Cathodoluminescence (CL) image analysis of zircon is a key step of mineral micro-area compositional investigation and U-(Th)-Pb dating. We introduce a system consisting of field emission ESEM and high performance cathodoluminescence. This system has obvious advantages in imaging resolution and CL spectrum. We acquired some zircon CL images and spectra to demonstrate the ability of this system. Our results show that this system has a great potential application to characterize and identify the genesis of zircon.

P-and SV-wave dispersion and attenuation have been extensively investigated in saturated poroelastic media with aligned ***,there are few existing models that incorporate the multiple wave attenuation mechanisms from the microscopic scale to the macroscopic ***,in this work,we developed a unified model to incorporate the wave attenuation mechanisms at different scales,which includes the microscopic squirt flow between the microcracks and pores,the mesoscopic wave-induced fluid flow between fractures and background(FB-WIFF),and the macroscopic Biot's global flow and elastic scattering(ES)from the *** Tang's modified Biot's theory and the mixed-boundary conditions,we derived the exact frequency-dependent solutions of the scattering problem for a single penny-shaped fracture with oblique incident P-and *** then developed theoretical models for a set of aligned fractures and randomly oriented fractures using the Foldy *** results indicated that microcrack squirt flow considerably influences the dispersion and attenuation of P-and SV-wave *** coupling effects of microcrack squirt flow with the FB-WIFF and ES of fractures cause much higher velocity dispersion and attenuation for P waves than for SV *** oriented fractures substantially reduce the attenuation caused by the FB-WIFF and ES,particularly for the ES attenuation of SV *** a comparison with existing models in the limiting cases and previous experimental measurements,we validated our model.

Cu_(2)Te-based materials are a type of superionic conductor belonging to the class of phonon-liquid elec-tron-crystal materials and have achieved high ZT values by doping and ***,it is easy to form copper vacancies in Cu_(2)Te which leads to an excessive carrier concentration and then results in a low Seebeck ***,controlling copper ion migration and optimizing carrier concen-tration is essential to improve the thermoelectric performance of Cu_(2)*** paper reports high-performance Cu_(2)TeeAg_(2)Te composite with high application value in the low-middle temperature re-gion,which is achieved by fine tuning the carrier concentration using Fe addition and non-stoichiometric Te,as well as controlling the thermal conductivity of composite.A high ZT of~1.2 is obtained in AgCu_(0.97)Fe_(0.03)Te_(0.96)at a low temperature of 573 ***,the phase transition mechanism of Cu_(2)TeeAg_(2)Te and its effect on the thermoelectric transport performance are revealed that go beyond nanostructuring and single-doping,which provides a strong theoretical basis for research and perfor-mance improvement of thermoelectric materials in this system.

Microscopes are indispensable tools in modern biology and medicine. With the development of microscopy, the signal-tonoise ratio of microscopes is now limited by the shot noise. Recently, quantum-enhanced microscopic imaging provides a feasible approach for improving the signal-to-noise ratio since it can beat the shot-noise limit by using quantum light. In this review, we first briefly introduce quantum states applied in quantum-enhanced microscopic imaging, and then we provide an overview of the principle and progress of quantum-enhanced stimulated Raman scattering microscopy, entangled twophoton microscopy,and quantum-enhanced differential interference contrast microscopy.

This study investigates the friction and deformation behavior of the skin in contact with a rigid massage ball and its influencing *** and stretching experiments were conducted using a collaborative robot experimental *** experiments encompassed a loading normal force range of 2 N to 18 N and a sliding speed range of 10 mm/s to 20 mm/*** friction response curve exhibits two different stages:static stick state and dynamic stick-slip stage,both of which have been mathematically *** analyzing the experimental data,we analyzed the effects of elastic modulus,sliding speed and normal loading force on skin tangential friction and tensile *** results indicate that as the normal load increases,both friction and deformation exhibit an ***,they decrease with an increase in elastic ***,while deformation diminishes with higher sliding speed,friction force remains relatively unaffected by *** observation can be attributed to the strain rate sensitivity resulting from the viscoelastic characteristics of the skin under substantial *** study advances the understanding of friction and deformation behavior during skin friction,offering valuable insights to enhance the operational comfort of massage robots.

