A partially linear model with longitudinal data is considered, empirical likelihood to infer- ence for the regression coefficients and the baseline function is investigated, the empirical log-likelihood ratios is proven to be asymptotically chi-squared, and the corresponding confidence regions for the pa- rameters of interest are then constructed. Also by the empirical likelihood ratio functions, we can obtain the maximum empirical likelihood estimates of the regression coefficients and the baseline function, and prove the asymptotic normality. The numerical results are conducted to compare the performance of the empirical likelihood and the normal approximation-based method, and a real example is analysed.

We suggest the score type tests for goodness-of-fit of conditional heteroscedasticity models in both univariate and multivariate time *** tests can detect the alternatives converging to the null at a parametric *** functions are involved in the construction of the tests,which provides us with the flexibility to choose scores,especially under directional alternatives,for enhancing power ***,when the alternatives are not directional,we construct asymptotically distribution-free maximin tests for a large class of alternatives.A possibility to construct score-based omnibus tests is discussed when the alternative is *** power performance is also investigated.A simulation study is carried out and a real data is analyzed.

The paper proposes and studies some diagnostic tools for checking the goodness-of-fit of general parametric vector autoregressive models in time series. The resulted tests are asymptotically chi-squared under the null hypothesis and can detect the alternatives converging to the null at a parametric rate. The tests involve weight functions,which provides us with the flexibility to choose scores for enhancing power performance,especially under directional alternatives. When the alternatives are not directional,we construct asymptotically distribution-free maximin tests for a large class of alternatives. A possibility to construct score-based omnibus tests is discussed when the alternative is saturated. The power performance is also investigated. In addition,when the sample size is small,a nonparametric Monte Carlo test approach for dependent data is proposed to improve the performance of the tests. The algorithm is easy to implement. Simulation studies and real applications are carried out for illustration.

For the in-memory computation architecture,a ferroelectric semiconductor field-effect transistor(FeSFET)incorporates ferroelectric material into the FET channel to realize logic and memory in a single *** emerging groupⅢnitride material Al_(1-x)Sc_(x)N provides an excellent platform to explore FeSFET,as this material has significant electric polarization,ferroelectric switching,and high carrier ***,steps need to be taken to reduce the large band gap of~5 eV of Al_(1-x)Sc_(x)N to improve its transport property for in-memory logic *** state-of-the-art first principles analysis,here we predict that alloying a relatively small amount(less than~5%)of Sb impurities into Al_(1-x)Sc_(x)N very effectively reduces the band gap while maintaining excellent *** show that the co-doped Sb and Sc act cooperatively to give a significant band bowing leading to a small band gap of~1.76 eV and a large polarization parameter~0.87 C/m^(2),in the quaternary Al_(1-x)Sc_(x)Sb_(y)N_(1-y)*** Sb impurity states become more continuous as a result of interactions with Sc and can be used for impurity-mediated *** on the Landau-Khalatnikov model,the Landau parameters and the corresponding ferroelectric hysteresis loops are obtained for the quaternary *** findings indicate that Al_(1-x)Sc_(x)Sb_(y)N_(1-y)is an excellent candidate as the channel material of FeSFET.

Terephthalic acid reformed Al/Zn metal organic nanoflake was prepared and functionalized with trie-thylamine(T-AlZn).Without adding terephthalic acid,there was no product of metal organic nanoflake.T-AlZn has a remarkable performance in removing trace lead(Ⅱ)ions(Pb^(2+)).The adsorption equipoise with the removal rate≥97%was reached within 35 *** removal rates of T-AlZn for Pb^(2+)declined by only 16.73%after four *** adsorption of T-AlZn for Pb^(2+)follows the Langmuir isotherms model and pseudo-second-order dynamics *** utmost adsorption competence was calculated as 215.27 mg g^(-1).The T-AlZn adsorbent exhibits a bright prospect in the adsorption for Pb^(2+)and is a considerable candidate in the disposal of industrial sewage.

BACKGROUND Breast cancer is among the most common malignancies *** progress in treatment methods and levels,the overall survival period has been prolonged,and the demand for quality care has *** To investigate the effect of individualized and continuous care intervention in patients with breast *** Two hundred patients with breast cancer who received systemic therapy at The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North university(January 2021 to July 2023)were retrospectively selected as research *** them,134 received routine care intervention(routing group)and 66 received personalized and continuous care(intervention group).Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B)scores,including limb shoulder joint activity,complication rate,and care satisfaction,were compared between both groups after *** SAS and SDS scores were lower in the intervention group than in the routing group at one and three months after *** total FACT-B scores and five dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those in the routing group at three months of *** range of motion of shoulder anteflexion,posterior extension,abduction,internal rotation,and external rotation in the intervention group was higher than that in the routing group one month after *** incidence of postoperative complications was 18.18%lower in the intervention group than in the routing group(34.33%;P<0.05).Satisfaction with care was 90.91% higher in the intervention group than in the routing group(78.36%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION Personalized and continuous care can alleviate negative emotions in patients with breast cancer,quicken rehabilitation of limb function,decrease the incidence of complications,and improve living quality and care satisfaction.

