Objective To investigate the anti-inflammation effect and possible mechanism of Salvianic acid A(SAA)in mouse peritoneal *** Peritoneal macrophages were obtained from BALB/c *** induced nitric oxide(NO),tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in supernatant,protein expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and activation of nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)in the extract were *** SAA strongly inhibited the excessive production of NO,TNF-α and IL-6 in LPS-induced peritoneal macrophages in a concentration-dependent manner and blocked the expression of iNOS and *** with LPS alone increased the translocation of NF-κB(p65)from cytosol to the nucleus,but the SAA inhibited the translocation of NF-κB(p65).Conclusions The results showed that SAA had strong anti-inflammatory effects in LPS-stimulated peritoneal *** important mechanism is due to its inhibition of NF-κB activation.

Objective To examine the effects of Veratrum nigrum *** Nakai alkaloids(VnA)on angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ)-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and to explore its possible *** The cadiocytes were induced by AngⅡ to set up myocardial hypertrophy model,the animals were divided into six groups according to the different treatments:control group,model group,positive control group,VnA group(low,middle and high dose).The cell protein content,the cell diameter and the expression of calcineurin(CaN)were measured respectively by BCA method,the micrometer and immunofluorescence *** VnA(middle and high dose)and Captopril inhibited significantly the increase in the protein content induced by AngⅡ(P<0.01).VnA and Captopril inhibited significantly the increase in the diameters induced by AngⅡ(P<0.01).By immunofluorescence analysis,the expression of calcineurin(CaN)was obviously increased in the AngⅡ-induced model *** decreased the expression of CaN *** VnA could inhibit the cardiomyocyte hypertrophy induced by AngⅡ significantly in a dose-dependent *** possible mechanism may be related to the inhibition of CaN expression.

This paper pointed out, in the cognitive or semantic processes, the data of EHR reflect their physical nature, which makes mathematics and informatics of less computing capability. Based on this argument a new concept cognitive segment (CS), which is considered with having both physical and formalized quality, was introduced. Centered on CS, the paper presented a series of new basic concepts and their definitions, a set of symbols and expressions, and afterwards explored the types, quasi-formalized expressions, mapping nature, methodology for operations, two distinguished differences, commonsensible background analyses, cognitive dimension regression, supervising function of CSs.

This paper presented the profile of Intrinsic Medical Informatics(IMI), which consists of Medical Cognition Informatics(MCI) and Organism Informatics(OI). MCI and OI are taken as two cornerstones of the Theory of BioMedical Knowledge Integration(BMKI). Additionally, so called Meta-dimension architecture of SNOMED is discussed in order to venture its context computing.

Cardiac glycosides are used in the treatment of congestive heart failure and recently,cancer,however, their role on gastrointestinal smooth muscle are not *** on our observation,we propose that cardiac glycoside producing bidirectional regulation on intestinal smooth muscle depending on its contractile state in the absence of control of nervous and endocrine *** purpose of the study is to reveal the characterization of cardiac glycoside in modulating contractility of intestinal smooth muscle in different contractile states,with the comparison of gastric smooth ***(20μmol·L) inhibited intestinal smooth muscle in high contractile state induced by Ca,K,and Na in high concentration respectively,or by Mg in low concentration,or by Ach and capsaicin *** glycoside stimulated intestinal smooth muscle in low contractile state induced by Ca2+,K+,and Na+ in low concentration respectively,or by Mg in high concentration,or by atropine and quercetin *** results indicate cardiac glycoside produce bidirectional regulation in modulating contractility of intestinal smooth muscle depending on the contractile *** control assay indicates that cardiac glycoside only inhibits gastric smooth muscle contraction in low,normal,and high contractile states.
