Effect of hormonal status and metabolic changes of restricted ewes during late pregnancy on their fetal growth and development

This study investigated the effects of hormonal status and metabolic changes of restricted ewes during late pregnancy on the ovine fetus growth and development. One hundred Mongolian ewes, synchro- nized for oestrus and mated, were divided into three groups and offered 0.175 MJME·kgw-0.75·d-1 (Re- stricted Group 1, RG1), 0.33 MJME·kgw-0.75·d-1 (Restricted Group 2, RG2) and ad libitum access to feed (Control Group, CG) during their late pregnancy respectively. The results suggested that with the sup- ply of exogenous energy decreasing during late pregnancy, maternal body weight and net body weight loss in RG2 and RG1 were lower than those of CG (P0.05), but the GH concentrations in RG2 and RG1 were enhanced and there was significant difference between RG1 and CG on d 120 of gesta- tion (P0.05). However, the NEFA and FAA concentrations of ewes in RG1 were reduced from d 90 to d 120 of gestation, then enhanced from d 120 to d 140 of gestation. During the late pregnancy, with the supply of nutrition decreasing, the negatively physiological and biochemical maternal reactions to restriction became worse, which sig- nificantly reduced the average lamb birth weight and daily growth rate of fetus in RG2 (P<0.05) and RG1 (P<0.01).

＜正＞ The sand source is one of the main factors that related to the sandstorm. The data of RS TM in 1990s and ETM in 2002 are analyzed by the software of PCI, ARCGIS, ARCINFO, which is based on synthesizing and comparing wave band. Typical windblown sand areas are analyzed in the west of Inner Mongolia, such as Wulanbuhe desert, Kubuqi desert, Maowusu sand, Tenggeli desert. West of Inner Mongolia ecologic system in sand source is destroyed seriously because of population increasing, developing of industry, agriculture and animal husbandry, mineral in recent 10 years. Climate condition is extremity rigor in this area. That cause sandstorm takes place frequently. The orientation of sand source is tend toward to the southeast.

The structure and distribution of rodent communities,were comprehensively studied by mainly using trap-day methods in semi-desert and desert region of Inner Mongolia from 1988 to 1993 and from 1998 to 2004..The region belongs to arid and super-arid region of Inner Mongolia(37°24′～44°59′N,97°10′～114°10′E) including northwest part of Xilingguole league,center-west part of Wu-lanchabu league,center-north part of Bayenaoer league and the total area of Alashan *** contained various types of grassland:temperature desert - grassland,grassland-desert and typical desert. The total of 317 sampling plots were arranged in an area of 380,000 km,and total of 157,702 trap-days were completed,The results showed:

＜正＞ The paper reviewed and summarized the study advances and status of portable wind erosion tunnels, and viewed the future development tendency and application prospect. Subsequently, through the analysis and discussion about the requirements for wind erosion measurements and the requirements for simulating the near surface atmospheric boundary layer, the paper described the basic performance and functions that should be possessed for the portable wind erosion tunnels. Based on the analysis and discussion the paper finally put forward several basic aerodynamic requirements and design conditions that should be met in the design of portable wind erosion tunnels.

本文简述了内蒙古河套灌区自然概况，盐渍化演变过程和碱化土壤的改良现状。着重揭示灌区内碱化土壤的发生原因、类型、性质和特点。该地区碱化土壤发生原因：１．灌区内最严重的碱化土壤大部分因地下水含大量残余碳酸钠，在干旱气候条件下经强烈蒸发而成。主要特点是通体碱化度高，改良难度大。２．地下水和地表水中的钠离子，受各种因素影响在土体中富集并进入土壤吸收性复合体而使土壤碱化。这部分碱化土壤一般表层碱化度较高，而巨碱化、盐化特点同时存在。３．局部低洼地，因生物作用使土壤碱化。
