The probability of the last proton being out of the binding potential, P and the root-mean-square (rms) ra- dius (2>1/2= of the third excited state in 21Na are calcu- lated by means of asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) method with the experimental date existing. The results are P=54.73. and 2>1/2=5.28 fm respectively. The P value and the contribution of the asymptotic part to the 2>1/2 are compared with those of several other low energy states in 21Na. It is found that the valence particle in the third excited state has an obvious larger P than those of other states. The density distribution of the valence proton in this state is also compared with the nucleons in the nuclear core 20Ne, and a far extended tail can be seen clearly. These results show that the third ex- cited state in 21Na is a proton halo state.

A semi-empirical molecular dynamics model is developed. The central collisions of C60+C60 and He@C60+He@C60 at different incident energies are investigated based on this model. It is found that the dimer structures have been produced at proper incident energies and these fullerene dimers could be formed by a self-assembly of C60 fullerene and He@C60. The He atom has a significant effect at higher incident energy and this embedded He atom can enhance the stability of the dimer structure.

4.0Me V 7Li++ RBS was used for investigations of thermal diffusion of Ag in Cu single crystals. The annealing of samples was carried out in vacuum in the temperature range from 498K to 613.. The element depth concentration profiles transformed from RBS spectra indicate that the diffusion of Ag into Cu is a typical volume diffusion. The Arrhenius parameters corresponding to the diffusion were obtained.

High-pressure synthesis and properties of CeO_2-ZrO_2 solid solution

Using nanoparticles of CeO2 and ZrO2 prepared by the chemical precipitation method as starting materials, the single-phase cubic Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 solid solution (c-Ce0.5Z0.5O2) has been synthesized under 3.1 GPa at 1073.K for the first time. The structure of the c-Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 has not been changed before and after annealing at 773.K for 1 h. Only an unknown EPR signal (g =1.990) has been observed in the c-Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 and not varied after annealing at 773.K for 1 h, which exhibited that there exists no Ce3. in the c-Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 and the Ce4+ has not been reduced into Ce3. after annealing. The transport mechanism is ionic for the c-Ce0.5Zr0.5O2. The bulk conductivity (a =1.2×10-5 S/cm at 823.K, σ=2.1 ×10-3.S/cm at 1123.K) is the same as that of CeO2, but smaller than that of Y2O3.stabilized ZrO2. A marked curvature at T = 823.K has been observed in the Arrhenius plot of the bulk conductivity. The activation energy below 823.K is lower than that above 823.K, and the reason has been discussed.

The compression of a Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 bulk metallic glass (BMG) is investigated at room temperature up to 24 GPa using in-situ high pressure energy dispersive X-ray diffraction with a synchrotron radiation source. The pressure-induced structural relaxation is exhibited. It is found that below about 8 GPa, the existence of excess free volume contributes to the rapid structural relaxation, which gives rise to the rapid volumetric change, and the structural relaxation results in the structural stiffness under higher pressure.

The paper firstly defined the remote sensing information quantification, analyzed the necessity of developing remote sensing quantification, figured out the application guidelines requirement, and pointed out the importance of quantification research. Then taking the remote sensing application research of CBERS-02 data quantification as the example, the paper described the whole quantification system of “remotely sensed digital signal-radiation information-field parameter inversion”. Finally the paper gave the prospect for the development trend of the quantitative remote sensing.

Tropical atmosphere is divided into two layers, the layer near the ground is the planet boundary layer, where the motion is linear, if the radiation equilibrium temperature is given at the top of the boundary layer, the vertical motion there can be obtained. It is the non-viscous ideal atmos- pheric layer above the boundary one, where the motion is nonlinear. After getting the conservation laws of angular momentum, potential temperature and potential vortex, the inertial theory of the Hadley circulation driven by the vertical motion of the boundary layer is established, followed by sev- eral examples of its application.

Structural and mechanical properties of amorphous carbon films deposited by the dual plasma technique

Direct current metal filtered cathodic vacuum arc （FCVA） and acetylene gas （C2H2） were wielded to synthesize Ti-containing amorphous carbon films on Si （100）. The influence of substrate bias voltage and acetylene gas on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the films were investigated. The results show that the phase of TiC in the （111） preferential crystallographic orientation exists in the film,and the main existing pattern of carbon is sp2. With increasing the acetylene flow rate,the contents of Ti and TiC phase of the film gradually reduce; however,the thickness of the film increases. When the substrate bias voltage reaches -600 V,the internal stress of the film reaches 1.6 GPa. The micro-hardness and elastic modulus of the film can reach 3..9 and 23..6 GPa,respectively,and the friction coefficient of the film is 0.25.
