Advanced strategies for marine antifouling based on nanomaterial-enhanced functional PDMS coatings

Marine biofouling seriously affects human marine exploitation and transportation activities, to which marine antifouling(AF) coatings are considered to be the most cost-effective solution. Since the mid-20th century, human beings have dedicated their efforts on developing AF coatings with long cycle and high performance, leading to a large number of non-target organisms? distortion, death and marine environmental pollution. Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS), is considered as one of the representative environment-friendly AF materials thanks to its non-toxic, hydrophobic, low surface energy and AF properties. However, PDMS AF coatings are prone to mechanical damage, weak adhesion strength to substrate, and poor static AF effect, which seriously restrict their use in the ocean. The rapid development of various nanomaterials provides an opportunity to enhance and improve the mechanical properties and antifouling properties of PDMS coating by embedding *** on our research background and the problems faced in our laboratory, this article presents an overview of the current progress in the fields of PDMS composite coatings enhanced by different nanomaterials, with the discussion focused on the advantages and main bottlenecks currently encountered in this field. Finally, we propose an outlook, hoping to provide fundamental guidance for the development of marine AF field.

针对轨道缺陷检测系统因镜头抖动或相机快速移动而导致所采集图像较为模糊的问题,提出一种基于最大后验概率估计思想的映射空间编码的高速运动轨道图像去模糊算法。首先,该算法使用深度编解码器和残差网络分别对数据集中清晰图像到模糊图像的映射关系和模糊核进行编码,为了保证编码时频率信息的完整性,算法在传统的残差模块上引入快速傅里叶变换通道构成双通道残差网络,以补偿多次特征提取带来的频率损失;其次,算法采用深度图像先验(Deep image Prior,DiP)将潜在的清晰图像和模糊核进行参数化,再利用先验得到的模糊核和清晰图像来调用编码空间中的映射关系;最后,通过交替优化潜在的清晰图像和模糊核,从而去逼近一个真实未知的映射,进而实现真实场景下高速运动轨道图像的去模糊。实验结果表明,双通道残差模块提取的特征图频率信息分量强度普遍高于传统的残差模块,相较于使用传统残差模块实现该算法,采用双通道残差模块可使峰值信噪比(Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio,PSNR)提升0.84 dB,结构相似性(Structural Similarity,SSiM)提高0.025 1。与现有的深度学习去模糊算法相比,提出的去模糊算法对高速轨道检测系统所采集图像的去模糊效果更佳,在性能方面相较于最好的去模糊算法,PSNR提高了1.84 dB,SSiM提升了0.017 3,显著提升了采集图像的质量。研究结果可为下一步识别轨道部件是否存在缺陷提供清晰图像。

A rat model of multicompartmental traumatic injury and hemorrhagic shock induces bone marrow dysfunction and profound anemia

Background:Severe trauma is associated with systemic inflammation and organ *** rodent trauma models are the mainstay of postinjury research but have been criticized for not fully replicating severe human *** aim of this study was to create a rat model of multicompartmental injury which recreates profound traumatic ***:Male Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to unilateral lung contusion and hemorrhagic shock(lCHS),multicompartmental polytrauma(PT)(unilateral lung contusion,hemorrhagic shock,cecectomy,bifemoral pseudofracture),or na?ve ***,plasma toll-l ike receptor 4(TlR4),hemoglobin,spleen to body weight ratio,bone marrow(BM)erythroid progenitor(CFU-GeMM,BFU-e,and CFU-e)growth,plasma granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF)and right lung histologic injury were assessed on day 7,with significance defined as p valuesesults:Polytrauma resulted in markedly more profound inhibition of weight gain compared to lCHS(p=0.0002)along with elevated plasma TlR4(plower hemoglobin(penlarged spleen to body weight ratios(p=0.004).Both lCHS and PT demonstrated suppression of CFU-e and BFU-e growth compared to naive(plasma G-CSF was elevated in PT compared to both na?ve and lCHS(plCHS and PT demonstrated significant histologic right lung injury with poor alveolar wall integrity and interstitial ***:Multicompartmental injury as described here establishes a reproducible model of multicompartmental injury with worsened anemia,splenic tissue enlargement,weight loss,and increased inflammatory activity compared to a less severe *** may serve as a more effective model to recreate profound traumatic injury to replicate the human inflammatory response postinjury.

Paper Analytical Device for the Colourimetric Detection of Alkaline Phosphatase in Serum and Saliva

A paper analytical device (PAD) was developed for the colourimetric estimation of alkaline phosphatase (AlP). AlP catalyzes the hydrolysis of disodium phenyl phosphate (DSPP) to phenol, which then undergoes oxidative coupling with4-aminoantipyrine (4-AAP) producing a reddish brown-coloured quinone imine. The colourimetric reaction tested in solution has been translated onto a PAD for the point of care (PoC) testing of AlP. A uniform colour was obtained in 25 min with the introduction of AlP onto the reagent drop cast paper device. The images obtained by scanning the PAD were processed using imageJ software. The colour intensity obtained by image processing was proportional to the concentration of AlP present in the sample. AlP in serum and saliva samples were tested using the PAD in the range of 0 to 528 U/l and0 to 187 U/l, respectively. The interference studies revealed that the PAD was selective to AlP in the presence of other biomolecules. The PAD exhibited a limit of detection (lOD) of 3.3 U/l and a sensitivity of 48.36 a.u/log(U/l) for serum AlP and lOD of 1.69 U/l and a sensitivity of 28.5 a.u/log (U/l) for salivary AlP. The PAD showed good agreement with the clinical methods for real samples.
