In today’s manufacturing industries,hard competition between rival firms makes it compulsory for researchers to design lighter and cheaper machine components due to the megatrends of cost-effectiveness and anti-pollution.At this point,aluminum syntactic foams(ASFs)are new-generation engineering composites and come into the upfront as a problem-solver.Owing to their features like low density,sufficient elongation,and perfect energy absorption ability,these advanced foams have been considerably seductive for many industrial sectors nowadays.In this study,an industrial-oriented automatic die casting technology was used for the first time to manufacture the combination of AA7075/porous expanded clay(PEC).Micro evaluations(optical and FESEM)reveal that there is a homogenous particle distribution in the foam samples,and inspections are compatible with the other ASF studies.Additionally,T6 aging heat treatment was operated on one half of the produced foams to explore the probable impact of aging on the compressive responses.Attained results show that PEC particles can be an alternative to expensive hollow spheres used in the previous works.Besides,a favorable relationship is ascertained between the aging treatment and mechanical properties such as compression strength and plateau strength.

欧亚草原腹地作为连接东西方文明的陆地走廊,不仅汇集了农耕、绿洲型社会的民间文学精粹,还孕育出游牧人群多彩纷呈的口头传统。在漫长的历史进程中,相较于书写体系完善的前者而言,草原游牧人群的历史、文化及民俗等人文知识的交流与传递则主要通过口头形式完成。阿肯阿依特斯是活态流传于中国、哈萨克斯坦以及蒙古国哈萨克族民间的一种即兴口头对唱艺术,它是集歌手(阿肯)的即兴创编、音乐天赋、雄辩口才等多重技艺于一身,融合了歌谣、谜语、传说等多种口头文学体裁特征的综合性口头艺术,也被称为“语词的竞技”。相较于史诗、神话、民间故事等口头文学体裁,阿肯阿依特斯的交流属性更为显著,这种交流属性既体现于表演场域,也体现在演唱文本创编的全过程。阿肯阿依特斯作为以交流为中心的民俗事件,在活态表演语境下探讨其表演场域和文本创编中的交互特点,挖掘阿肯阿依特斯作为“语词的竞技”之本真属性,突破既有以文本内容和修辞手段为对象的研究范式,对于深入理解和研究东西方口头对唱艺术而言,具有一定的前沿性和创新性。

In recent years,metal matrix syntactic foams(MMSFs)have become highly attractive owing to their unique physical,microstructural and mechanical features.Due to their promising potential for different industrial areas like automotive,aviation,and defense,these advanced engineering materials can also be evaluated as serious alternatives to particle reinforced metallic composites and conventional metallic foams.Differently from previously reported laboratory scaled techniques in the literature,this experimental effort focuses on the feasibility of MMSF manufacturing via a fully automated and industrial-based cold chamber die casting technique.Accordingly,1-2 mm,2-4 mm,and bimodal(50vol.%)natural-based pumice filled aluminum syntactic foams were manufactured utilizing a purpose-made casting machine.Physical,macroscopic,and microscopic examinations show that all of the fabricated samples display perfect matrix/filler harmony.Average density levels of fabricated syntactic foams range between 1.50 and 1.80 g·cm^(-3) depending upon the pumice particles size interval.To assess mechanical responses,quasi-static compression tests were performed.Furthermore,half of the foam samples were subjected to heat treatment to explore possible influences of aging on the compressive features and damage modes.Results indicate that although the heat treatment enhances the compressive strength,plateau stress,and energy absorption properties of the fabricated foams,it changes damage mode of the samples by causing brittle dominant deformation.

Biodiesel is one of the most popular prospective alternative fuels and can be obtained from a variety of sources. Waste frying oil is one such source along with the various raw vegetable oils. However, some specific technical treatments are required to improve certain fuel properties such as viscosity and calorific value of the biodiesel being obtained from waste cooking oil methyl ester （WCOME）. Various treatments are applied depending on the source and therefore the composition of the cooking oil. This research investigated the performance of WCOME as an alternative biofuel in a four-stroke direct injection diesel engine. An 8-mode test was undertaken with diesel fuel and five WCOME blends. The best compromise blend in terms of performance and emissions was identified. Results showed that energy utilization factors of the blends were similar within the range of the operational parameters （speed, load and WCOME content）. Increasing biodiesel content produced slightly more smoke and nOx for a great majority of test points, while the CO and THC emissions were lower.

