Sulfur doped carbonaceous materials are promising anodes for potassium-ion batteries because of their ability to bridge active sites and induce C/S electron coupling,resulting in increased ion storage capacitance However,the large potassium ions could cause significant volume expansion and structure collapse during operation in sulfur doped carbonaceous anodes,which lead to rapidly capacity sacrifice during long-term *** design for anchoring sulfur atom in carbon skeleton is a novel way to alleviate the structure collapse and maintain the cycling ***,this study developed a controlled nanopore and sulfur doped carbon sphere structure(S-NPHCSs).In potassium-ion batteries S-NPHCSs anode demonstrated exceptional performance with a high reversible capacity of 247 mAh·g^(–1)after 50 cycles at 0.2 A·g^(–1)and delivered a long cycle stability of 600 cycles at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(–1).Interconnected nanopores and doped sulfur structure not only expand the accumulation space and offer ample active sites for diffusion and adsorption of potassium ions,but also build stable channels through nanopore structure to ensure the cyclic *** finding provides a fundamental theory for designing nanopore structures and introducing sulfur doped carbonaceous materials to enhance capacitive potassium storage and long cycle stability.

BACKGROUND Prealbumin is considered to be a useful indicator of nutritional status. Furthermore, it has been found to be associated with severities and prognosis of a range of diseases. However, limited data on the association of baseline prealbumin level with outcomes of patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI) are *** We analyzed 2313 patients admitted for acute STEMI between October 2013 and December 2020. In-hospital outcomes and mortality during the 49 months(interquartile range: 26–73 months) follow-up period were compared between patients with the low prealbumin level(< 170 mg/L) and those with the high prealbumin level(≥ 170 mg/L).RESULTS A total of 114 patients(4.9%) died during hospitalization. After propensity score matching, patients with the low prealbumin level than those with the high prealbumin level experienced higher incidences of heart failure with Killip class Ⅲ(9.9%vs. 4.4%, P = 0.034), cardiovascular death(8.4% vs. 3.4%, P = 0.035) and the composite of major adverse cardiovascular events(19.2%vs. 10.3%, P = 0.012). Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified that the low prealbumin level(< 170 mg/L) was an independent predictor of in-hospital major adverse cardiovascular events(odds ratio = 1.918, 95% CI: 1.250–2.942, P = 0.003). The cutoff value of prealbumin level for predicting in-hospital death was 170 mg/L(area under the curve = 0.703, 95% CI: 0.651–0.754, P< 0.001;sensitivity = 0.544, specificity = 0.794). However, after multivariate adjustment of possible confounders, baseline prealbumin level(170 mg/L) was no longer independently associated with 49-month cardiovascular death. Bulk nanoporous （np） metallic actuators have attracted increasing attention due to their large strain and low stimulation ***,studies focusing upon the combined effect of composition and structure on the actuation performance of metallic actuators are relatively scarce,and its underlying mechanism needs to be clarified Herein,a series of bulk np-NiPd samples with differen compositions and microstructures were fabricated using a dealloying-coarsening-dealloying strategy and chargecontrolled electrochemical dealloying,and the process involves only one component of precursor *** has been found that the np-NiPd cubes show a composition/structure-dependent mechanical property and electrochemical actuation ***,the npNi70Pd30sample with a homogeneously porous structure and good network connectivity exhibits significantly larger strain amplitude and faster strain rate than other hierarchically porous NiPd samples (np-Ni50Pd50and npNi20Pd80).Moreover,the np-Ni70Pd30sample demonstrates good actuation stability with high strain retention after hundreds of ***,the maximum strain amplitude （1.17%） is even comparable to that of advanced leadfree piezoceramic,and the maximum strain rate exceeds those of many reported metallic actuator *** work indicates that good network connectivity plays a vita role in facilitating large/fast strain response in metallic actuators.

Meeting the damage tolerance requirements for engineering-grade titanium alloys pose a significant challenge in achieving high fracture toughness in direct energy deposition(DED)titanium *** work primarily investigated the relationship between the microstructure and the fracture toughness of DED new Ti-6Al-4V-1Mo *** types of microstructures were designed via two process strategies:high-line energy density(HE)and low-line energy density(LE).Relative to LE samples,HE samples possess larger-sized microstructural characteristics(coarser grain boundaryα(α_(GB)),largerαcolonies,and coarserαlaths).Lessα/βphase boundaries were formed by coarserαlaths in the HE samples,increasing the movement of dislocations,resulting in tensile strength decreasing from 1007.1 MPa(LE)to 930.8 MPa(HE)and elongation increasing from 10.8%(LE)to 15.7%(HE).Also,HE samples exhibited an excellent fracture toughness of 114.0 MPa m^(1/2),significantly higher than that of LE samples(76.8 MPa m^(1/2)).An analysis of crack propagation paths was conducted to investigate the factors contributing to *** primary factor enhancing toughness is the frequent obstruction of cracks by coarseαGB and largeαcolonies in HE ***,the pretty large-angle deflections induced by the superposition effect of coarseαGB and largeαcolonies play a vital of significant *** factors induced the long and tortuous high-energy pathways,which resulted in ultimately improved fracture *** discovered microstructural toughening mechanisms can serve as a reference for future studies involving titanium alloys,offering insights on how to enhance fracture toughness by achieving similar characteristics.

