Soursop(Annona muricata L.)is a tropical fruit highly valued for its uniqueﬂavor,nutritional value,and health-promoting *** ripening process of soursop involves complex change. in gene expression and metabo-lite accumulation,which have been studied using various omics *** analysis has provided insights into the regulation of key genes involved in ripening,while metabolic compound analysis has revealed the presence of numerous bioactive compounds with potential health beneﬁ***,the integration of transcrip-tome and metabolite compound data has not been extensively explored in ***,in this paper,we present a comprehensive analysis of the transcriptome and phenolic compound proﬁles of soursop during *** integration analysis showed that the genes and phenolic compounds were mainly involved in the starch and sucrose metabolism pathways during soursop ***,the phenolic compounds Kaempferol 3-Q-galactoside,Procyanidin C1,Procyanidin trimmer C1,and m-Coumaric,as well as the genes Ubiquitin-like protein 5(UBL5_ARATH),ATP-dependent zinc metalloprotease FTSH8(FTSH8_ORYSJ),Zinc transporter 4(ZIP4_AR-ATH),Thioredoxin-like 3-1(TRL31_ORYSJ),Mitogen-activated protein kinase YOdA(YOdA_ARATH),R-man-delonitrile lyase-like(MGL_ARATH),26s protease regulatory subunit 6A homolog(PRS6_SOLLC),Cytochrome P45072A13(C7A13ARATH),Cytochrome P45084A1(C84A1_ARATH)and Homoserine O-trans-acetylase(MeT2-ORYSJ)were correlated and differentially accumulated and expressed,*** study provides new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying soursop ripening and may contribute to the development of strategies for improving the nutritional quality and shelf life of this important fruit.

estimation of rainfall thresholds for shallow landslides in the Sierra Madre Oriental, northeastern Mexico

Landslides induced by prolonge. rainfalls are frequent mass movements along the northeastern portion of the Sierra Madre Oriental in Mexico,causing significant damage to *** this work,we have studied the connection between rainfall and landslides in the Santa Rosa Canyon,a catchment located in the northeastern Mexico.A landslide database triggered by major storms and hurricanes that have hit the region over the past 30 years was analyzed.A total of 92 rainfall events in the Santa Rosa Canyon were studied to determine the amount of precipitation needed to trigger shallow *** each event the duration(d,in hours)and the cumulated rainfall event(e,in mm)were determined by using historical rainfall data from weather stations located near the study *** have proposed an ed threshold for rainfall-induced landslides with durations 0.5dddress the conditions that trigger these events in the study *** analyzing the obtained threshold,it has been established that almost 60 mm of a daily rainfall accumulation is required to trigger shallow landslides in the study *** estimation is consistent with other calculations made for areas close to the Santa Rosa ***,we validated the predictive capability of the threshold with a different set of rainfall data that did not result in landslides performing a straightforward receiver operating characteristic analysis.A good approach was obtained,especially for rainfall events with daily *** could be used as input information in the design of a landslide early warning system for the northeastern Mexico,and replicated for other landslide prone areas in the region.

Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Albumin as a Reducing Agent

The preparation of stable, uniformed silver nanoparticles by the reduction of silver ions using albumin is reported in the present paper. It is a simple process for obtaining silver nanoparticles. The samples have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRd) and transmission electron microscopy (TeM), which reveal the nature of the nanoparticles. These studies conclude that the particles are mostly spherical in shape and have an average size of 26 nm. The UV-vis spectra show that an absorption band, occurred because of the Surface Plasmon Resonance, existing at 443 nm;the Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) shows that only 2% of the weight is organic matter. The average particle size was measured with a Nanosizer dLS.

Aggregation Study of Ag-TiO_(2) Composites

Most of the toxicity data presented in the literature are obtained in relatively simple media, like distilled water. The literature reported that nanoparticles agglomerate immediately upon being added to cell culture media and if the agglomerates are used directly in antimicrobial studies, the interpretation of the toxicity results tends to be complicated. Six different molar ratios Ag-TiO2 composites were synthesized by a reduction method using two different commercial TiO2 particles as base materials and were used to find the aggregate size in distilled water and Mueller-Hinton Broth, and to obtain the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) against e. coli and e. faecalis. To evaluate the evolution of the Ag-TiO2 particle size (z-average) three dilutions of each of the synthesized composites 100 μg/ml, 250 μg/mL and 500 μg/ml were realized in deionized water and Mueller Hinton broth. It was found that Ag-TiO2 composites increased in size after being diluted in Mueller-Hinton Broth, but once they grew in size, they remained constant for 24 minutes, and after this time, did not affect the MIC for the microorganisms involved.

Previous studies have proposed that both the thermospheric neutral wind and the equatorial electrojet(eeJ)near sunset play important roles in the pre-reversal enhancement(PRe)*** this study,we have used observations made in the equatorial region of Southeast Asia during March–April and September–October in 2010–2013 to investigate influences of the eastward neutral wind and the eeJ on the PRe’s *** analysis employs data collected by the Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation explorer(GOCe)satellite to determine the zonal(east-west direction)neutral wind at an altitude of~250 km(bottomside F region)at longitudes of 90°–130°e in the dusk *** ionosondes,at Chumphon(dip lat.:3.0°N)in Thailand,at Bac Lieu(dip lat.:1.7°N)in Vietnam,and at Cebu(dip lat.:3.0°N)in Philippines,provided the data we have used to derive the PRe *** from two magnetometers—at Phuket(dip lat.:0.1°S)in Thailand and at Kototabang(dip lat.:10.3°S)in Indonesia—were used to estimate the eeJ *** study is focused particularly on days with magnetically quiet *** have found that the eastward neutral wind and the eeJ are both closely correlated with the PRe;their cross-correlation coefficients with it are,respectively,0.42 and *** relationship with each other is weaker:the cross-correlation coefficient between the eastward neutral wind and the eeJ is just *** findings suggest that both the eastward neutral wind and the eeJ near sunset are involved in the PRe *** on the weak relationship between these two parameters,however,they appear to be significantly independent of each ***,the wind and the eeJ are likely to be influencing the PRe magnitude independently,their effects balancing each other.