Background:A new candidate vector vaccine against human brucellosis based on recombinant influenza viral vectors(rIVV)subtypes H5n1 expressing Brucella outer membrane protein(Omp)16,L7/L12,Omp19or Cu-Zn SOD proteins has been developed.This paper presents the results of the study of protection of the vaccine using on guinea pigs,including various options of administering,dose and frequency.Provided data of the novel vaccine candidate will contribute to its further movement into the preclinical stage study.Methods:General states of guinea pigs was assessed based on behavior and dynamics of a guinea pig weight-gain test.The effectiveness of the new anti-brucellosis vector vaccine was determined by studying its protective effect after conjunctival,intranasal and sublingual administration in doses 10^(5) EID50,10^(6) EID_(50) and 10^(7) EID_(50) during prime and boost vaccinations of animals,followed by challenge with a virulent strain of B.melitensis 16 M infection.For sake of comparison,the commercial ft melitensis Rev.1 vaccine was used as a control.The protective properties of vaccines were assessed by quantitation of Brucella colonization in organs and tissues of infected animals and compared to the control groups.Results:It was observed a gradual increase in body weight of guinea pigs after prime and booster immunization with the vacci ne using conjunctival,intra nasal and subli ngual routes of administration,as well as after using various doses of vaccine.The most optimal way of using the vaccine has been established:double intranasal immunization of guinea pigs at a dose of 10^(6) EID50, which provides 80%protection of guinea pigs from B.melitensis 16 M infection(Pn ess of the commercial B.melitensis Rev.1 vacci ne.Conclusions:We developed effective human vaccine candidate against brucellosis and developed its immunization protocol in guinea pig model.We believe that because of these studies,the proposed vaccine has achieved the best level of protectio

Leiomyosarcoma is a rare form of cancer commonly found in the retroperitoneum, uterus, stomach, small intestine and vascular tissue. Surgery with a wide margin of resection is the most effective treatment. nevertheless, metastasis is common and generally occurs within the first 3 years. The liver and lungs are the most common sites of metastasis in leiomyosarcoma. Other sites of metastasis include bone, spleen, soft tissues and brain. Metastatic tumours of the clitoris are extremely rare. As cited in the literature, the most common cancers that metastasize to the clitoris are breast, bladder, renal and gastric. Here, we report a case of a clitoral mass in a 64-year-old woman who received an operation for retroperitoneal leiomyosarcoma 4 years prior. Mass resection was performed. The pathological diagnosis was a leiomyosarcoma metastasis. The patient also presented with brain and lung metastases at the time of the clitoral metastasis. This is the first case of clitoral and brain metastases originating from a retroperitoneal leiomyosarcoma.

Association of ezrin expression in intestinal and diffuse gastric carcinoma with clinicopathological parameters and tumor type

AIM: To investigate the correlation between ezrin expression and types of gastric carcinoma and clinicopathological variables. METHODS: We examined ezrin protein expression in 75 gastric carcinoma (53 intestinal types of adenocarcinoma, 22 diffuse types of carcinoma) tissues by immunohistochemistry. The results were compared with clinicopathological parameters such as tumor type, grade of tumor, clinical stage, presence of metastatic lymph node, and depth of invasion. RESULTS: Ezrin immunostaining was positive in 43 cases (81.1%) of intestinal type and in 9 (40.9%) cases of diffuse type adenocarcinomas (P n gastric carcinomas, the expression of ezrin protein correlated with the status of H pylori and survival. There was no correlation between expression of ezrin with TnM stage and histological grade of gastric carcinomas (P > 0.05). COnCLUSIOn: The low expression of ezrin implicates the loss of adhesion in diffuse carcinomas. Furthermore, overexpression of ezrin in carcinomas with H pylori infection may be a genuine specific pathway in which H pylori may cause/initiate gastric carcinoma.

研究具有相同Mo质量分数(12%)的Ti12Mo和Ti60Ta合金以及当前常用的Cp-Ti金属生物材料在牙科应用中的电化学行为。采用电化学方法,在37°C下,研究样品在人工唾液以及加氟人工唾液(含0.1%F)两种电化学媒质中的电化学性能,如开路电位、动电位极化曲线和电化学阻抗。在牙膏、牙科凝胶和牙科冲洗等方面,通常含有氟化物以防止龋齿和缓解牙齿敏感。观察在两种媒质中所有钛合金样品的电化学行为,结果表明:在两种电化学媒质中,Ti60Ta合金具有比Ti12Mo和Cp-Ti更优异的抗腐蚀性能。

The paper deals with the non-local modification of kinetic Smoluchowski equation for binary coagulation. The main goal of the work is to remove the certain supposition inherent in the known kinetic equations of aggregation. This supposition consists in that speed of evolution of certain order clusters is usually supposed to be a function of the product of concentrations of the lowest orders clusters during the same moment. However, it stands for instant formation of the cluster at the moment of interaction of its components. The new form of kinetic equation for aggregation is derived on the base of the transfer kernels approach presented in our previous works. This approach allows considering the influence of relaxation times hierarchy on kinetics of aggregation process. Some results of the theoretical analysis and numerical experiments according to the model are submitted too.