AIM:To evaluate dry eye disease(DED)symptomatology and mental health status in different COVID-19 ***:A cross-sectional observational design was *** 123 eligible adults(46.34%of men,age range,18-59y)with COVID-19 included in the study from August to November,*** Surface Disease Index(OSDI),Five-item Dry Eye Questionnaire(DEQ-5),Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS),and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were used in this ***:OSDI scores were 6.82(1.25,15.91)in asymptomatic carriers,7.35(2.50,18.38)in mild cases,and 16.67(4.43,28.04)in recurrent cases,with 30.00%,35.56%,and 57.89%,respectively evaluated as having DED symptoms(χ2=7.049,P=0.029).DEQ-5 score varied from 2.00(0,6.00)in asymptomatic carriers,3.00(0,8.00)in mild cases,and 8.00(5.00,10.00)in recurrent cases,with 27.50%,33.33%,and 55.26%,respectively assessed as having DED symptoms(χ2=8.532,P=0.014).The prevalence of clinical anxiety(50.00%)and depression(47.37%)symptoms were also significantly higher in patients with recurrent infection(χ2=24.541,P2=30.871,P2.562;95%confidence interval(CI),1.631-7.979;P=0.033]and DEQ-5 scores(odds ratio,3.353;95%CI,1.038-8.834;P=0.043),whereas having a fixed occupation was a protective factor for OSDI scores(odds ratio,0.088;95%CI,0.022-0.360;P=0.001)and DEQ-5 scores(odds ratio,0.126;95%CI,0.039-0.405;P=0.001).CONCLUSION:Patients with recurrent COVID-19 have more severe symptoms of DED,anxiety,and depression.

Yolk-shell SiO2 particles(YP)with center-radial meso-channels were fabricated through a simple and effective ***-containing YP-supported NiMo catalysts with different Al amounts(NiMo/AYP-x,x=Si/Al molar proportion)were prepared and dibenzothiophene(DBT)and 4,6-dimethyl-dibenzothiophene(4,6-DMDBT)were employed as the probes to evaluate the hydrodesulfurization(HDS)catalytic *** as-prepared AYP-x carriers and corresponding catalysts were characterized by some advanced characterizations to obtain deeper correlations between physicochemical properties and the HDS *** average pore sizes of series AYP-x supports are above 6.0 nm,which favors the mass transfer of organic *** cavity between the yolk and the shell is beneficial for the enrichment of S-containing compounds and the accessibility between reactants and active *** embedded into the silica framework could facilitate the formation of Lewis(L)and Brønsted(B)acid sites and adjust the metal-support interaction(MSI).Among all the as-synthesized catalysts,NiMo/AYP-20 catalyst shows the highest HDS *** improved HDS activity of NiMo/AYP-20 catalyst is attributed to the perfect combination of excellent structural properties of the yolk-shell mesoporous silica,enhanced acidity,moderate MSI,and good accessibility/dispersion of active components.

Spinal cord injury-induced motor dysfunction is associated with *** have shown that the triterpenoid lupenone,a natural product found in various plants,has a remarkable anti-inflammatory effect in the context of chronic ***,the effects of lupenone on acute inflammation induced by spinal cord injury remain *** this study,we established an impact-induced mouse model of spinal cord injury,and then treated the injured mice with lupenone(8 mg/kg,twice a day)by intrape ritoneal *** also treated BV2 cells with lipopolysaccharide and adenosine5’-triphosphate to simulate the inflammatory response after spinal cord *** res ults showed that lupenone reduced IKBa activation and p65 nuclear translocation,inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome function by modulating nuclear factor kappa B,and enhanced the conve rsion of proinflammatory M1 mic roglial cells into anti-inflammatory M2 microglial ***,lupenone decreased NLRP3 inflammasome activation,NLRP3-induced mic roglial cell polarization,and microglia pyroptosis by inhibiting the nuclear factor kappa B *** findings suggest that lupenone protects against spinal cord injury by inhibiting inflammasomes.
