This study is aimed at developing a methodology to assess and quantify the human limb motions and interactions with the exoskeleton in relation to *** different basic and common upper arm joint movements and their interaction with a joint-based exoskeleton are considered:shoulder vertical and horizontal abduction-adduction,and elbow *** exoskeleton and the human model are aligned to the respective joints inside a Musculoskeletal Modeling *** the range of motion,the linear and angular displacement errors were analyzed,and the effect of those errors on the length of the associated tendons was *** have shown a noticeable variation of the muscle-tendon lengths up to 65.7 mm and a change in the pattern on different muscle groups of the ***,about 4 mm muscle-tendon length changes observed particularly at the elbow anconeus *** changes of length could cause unwanted stresses at the joints,specially for people with disabilities due to stroke that might not have the flexibility to accommodate those extra pose variations imposed by the exoskeleton.

The Piedemonte Llanero Basin is located on the eastern side of the Eastern Cordillera of the Colombian *** has been the subject of numerous geological studies carried out for the oil sector,*** study presents the coalpetrographical features of 15 coal seams of four geological formations from Late Cretaceous to Middle Miocene(Chipaque formation,Palmichal group,Arcillas del Limbo formation,and San Fernando formation).Analysis of 33 samples indicates enrichment in vitrinite,while liptinite and inertinite concentrations vary according to the stratigraphic *** indicates that the coal range gradually decreases from highly volatile bituminous C(Chipaque formation)to subbituminous C(San Fernando formation).The microlithotypes with the highest concentrations are clarite and *** composition and coal facies indicate changes in the depositional conditions of the *** precursor peat from Late Cretaceous to Late Paleocene accumulated under limnic conditions followed by telmatic in Late Eocene-Early *** coal facies indices show wet conditions in forest swamps with variations in the flooding surface,influxes of brackish water and good tissue *** tectonic conditions along the Piedemonte Llanero basin is evident,from post-rift to foreland basin,evidenced by oxic and anoxic periods reflected in the maceral composition and its *** coal environment corresponds to an estuarine system started in the Chipaque formation evolving to the lacustrine conditions in the San Fernando formation.

Human-agent societies refer to applications where virtual agents and humans coexist and interact transparently into a fully integrated environment. One of the most important aspects in this kind of applications is including emotional states of the agents(humans or not) in the decision-making process. In this sense, this paper presents the applicability of the JaCalIVE(Jason Cartago implemented intelligent virtual environment) framework for developing this kind of society. Specifically, the paper presents an ambient intelligence application where humans are immersed into a system that extracts and analyzes the emotional state of a human group. A social emotional model is employed to try to maximize the welfare of those humans by playing the most appropriate music in every moment.

The two-point central difference is a common algorithm in biological signal processing and is particularly useful in analyzing physiological *** this paper,we develop a model-based classification method to detect epileptic seizures that relies on this algorithm to filter electroencephalogram(EEG) *** underlying idea was to design an EEG filter that enhances the waveform of epileptic *** filtered signal was fitted to a quadratic linear-parabolic model using the curve fitting *** model fitting was assessed using four statistical parameters,which were used as classification features with a random forest algorithm to discriminate seizure and non-seizure *** proposed method was applied to 66 epochs from the Children Hospital Boston *** showed that the method achieved fast and accurate detection of epileptic seizures,with a92% sensitivity,96% specificity,and 94.1% accuracy.

The addition of Au3. to spherical amine-capped CdSe@ZnS nanoparticles in toluene at room temperature and under darkness can lead to ternary CdSe@ZnS/Au nanohybrids. We demonstrate that this happens only when the nanoparticles possess a relatively thin ZnS shell, thus showing that thickness plays a key role in gold deposition on the CdSe@ZnS nanoparticle surface. Our hypothesis is that the amine ligand acts as the reductant of Au3＋ ions into Au＋ ions, whose affinity for sulfur would keep them at the CdSe@ZnS surface. This interaction stabilizes the Au＋ ion, making it less prone to reduction than a non-coordinated Au＋ ion. In CdSe@ZnS with a thin shell, Au＋ ions at the surface of, or most probably within, the ZnS shell cause the transfer of Cd2＋ ions into the solution. Subsequently, the core Se2- anion, which is a better reductant than the shell S2- reduces Au＋ ions to Au（0）, and large gold nanoparticles （AuNPs） are quickly deposited on the CdSe@ZnS surface in room temperature process, leading to ternary CdSe@ZnS/Au nanohybrids. In solution, these ternary nanohybrids progressively transform into quaternary CdSe@ZnS/Au2S/Au nanohybrids due to the reaction of the shell S2- anion with the remaining Au＋ at the CdSe@ZnS surface, thus leading to the growth of Au2S nanoparticles on the CdSe@ZnS surface while Zn concomitantly leaches from the nanohybrid into the solution. Photoirradiation of the heterostructures with visible light enhances their emission efficiency. Comparatively, irradiation of the precursors, i.e., CdSe@ZnS nanoparticles, causes a drastic decrease in their emission accompanied by a blue shift of their emission maximum. The optical properties of these nanohybrids were analyzed by absorption and fluorescence （steady-state and time-resolved） spectroscopy, and the composition of the samples and the chemical states were determined by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, respectively. In Spain, the historical context of the sixties was experienced as a particularly changing one. Gone were the post-war years, and with them the autarchy, poverty and famine, characteristics of that time. After a transitory fifties decade, the country entered a prosperous time, which is known as the develompentism sixties--desarrollismo. The franscoism itself promoted this change. Meanwhile, it became a mandatory to guide the population so the fostered modem life did not imply, among other issues, an abandonment of the traditional gender order. Popular cinema played a key role in that objective. Particularly tourism narratives had direct implications on the renewed way to understand gender identities. In this article we will approach two blockbusters, as representative examples of the mainstream films productions, through which analyse how masculinity and femininity were screened and considered.

This study examines the pricing of municipal bonds before and after a currency shock in *** approaches are used to decompose the municipal to treasuries bond spreads into liquidity,maturity,and default risk *** first approach is the model of the cross-sectional instrumental variables,and the second approach is the model of the instrumental variables with panel *** study examines the composition of spreads for both approaches,in three scenarios:before,throughout,and after the currency *** study performed Durbin-Wu-Hausman tests for each decisive model to verify endogeneity issues,including the Lagrangian Multiplier test,the Cragg-Donald Wald F statistic to confirm the relationship of instrumental and endogenous variables,and the structural break test(Bai-Perron test)to determine the existence of structural breaks in bond *** study finds that the currency price distortions of the Swiss franc in January 2015 made long-run changes in the composition of the municipal bond *** research contributes to the understanding of municipal bond pricing by showing that default risk accounts for a large portion of the municipal bond spread,while maturity risk plays a lesser *** to our empirical findings,unexpected large currency price shocks may have long-term implications on the municipal bond spreads.
