Plasmid DNA was irradiated or implanted by mixed particle field(CR)or lithium-ion-beam to detect strand *** primary results showed that mixed particle field could induce single and double strand breaks with positive linear-dose-effects;most of sequence changes induced by CR were point ***-ion-beam could induce strand breaks also,but it was only at dose of 20Gy.

The motion of a spark-induced cavitation bubble and an air bubble near a rigid boundary is experimentally studied by using high-speed *** dimensionless parameters are used to describe the geometrical configuration of the bubble-bubble-boundary *** bubble-bubble interaction can be considered in two different *** cavitation bubble will collapse towards the air bubble if the air bubble is relatively small,and away from the air bubble if the air bubble is relatively *** two zones are identified in the bubble-boundary interaction,and they are the danger zone and the safety *** relative position,the bubble-boundary distance and the bubble-bubble distance play important roles in the bubble-bubble-boundary interaction,which can be considered in several conditions according to the responses of the *** jets are found to penetrate into the cavitation *** cavitation bubble and the air bubble（air jet） move in their own way without *** motion of a cavitation bubble may be influenced by an air bubble and/or a rigid *** influence of the air bubble and the influence of the boundary may be combined,like some thing of a vector.

Toxicological Evaluation of Chicken-Breast Meat with High-Dose Irradiation

In this paper, toxicity and safety of high-dose irradiated chicken-breast meat were evaluated. For assays of acute toxicity, genetic toxicity, and sub-chronic toxicity, ames test, mice bone marrow erythrocyte micronucleus, and mice sperm abnormality were performed. The results showed that, in the acute oral toxicity tests, median lethal dose （more than 10 000 mg kg-~） in male and female ICR mice showed no toxicological signs. For subacute 30-d oral toxicology of irradiated chicken-breast meat with dose of 10, 15 and 25 kGy in both male and female SD rats, no noticeable toxicological effects were observed. It is concluded that chicken-breast meat with high-dose irradiation has no acute toxicity and no genotoxicity, nor harmful effects on the animal body at the tested dosage range. Therefore, high-dose irradiated chicken-breast meat is safe for pet consumption.

＜正＞ We report the experimental observations of the segregation patterns in initially well mixed copper and glass spheres subjected to a vertical sinusoidal vibration at different values of acceleration гand frequency f. A segregation phase diagram is obtained, which includes Brazil nut （BN）, Reversed-BN （RBN） and "Sandwich" segregation patterns at different гand f. The stable RBN segregation is experimentally found for the first time, in which large heavy particles move down to the bottom and form the lower-layer while small particles rise to the top and form an upper-layer. The boundary values （г, f）, which separate regions of different patterns, depend on system’s initial condition;i.e., hysteresis exists.

The Tianyu mafic-ultramafic intrusion is one of many important sulfide-bearing mafic-ultramafic intrusions in the eastern Tianshan terrane located in the southern margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt in north Xinjiang, NW *** origin of sulfide mineralization in these intrusions,their relationship with Permian basalts and Atype granites,and the geodynamic setting of the bimodal magmatism in the region are *** this paper we use zircon U-Pb age,Hf-Sr-Nd-Os isotope and lithophile-chalcophile trace element constraints from the Tianyu mafic-ultramafic intrusion to address these important *** U-Pb age of zircon from the Tianyu intrusion determined by SIMS is 280±2 *** confirms that the Tianyu intrusion is coeval with most sulfidebearing mafic-ultramafic intrusions and some basalts and A-type granites in the Tianshan *** to coeval basalts in the nearby Tuha basin,the Tianyu intrusive rocks are characterized by negative Nb anomaly and elevatedε values varying between -1 and +*** negative Nb anomaly in the Tianyu intrusion is not as pronounced as in the coeval A-type granites but theε values for these bimodal rocks are ***ε values of zircon from the Tianyu intrusion are positive,varying between 3 and *** values suggest that the parental magma of the Tianyu intrusion was dominated by melt derived from a depleted source ***γ values of pyrrhotite from the Tianyu intrusion are high,ranging from 725 to 995,which can be modeled by selective assimilation of sulfide from the lower and upper *** Pt anomaly is present in relatively sulfide-rich samples such as semi-massive and massive sulfide ores but not in sulfide-poor samples,which is more consistent with the effect of post-magmatic hydrothermal alteration than the original signature of the parental *** results of modeling using the compositions of selected disseminated sulfide samples suggest that the parental magma of the Tianyu intrusion was dep

The thermodynamic properties and the phase diagrams of the systems Ga-M (M = In, Sb, Ph) were critically re-assessed and optimized employing the software package ChemSage for the calculation of thermodynamicequilibria. The Redlich-Kister/Margules formalism was employed for all solution phases and sets of self-consistentthermodynamic parameters were obtained. The results of re-assessment and optimization are compared with previous work, they are in excellent agreement with most experimental data.
