-sources, superimposition, large scale and temporal-spatial concentration in Jiaodong Peninsula, Eastern china. In this paper, we review the history and the development of the study on metallogenic chronology and genesis of gold deposits, summarize the main features of superimposed metallogenesis, provide evidence of the Mesozoic complex metallogenic system, and point out some problems for further research of Jiaodong gold deposit cluster from a regional view. Although gold deposits are different in genetic types, ore-forming materials and geological settings, our research indicates that the accumulation and emplacement of the ore-forming materials are temporally-spatially concentrated on a large scale, and the main metallogenic epoch of Jiaodong gold deposits was concentrated in Mesozoic. Metallogenic chronology and geological-geochemical data indicate that there are two periods of gold mineralizations occurred in 130-110 Ma and 90-80 Ma respectively in Jiaodong ore cluster. The gold deposit cluster results from the superimposition of the polygenetic mineralization, and further study is needed to investigate the formation and evolution of the Mesozoic complex metallogenic system.

Based on research advances of the tectonic regime in Jiaodong ore cluster area and the related tectonic regime transformation in Mesozoic era in the eastern region of North china, in this paper, we first summarize some key problems required to be studied further on. Then we suggest an approach to dealing with these problems. It is known that the gold deposits in Jiaodong ore cluster area, which are of different mineralization styles, spatial distributions and geological settings, might be as a result from one or more geologic events in Mesozoic. Till now, this kind of research on the temporal evolution and spatial migration sequence, especially on the geodynamic mechanism of the above events, is far from sufficient. Moreover, quantitatively describing the action mode and the temporal-spatial framework of tectonic dynamic regimes and formulating the relative contribution of every tectonic dynamic regime for the metallogensis are still challenges to the geologists studying on the formation of Jiaodong ore cluster area. According to the interpretation of the regional tectonic analysis, the structural dynamics, the observation and the exploration of the mineralization network, we propose a geological-physical-chemical model with some constraints originated from the comprehensive analysis. We then use this model to simulate the coupled processes of the structural deformation, thermal transport, fluid flow and the chemical reaction. The obtained results indicate that the model is efficient in further analyzing the temporal-spatial evolutional trail of the tectonic regime in Jiaodong ore cluster area and in further understanding the nature of the mass metallogensis.

Based on the results of two-dimension velocity structure,1:100 000 aeromagnetic anomaly, 1 200 000 bouguer gravity anomaly and seismic anisotropy of Jiaodong and neighboring region in Shandong,china,the information of geophysical field was divided into two parts:deep- and shallow-focus *** then,the information of two different fields was combined with that of deep-seated geology and ore deposit *** synthetic result was adopted to analyze three-dimension structure,to probe into crust-mantle coupling effects of mineralization and dynamics of ore formation system.
