BACKGROUND:Xuebijing(XBJ)can alleviate the inflammatory response,improve organ function,and shorten the intensive care unit(ICU)stay in patients with pyogenic liver abscess(PLA)complicated with sepsis,but the molecular mechanisms have not been *** study aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of XBJ in treating PLA complicated with sepsis using a network pharmacology ***:The active ingredients and targets of XBJ were retrieved from the ETCM *** targets related to PLA and sepsis were retrieved from the GeneCards,PharmGKB,DisGeNet,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM),Therapeutic Targets Database(TTD),and DrugBank *** targets of PLA complicated with sepsis were mapped to the targets of XBJ to identify potential treatment ***-protein interaction networks were analyzed using the STRING *** treatment targets were imported into the Metascape platform for Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment *** docking was performed to validate the interactions between active ingredients and core ***:XBJ was found to have 54 potential treatment targets for PLA complicated with ***-1.(IL-1.),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)were identifi ed as core *** enrichment analysis revealed important pathways,including the interleukin-1.(IL-1.)signaling pathway,the TNF signaling pathway,the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway,and the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling *** docking experiments indicated stable binding between XBJ active ingredients and core ***:XBJ may exert therapeutic eff ects on PLA complicated with sepsis by modulating signaling pathways,such as the IL-1.,TNF,NF-κB,and TLR pathways,and targeting IL-1.,IL-6,and TNF.

Edge data centers(EDCs)have been widely developed recently to supply delay-sensitive computing services,which impose prohibitively increasing electricity costs for EDC *** paper presents a new spatiotemporal reallocation(STR)method for energy management in *** method uses spare resources,including servers and energy storage systems(ESSs)within EDCs to reduce energy costs based on both spatial and temporal features of spare *** solution:1.reallocates flexible workload between EDCs within one cluster;and 2)coordinates the electricity load of data processing,ESSs and distributed energy resources(DERs)within one EDC cluster to gain benefits from flexible electricity *** addition,this paper for the first time develops a Bit-Watt transformation to simplify the STR method and represent the relationship between data workload and electricity consumption of *** studies justifying the developed STR method delivers satisfying cost reductions with *** STR method fully utilized both spatial and temporal features of spare resources in EDCs to gain benefits from 1.varying electricity tariffs,and 2)maximumly consuming DER generation.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the value of relative exchangeable copper(REC) in diagnosing Wilson's disease(WD) and to determine its significance in the differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) ***: A total of 78 patients with WD were recruited on the same day of the medical visit, and among them,32 were suffering from non-WD(N-WD) and 37 were heterozygous ATP7B carriers(HC) enrolled as *** genetic testing was performed for diagnosing WD and HC. Additionally, REC levels in different TCM syndromes were investigated. The correlation between REC and serum ceruloplasmin(Cp), serum copper oxidase(CO), and 24-h urinary copper was analyzed using the Global Assessment Scale and Unified Wilson's Disease Rating Scale and the significance of REC in WD diagnosis was investigated. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging was used to assess the clinical symptoms of WD and analyze its severity in different TCM ***: REC determination helped in significantly distinguishing patients with N-WD or HC from those with WD with a cut-off of 21.1.%. Furthermore, the comparative analysis of REC ratios among different TCM syndromes showed markedly high REC levels in the dampness-heat internal accumulation syndrome ***, the seed-based functional connectivity value from the putamen to the cerebellum was significantly correlated with TCM ***: REC level is a high-quality biomarker for diagnosing WD that effectively reflects disease severity and plays an essential role in deciding on treatment strategies and prognosis. Furthermore, REC levels are closely related to TCM syndromes in WD; thus, it is a potential objective quantitative indicator for distinguishing TCM syndromes in WD.
