Liver Disease-Sodium.and Fibrosis-4 scores were 5.1±0.5,9.0±3.0,and 3.7±4.5,*** the 18 patients,two presented with esophag.al varices and six with portal hypertensive *** m.an PPg.was 5.8±4.5 m.Hg.and five patients exhibited clinically sig.ificant PH(CSPH).Of the 18 patients,15 underwent concurrent EUS-liver biopsy,which was 100%successful and provided diag.ostic histolog. for all *** PPg.data led to chang.s in the clinical m.nag.m.nt of 17 ***:EUS-PPg.is safe and technically *** Child-Pug. score did not correlate well with the presence of CSPH;however,PPg.m.asurem.nts resulted in chang.s in the m.nag.m.nt of alm.st all *** studies correlating.EUS-PPg.with other assessm.nts of liver diseases are required.

The sandstones of the Late m.ocene–Pliocene Dibdibba Form.tion in the Najaf–Karbala Plateau and Basra were exam.ned to determ.ne their source rocks and orig.n. The rare earth elem.nts(REE) and trace elem.nts(Sc, Co, V, and Th) concentrations in these sandstones revealed that they likely derived from.a sing.e source. The steep lig.t rare earth elem.nts(LREE) and flat, heavy rare earth elem.nt(HREE) patterns, neg.tive Eu anom.ly, and hig. ΣREE contents in sandstones sug.est its derivation from.a sug.ests that a passive continental m.rg.n environm.nt and orig.nated from.felsic source rocks. The averag. concentration of ΣREE is 93.5 ppm. which is lower than that of the averag. crustal com.ositions like Upper Continental Crust and Post Archean Australian Shale. The hig.er proportion of LREE com.ared to HREE im.lies that these sandstones were recycled and derived from.a distal source. The Th/Co, Th/Sc, La/Sc, La/Co, Eu/Eu*and(La/Lu)cn elem.ntal ratios indicated that these Late m.ocene–Pliocene sandstones were derived from.felsic rocks located in the m.rg.nal reg.on of the Arabian Shield.

黄土高原黄土-古土壤序列中保存有丰富的土壤碳酸盐,是利用碳酸盐团簇同位素(Δ47)定量重建古温度的重要地质载体之一。然而,黄土高原全新世土壤碳酸盐Δ47及其气候指示意义的系统研究仍然缺乏。本研究分析了黄土高原南缘渭南剖面和中部洛川剖面上部3 m.积中保存的全新世土壤碳酸盐（钙结核）的团簇同位素组成,监测了现在地形条件下距地表4 m.内不同深度的土壤温度。结果显示,Δ47定量重建的全新世土壤碳酸盐团簇同位素温度(T47)与现代暖季节温度相近,渭南剖面T47平均值约为25℃,洛川剖面约为18℃,较区域年均温高8～10℃。根据T47和土壤碳酸盐氧同位素组成(δ18O)重建的土壤水δ18O也与暖季节降水的δ18O基本一致,这些数据表明黄土高原土壤碳酸盐记录了暖季节的环境信息。值得注意的是,渭南和洛川剖面钙结核T47值与其形成深度的土壤温度基本吻合,结合前人研究结果,这暗示了土壤碳酸盐形成深度对其T47具有显著影响。因此,在将来土壤碳酸盐Δ47的研究中,评估土壤碳酸盐形成深度至关重要。

Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L) consists of various beneficial com.onents like stalks, seeds, leaves, fibers, oils, proteins, allelopathic chem.cals, and fiber strands, am.ng.other thing.. Despite the num.rous uses of the crop, there is little or no inform.tion on optim.m.ag.onom.c practices such as planting.date and N fertilization of the crop in the Upper East Reg.on (UER) of g.ana where the crop is widely cultivated by sm.llholder farm.rs. Field experim.nts were therefore carried out in 2020 and repeated during.the 2021 cropping.season in the study area. The objective of the study was to determ.ne appropriate planting.date and N fertilization for increased kenaf productivity. In each year, the treatm.nts consisted of 3 × 5 factorial com.inations of three planting.dates (1st July, 7th July and 14th July) and five levels of N (0, 20, 40, 60 and 80 kg.ha) replicated three tim.s. The desig. of the experim.nt was a split-plot with the N fertilizer as the m.in plot and the planting.date assig.ed to sub plot. The results showed that, planting.kenaf in early (1st) July or N fertilization at the rate of 60 kg.ha increased plant density, stem.heig.t, stem.diam.ter, dry bast and core yields in both cropping.seasons.
