Multi-layer quasi-zero-stiffness meta-structure for high-efficiency vibration isolation at low frequency

An easily stackable multi-layer quasi-zero-stiffness(ML-QZS)meta-structure is proposed to achieve highly efficient vibration isolation performance at low ***,the distributed shape optimization method is used to design the unit cel,i.e.,the single-layer QZS(SL-QZS)***,the stiffness feature of the unit cell is investigated and verified through static ***,the unit cells are stacked one by one along the direction of vibration isolation,and thus the ML-QZS meta-structure is ***,the dynamic modeling of the ML-QZS vibration isolation metastructure is conducted,and the dynamic responses are obtained from the equations of motion,and verified by finite element(FE)***,a prototype of the ML-QZS vibration isolation meta-structure is fabricated by additive manufacturing,and the vibration isolation performance is evaluated *** results show that the vibration isolation performance substantially enhances when the number of unit cells *** importantly,the ML-QZS meta-structure can be easily extended in the direction of vibration isolation when the unit cells are properly ***,the ML-FQZS vibration isolation meta-structure should be a fascinating solution for highly efficient vibration isolation performance at low frequency.

With the rapid advancement of Internet of Vehicles (IoV) technology, the demands for real-time navigation, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications, and multimedia entertainment systems have made in-vehicle applications increasingly computingintensive and delay-sensitive. These applications require significant computing resources, which can overwhelm the limited computing capabilities of vehicle terminals despite advancements in computing hardware due to the complexity of tasks, energy consumption, and cost constraints. To address this issue in IoV-based edge computing, particularly in scenarios where available computing resources in vehicles are scarce, amulti-master andmulti-slave double-layer game model is proposed, which is based on task offloading and pricing strategies. The establishment ofNash equilibriumof the game is proven, and a distributed artificial bee colonies algorithm is employed to achieve game equilibrium. Our proposed solution addresses these bottlenecks by leveraging a game-theoretic approach for task offloading and resource allocation in mobile edge computing (MEC)-enabled IoV environments. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms existing solutions in terms of convergence speed and system utility. Specifically, the total revenue achieved by our scheme surpasses other algorithms by at least 8.98%. © 2024 The Authors.

In this paper,the bifurcation of solitary,kink,anti-kink,and periodic waves for （2＋1）-dimension nonlinear dispersive long wave equation is studied by using the bifurcation theory of planar dynamical *** parameter sets are shown,and under various parameter conditions,all exact explicit formulas of solitary travelling wave solutions and kink travelling wave solutions and periodic travelling wave solutions are listed.

Nickel-manganese binary layered oxides with high working potential and low cost are potential candidates for sodium-ion batteries,but their electrochemical properties are highly related to compositional *** composite materials with various phase structures of P3,P2/P3,P2,P2/O3,and P2/P3/O3 were synthesized by manipulating the sodium content and calcination conditions,leading to the construction of a synthetic phase diagram for Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2)(0.45≤x≤1.1).Then,we compared the electrochemical characteristics and structural evolution during the desodiation/sodiation process of P2,P2/P3,P2/03,and P2/P3/O3-Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2).Among them,P2/P3-Na0.75Ni0.25Mn0.75O2exhibits the best rate capability of 90.9 mA h g^(-1)at 5 C,with an initial discharge capacity of 142.62 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 C and a capacity retention rate of 78.25%after 100 cycles at 1 C in the voltage range of 2-4.3 *** observed superior sodium storage performance of P2/P3 hybrids compared to other composite phases can be attributed to the enhanced Na^(+)transfer dynamic,reduction of the Jahn-teller effect,and improved reaction reversibility induced by the synergistic effect of P2 and P3 *** systematic research and exploration of phases in Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2)provide new sights into high-performance nickel-manganese binary layered oxide for sodium-ion batteries.

Prx（Co40Ag60）100-x （x=0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3） granular films have been prepared by DC magneto controlled sputtering method. The XRD data indicated that Pr element favors the （111） plane preferential orientation. Magnetic measurements indicate that the average size of magnetic particles decreases as Pr content increases. For relatively low addition of Pr to CoAg granular films, Pr element can enhance GMR value and a peak value of about -14.3% is obtained at x=1.

This paper presents a new grid-associated algorithm to improve the performance of a D8 algorithm based distributed hydrological model *** algorithm is based on the well known single-flow D8 algorithm of grid *** algorithm allocates calculation priorities according to the distance between the units and the outlet,then carries out the ergodic computations of the hydrological units according to the priority *** the parallelized algorithm,a standard thread-level shared memory system for parallel programming(OpenMP-Open specifications for Multi Processing) was introduced,and the parallel coding was implemented in C lan-guage.A case study showed that the absolute speed-up ratio of the grid-associated algorithm is 1.64 over the original D8 algorithm,and the linear speed-up ratio of the parallel associated algorithm is 2.42 under 4 *** parallel grid-associated algorithm can be applied to a variety of research fields that use the grid method.

The theorems for testing the local in one-port cellular neural/inear network (CNN) cells with four local state variables are presented. Using the theorems computes the bifurcation diagrams of the cardiac Purkinje fiber (CPE) equations Which describethe long-lasting action and pace-maker potentials of the Purkinje fiber of the heart. The computer simulation shows that periodic trajectories or convergent trajectories of the CPF Equations can be foun if the cormsponing cell Parameters are located in a positive domainbut nearby edge of chaos. In particular a heart with approximate normal frequency of heartbeat but non-normal electrocardiogram maysuddenly stop by slightly perturbing the parameters of the corresponding CPF Equations when the Paramders are located nearby the edge of chaos in the bifurcation diagrams. This research seems to interpret reasonbly the phenomena that patients with cardiac diseases might suddenly die without warning.

For purpose of simulation of the working characteristics of a new type offluid coupling shock absorber for vibration protection of sensitive equipment, a physical model ispresented by analyzing the internal fluid dynamic phenomenon with respect to the coupling shockabsorber and implemented in MATLAB software package. Using the model it is possible to evaluate theimportance of different factors for design of the shock absorber. In the meantime, the key-modelmachine is designed for coupling dynamic test. Comparisons with experimental results confirm thevalidity of the model. So the CAD/CAE software has been developed in MATLAB for design andexperimental test of the new coupling shock absorber.

Study on Solder Joint Reliability of Plastic Ball Grid Array Component Based on SMT Products Virtual Assembly technology

Based on surface mount products virtual assembly technology,the solder joint reliability of plastic ball grid array (PBGA) was studied. Four process parameters,including the upper pad diameter,the stencil thickness,the chip weight on a single solder joint and the lower pad diameter were chose as four control factors. By using an L25(56) orthogonal array the PBGA solder joints which have 25 different process parameters’ levels combinations were designed. The numerical models of all the 25 PBGA solder joints were developed and the finite element analysis models were setup. The stress and strain distribution within the PBGA solder joints under thermal cycles were studied by finite element analysis,and the thermal fatigue life of PBGA solder joint was calculated using Coffin-Manson equation. Based on the calculated thermal fatigue life results,the range analysis was performed. The results of study show that that the impact sequence of the four factors from high to low on the fatigue life of PBGA solder joints are the stencil thickness,the upper pad diameter,the lower pad diameter and the chip weight on a single solder joint; the best level combination ofprocess parameters that results in the longest fatigue life is the lower pad diameter of 0.6 mm,the stencil thickness of 0.175 mm,the chip weight on asingle solder joint of 28×10 -5 N and the upper pad diameter of 0.5 mm.
