Nursing Diagnoses of the Domain Safety/Protection and Socioeconomic and Clinical Aspects of Critical Patients

Objective: The objective is to correlate the nursing diagnoses of the domain Safety/Protection of NANDA-I in critically ill patients with sociodemographic and clinical data. Method: A cross-sectional study with 86 individuals was conducted, from October 2013 to May 2014 in the Intensive Care Unit of a university hospital in northeastern Brazil, through a formal interview and physical examination. Results: It was possible to identify a total of 20 significant statistical associations, and 15 were clinically justified by the literature, namely: risk for aspiration and reason for admission;impaired dentition and age;risk for peripheral neurovascular dysfunction and sex and comorbidity;skin integrity and comorbidity;risk for impaired skin integrity and gender and reason for admission;impaired tissue integrity and gender and reason for admission;risk for perioperative positioning injury and reason for admission;risk for thermal injury and age and comorbidity;delayed surgical recovery and reason for admission;risk for poisoning and years of schooling;and risk for imbalanced body temperature and age. Conclusions: By understanding the relationship between customers’ answers and the sociodemographic and clinical profile, positive health outcomes can be achieved in particular in the prevention of risks facing vulnerability characteristics, providing greater safety and protection for the critical customer.

Market Dynamics in Maize Production in the North Region of Mozambique

In this article,a radiography of the agricultural sector is presented,specifically in the production of maize in the district of Malema,considering that the product is one of the most produced and consumed crops by the population in the province of *** agriculture productivity is attributed to inadequate access to production technology and inputs and to“weak”markets for agricultural products,due to poor infrastructure and inadequate access of agricultural producers to financial services(example credit).In general,several documents analyze on how small-scale agriculture has lacks of conditions,and factors necessary for high productivity and *** contrast,there is little information that gives an idea of the situation of agricultural maize production and existing agricultural markets and how this production and these markets are changing in Mozambique *** is,for example,a complete absence of references to large-scale investments in agriculture currently agreed with domestic and foreign trading *** to this omission,the author presents a partial analysis of the current context,and,therefore,it is not well explained how the greater investment can be directed to obtain greater use of productive technology and better access to the market,among small-scale *** seeks to analyze in more detail the situation“diagnosis”that is intended to be made on agriculture,specifically in the maize crop,and as a way to identify the specific aspects that can be considered starting points to work in the government intervention,in order to achieve the goals and increase agricultural productivity.

Objective:To identify the clinical characteristics and outcomes of hospital-acquired SARS-CoV-2 infection during the vaccination period nationwide in ***:COVID-19 patients followed in the pandemic services across Turkey between January 1,2021,and March 31,2022 were investigated *** COVID-19 was defined as a patient neither diagnosed with COVID-19 nor suspected COVID-19 at the hospital admission and was confirmed COVID-19≥5 days after hospital *** primary outcome of this study was in-hospital mortality;demographic features and vaccination status was compared between survivors and ***:During the study period,15573 COVID-19 patients were followed in 18 centers and 543(3.5%)patients were nosocomial *** patients with nosocomial COVID-19(80.4%)were transferred from medical wards.162(29.8%)of the patients with nosocomial COVID-19 admitted to the intensive care unit due to disease severity and 138(25.4%)of the patients died during hospital *** age(≥65 years)and number of comorbid diseases(≥2)was found to be associated with mortality in nosocomial COVID-19(OR 1.74,95%CI 1.11-2.74 and OR 1.60,95%CI 1.02-2.56,respectively).Vaccination was associated with survival in nosocomial COVID-19(OR 0.25,95%CI 0.16-0.38).Conclusions:Patients with nosocomial COVID-19 had increased admission to intensive care units and higher mortality *** can decrease the in-hospital mortality rate.

Electroantennograms (EAGs) responses were recorded from males and females of Iragoides fasciata Moore in response to a wide range of plant volatile compounds belonging to several chemical *** responses to 27 compounds were evaluated,which showed signi?cant differences in EAGs between chemicals as well as between *** fatty acid derivatives comprising essentially green leaf volatile components elicited signi?cantly greater responses in *** general,the antennae of males were more sensitive and responsed stronger to most of the *** responses to sesquiterpenes were lower in both males and ***-dependent response studies indicate differences in response between the sexes and concentrations,suggesting the existence of sexual *** belonging to the fatty acid derivatives class appear to be important clues in host plant selection by this oligophagous species.

ELI-Beamlines(ELI-BL),one of the three pillars of the Extreme Light Infrastructure endeavour,will be in a unique position to perform research in high-energy-density-physics(HEDP),plasma physics and ultra-high intensity(UHI)ð>10^(22) W=cm^(2)) lasereplasma *** the need for HED laboratory physics was identified and the P3(plasma physics platform)installation under construction in ELI-BL will be an *** ELI-BL 10 PW laser makes possible fundamental research topics from high-field physics to new extreme states of matter such as radiation-dominated ones,high-pressure quantum ones,warm dense matter(WDM)and ultra-relativistic *** is of fundamental importance for research in the field of laboratory astrophysics and inertial confinement fusion(ICF).Reaching such extreme states of matter now and in the future will depend on the use of plasma optics for amplifying and focusing laser *** article will present the relevant technological infrastructure being built in ELI-BL for HEDP and UHI,and gives a brief overview of some research under way in the field of UHI,laboratory astrophysics,ICF,WDM,and plasma optics.
