An all-silicone zoom lens is fabricated. A tunable metal ringer is fettered around the side edge of the lens. A nylon rope linking a motor is tied, encircling the notch in the metal ringer. While the motor is operating, the rope can shrink or release to change the focal length of the lens. A calculation method is developed to obtain the focal length and the zoom ratio. The testing is carried out in succession. The testing values are compared with the calculated ones, and they tally with each other well. Finally, the imaging performance of the all-silicone lens is demonstrated. The all-silicone lens has potential uses in cellphone cameras, notebook cameras, micro monitor lenses, etc.

Based on the propagation theory of partially coherent light in the space-frequency domain, the anomalous spectral behavior and spectral switches in the far field of partially coherent and polychromatic light diffracted at an aperture are studied. It is shown that, as compared with spatially fully coherent and polychromatic light whose spectral anomalies are induced only by aperture diffraction, the spectral anomalies and spectral switches of partially coherent and polychromatic light depend on the aperture diffraction, spatial correlationβ and bandwidth of the original spectrum. Detailed numerical calculations are made to illustrate the behavior of spectral switches of partially coherent and polychromatic light, and the results for spatially fully coherent and polychromatic light are treated as a special case ofβ=1 and included in our theory.

The symmetry-adapted-duster configuration-interaction method is used to investigate the spectroscopicproperties of ~7Li_2(A^1∑_u^+) over the internuclear distance ranging from 2.4ao to *** complete potential energycurves are calculated at numbers of basis *** the ab initio calculated points are fitted to the analytic MurrellSorbie function and then employed to compute the spectroscopic *** comparison,the spectroscopic constantsreproduced by the potential attained at D95(3df,3pd) are found to be very close to the experiments,a^d the values (T_e,D_e,R_e,ω_e,ω_eχ_e,α_e and B_e) are of 1.732 93 eV,1.161 36 eV,0.313 27 nm,251.95 cm^(-1),1.623 cm^(-1),0.005 35 cm^(-1),and0.490 cm^(-1),*** the potential obtained at D95(3df,3pd),the totally 75 vibrational states are found whenJ=*** vibrational levels,the classical turning points and the inertial rotation constants of the first 68 vibrationalstates are calculated for the first time and compared with the available *** agreement is *** centrifugal distortion constants of the first 32 vibrational states are also reported for the first *** reasonabledissociation limit for ~7Li_2(A^1∑_u^+) is deduced using the calculated results at present.

It is proved that the dynamical system has a compact connected and maximal attractor when the mobilities are constants and generation-recombination term is the Auger model as well as the semigroup S(t) denned by the solutions map is differential. Moreover the upper bound of Hausdorff dimension for the attractor is given.

Four dinuclear amino acid cadmium（II） complexes [Cd2（tren）2（dl-alaninato）]（ClO4）3·H2O（I）, [Cd2（tren）2· （l-alaninato）]（ClO4）3·H2O（II）, [Cd2（tren）2（dl-phenylalaninato）]（ClO4）3（III） and [Cd2（tren）2（l-phenylalaninato）]· （ClO4）3（IV）, constructed from mixed ligands of tris（2-aminoethyl）amine（tren） and racemic or natural amino ac ids（amino acids=dl or l-alanine, and dl or l-phenylalanine）, have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crys tallography. The structural analysis of complexes I and III reveals that the cadmium centers are coordinated by one tren ligand and one amino acid molecule with the unusual （N,O,O′）-bridged mode, resulting in asymmetric chromo phores of CdN4O and CdN5O in complex I, CdN4O2 and CdN5O in complex III, respectively. The utility of the four complexes as efficient water-compatible Lewis acid catalysts for the direct aldol reaction in water was examined. The reaction proceeded smoothly to afford the corresponding β-hydroxy ketones in up to 99% yield. Moreover, the dias tereoselectivity of the reaction favors the formation of the syn-isomers.

In this paper we define some weak martingale Hardy spaces and three kinds of weak atoms. They are the counterparts of martingale Hardy spaces and atoms in the classical martingale Hp-theory. And then three atomic decomposition theorems for martingales in weak martingale Hardy spaces are proved. With the help of the weak atomic decompositions of martingale, a sufficient condition for a sublinear operator defined on the weak martingale Hardy spaces to be bounded is given. Using the sufficient condition, we obtain a series of martingale inequalities with respect to the weak Lp-norm, the inequalities of weak (p ,p)-type and some continuous imbedding relationships between various weak martingale Hardy spaces. These inequalities are the weak versions of the basic inequalities in the classical martingale Hp-theory.

Approach to synthesis and structure of chiral multi-functionalized organophosphorus derivatives

The diastereomerically pure organophosphorus derivatives containing multiple chiral centers 5 and 5 were obtained, respectively, in 62%-84% yields with ≥98% de (diastereomeric excess) via asymmetric reaction of the chiron, 3-bromo-2(5H)-furanone 4 with racemic diethyl a-hydroxyl- substituted-phosphonates 3 + 3 and further through the separation of the diastereomeric mixture by chromatography. The structures of the chiral organophosphorus derivatives were identified on the basis of their elementary and spectro-scopic data, such as IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS and X-ray crystallography. In this report, the synthetic methods of the active organophosphorus substrates, the structure charac-terization and resolution, the optical purity and the stereo-chemistry of the chiral products were discussed. These re-sults provide a new idea and a good method for synthesizing some natural organophosphorus compounds and approach-ing their biological activities, also a facile route to the appli-cation of organophosphorus substrates.