Relationship between postoperative rehabilitation style, gastrointestinal function, and inflammatory factor levels in children with intussusception

BACKGROUND Intussusception occurs in children and progresses *** not treated in time,it may lead to secondary complications such as intestinal perforation,which affect the quality of life and health of *** is the most common clinical treatment and has a good ***,the postoperative prognosis of children with intussusception has a correlation with the postoperative rehabilitation ***,in this study,we explored the relationship between postopera-tive rehabilitation,gastrointestinal function,and the expression of inflammatory factors in children with *** medical records of 18 children who were admitted to our hospital for intussusception surgery between October 2022 and May 2024 were retrospectively *** patients were divided into the routine nursing group(n=6)and rehabilitation training group(n=12)according to the postoperative rehabilitation *** general data,gastrointestinal function,and inflammatory factor levels of the two groups were statistically *** correlation analysis of gastrointestinal function,inflammatory factors,and postoperative rehabil-itation was *** We found no significant intergroup differences in sex,age,or disease course(P>0.05).The times to first defecation,bowel sound recovery,and anal exhaust were shorter and inflammatory factor levels were lower in the rehabilitation training group than in the routine nursing group(Plin levels were positively correlated with postoperative rehabilitation(Plitation(P<0.05).Gastrointestinal function was positively correlated(P<0.05),and levels of inflammatory factors were negatively correlated with postoperative recovery time(P<0.05).CONCLUSION We found a positive correlation between gastrointe

We address the 1-line minimum Steiner tree of line segments(1L-MStT-LS)***,given a set S of n disjoint line segments in R^(2),we are asked to find the location of a line l and a set E_(l) of necessary line segments(i.e.,edges)such that a graph consisting of all line segments in S ∪ E_(l) plus this line l,denoted by T_(l)=(S,l,E_(l)),becomes a Steiner tree,the objective is to minimize total length of edges in E_(l) among all such Steiner ***,we are asked to find a set E_(0) of necessary edges such that a graph consisting of all line segments in S ∪ E_(0),denoted by T_(S)=(S,E_(0)),becomes a Steiner tree,the objective is to minimize total length of edges in E_(0) among all such Steiner trees,we refer to this new problem as the minimum Steiner tree of line segments(MStT-LS)*** addition,when two endpoints of each edge in Eo need to be located on two different line segments in S,respectively,we refer to that problem as the minimum spanning tree of line segments(MST-LS)*** obtain three main results:(1)Using technique of Voronoi diagram of line segments,we design an exact algorithm in time O(n log n)to solve the MST-LS problem;(2)we show that the algorithm designed in(1)is a 1.214-approximation algorithm to solve the MStT-LS problem;(3)using the combination of the algorithm designed in(1)as a subroutine for many times,a technique of finding linear facility location and a key lemma proved by techniques of computational geometry,we present a 1.214-approximation algorithm in time O(n^(3) log n)to solve the 1L-MStT-LS problem.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the analgesic effects of total flavonoids of Longxuejie(Resina Dracaenae Cochinchinensis)(TFDB) and explore the possible analgesic mechanism associated with transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1).METHODS: Whole-cell patch clamp technique was used to observe the effects of TFDB on capsaicin-induced TRPV1 currents. Rat experiments in vivo were used to observe the analgesic effects of TFDB. Western blot and immunofluorescence experiments were used to test the change of TRPV1 expression in DRG neurons induced by ***: Results showed that TFDB inhibited capsaicin-induced TRPV1 receptor currents in acutely isolated dorsal root ganglion(DRG) neurons of rats and the half inhibitory concentration was(16.7 ± 1.6) mg/***(2-20 mg/kg) showed analgesic activity in the phase Ⅱ of formalin test and(0.02-2 mg per paw)reduced capsaicin-induced licking times of rats. TFDB(20 mg/kg) was fully efficacious on complete Freund's adjuvant(CFA)-induced inflammatory thermal hyperalgesia and capsaicin could weaken the analgesic effects. The level of TRPV1 expressions of DRG neurons was also decreased in TFDB-treated CFA-inflammatory pain ***: All these results indicated that the analgesic effect of TFDB may contribute to their modulations on both function and expression of TRPV1 channels in DRG neurons.