As an earth-abundant and environmentally friendly material,tin sulfide(SnS)is not only a high-performance photovoltaic material,but also a new promising thermoelectric *** extensive research on the thermoelectric properties of this material in recent years,the room-temperature thermoelectric figure of merit(ZT)of SnS has not been broke through 2[2022 *** Mater.651143].In this work,based on a combination of density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green’s function method,the electronic and thermoelectric properties in SnS-nanoribbon-based heterojunctions are *** results show that although SnS nanoribbons(SNSNRs)with zigzag edges(ZSNSNRs)and armchair edges(ASNSNRs)both have semiconductor properties,the bandgaps of ASNSNRs are much wider than those of ZSNSNRs,which induces much wider conductance gaps of𝑁-ASNSNR(N𝑁is the number of tin-sulfide lines across the ribbon width)).In the positive energy region,the ZT peaks of𝐿L-SNS-Au are much larger than those of𝐿L-SNS-GNR(L𝐿represents the number of longitudinal repeating units of SNSNR in the scattering region).While in the positive energy region,the ZT peaks of𝐿-SNSGNR are larger than those of𝐿-*** calculations reveal that the figure of merit will be over 3.7 in L-SNS-Au and 2.2 in𝐿L-SNS-GNR at room temperature,and over 4 in𝐿L-SNS-Au and 2.6 in𝐿L-SNS-GNR at 500 K.

BACKGROUND Extragastric lesions are typically not misdiagnosed as gastric submucosal tumor(SMT).However,we encountered two rare cases where extrinsic lesions were misdiagnosed as gastric *** SUMMARY We describe two cases of gastric SMT-like protrusions initially misdiagnosed as gastric SMTs by the abdominal contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CT)and endoscopic ultrasound(EUS).Based on the CT and EUS findings,the patients underwent gastroscopy;however,no tumor was identified after incising the gastric *** surgical exploration revealed no gastric lesions in both patients,but a mass was found in the left triangular ligament of the *** patients underwent laparoscopic tumor resection,and the postoperative diagnosis was hepatic *** During EUS procedures,scanning across different layers and at varying degrees of gastric cavity distension,coupled with meticulous image analysis,has the potential to mitigate the likelihood of such misdiagnoses.

Perfuorinated compounds(PFCs)are toxic and widely present in the environment,and therefore effective adsorbents are required to remove PFCs from environmental *** the present study,a new type of fuorinated biomass materials was synthesized via an ingenious fuorosilanization *** adsorbents were applied for the adsorption of 13typical PFCs,including perfuorocarboxylic acids(PFCAs)and perfuorosulfonic acids(PFSAs).By comparing their adsorption performance,Fluorinated cedar slag(FCS)was discovered to have the best absorption efficiency and enabled highly efficient enrichment of *** adsorption recovery of FCS with the investigated PFCs is greater than 90%under the optimal adsorption *** to the high affinity of F-F sorbent-sorbate interaction,FCS had good adsorption capacities of PFCs from aqueous solution,with the maximum adsorption capacity of 15.80 mg/g for PFOS and 10.71 mg/g for PFOA,***,the adsorption time could be achieved in a short time(8 min).Using the FCS absorbent,an innovative FCS-solid phase extraction assisted with high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray-tandem mass spectrometry(FCS-SPE-HPLC-ESI-MS/MS)method was first developed to sensitively detect PFCs in the environmental water *** intra-day and inter-day recovery rates of the 13 compounds ranged from 90.7%-104.3%,with the RSD of 2.1%-4.7%(intra-day)and 2.5%-8.5%(inter-day),*** research demonstrates the potential of the newly fuoro-functionalized plant biomass to adsorb PFCs from environmental water,with the advantages of high adsorption efficiencies,high antiinterference,easy operation and low economic cost.

The paper develops a multiple matching attenuation method based on extended filtering in the curvelet domain,which combines the traditional Wiener filtering method with the matching attenuation method in curvelet ***,the method uses the predicted multiple data to generate the Hilbert transform records,time derivative records and time derivative records of Hilbert ***,the above records are transformed into the curvelet domain and multiple matching attenuation based on least squares extended filtering is ***,the attenuation results are transformed back into the time-space *** on the model data and field data show that the method proposed in the paper effectively suppress the multiples while preserving the primaries ***,it has higher accuracy in eliminating multiple reflections,which is more suitable for the multiple attenuation tasks in the areas with complex structures compared to the time-space domain extended filtering method and the conventional curvelet transform method.
