Zonal propagation of kinetic energy (KE) and convection in the South China Sea (SCS) and Indian summer monsoon areas are examined in present study. Results suggest that the SCS and Indian summer monsoon prevailed regions (5 —15°n) are dominated by the southwesterly wind, however, the disturbances of KE at 850 hPa and convection are observed mainly coming from the western Pacific Ocean (140—150°E), after passing through the SCS, and westward propagated into the Bay of Bengal (90—100°E). In the Indian summer monsoon domain, where the disturbances of KE are found mainly coming from the Arabian Sea (AS) and eastward propagated into the Bay of Bengal. Therefore, the SCS and the Indian summer mon- soon are quite different in zonal propagation of KE and convection. The SCS summer monsoon is mainly affected by the KE and convection coming from the tropical western Pacific. The Indian summer monsoon, however, can be partly influenced by the AS and the SCS summer monsoon. The analysis also suggests that the interaction region between the SCS and the Indian summer monsoon is around 90—95°E, rather than 105°E as proposed by earlier studies.

The Sanchazi mafic-ultramafic complex in Mianlüe tectonic zone,South Qinling can be subdivided into two blocks,*** paleo-magmatic arc and Zhuangkegou paleo-oceanic crust fragment (ophiolite).The Sanchazi paleo-magmatic arc is mainly composed of ande-site,basaltic and basalt-andesitic gabbro(or diorite),andesitic dyke,plagiogranite and minor ul-tramafric rocks,which have typical geochemical features of island arc volcanic rocks,such as high field strength element(***,Ti)depletions and lower Cr,ni *** Light rare earth element (LREE) and K enrichments of these rocks and zircon xenocrystals of 900 Ma from plagiogranite suggest that this magmatic arc was developed on the South active continental margin of the South Qinling *** U-Pb age of (3.0±61) Ma for zircons from plagiogranite in-dicates that the Mianlüe paleo-oceanic crust was probably subducted underneath the South Qinling micro-continent in *** is consistent with the formation time (3.9Ma) of the Huwan eclogite originating form oceanic subduction in Dabie Mountains,suggesting that the Mianlüe paleo-ocean probably extended eastward to the Dabie Mountains in *** high-Mg adakitic rocks in Sanchazi paleo-magmatic arc suggest thet the subducted oceanic crust was relatively young (nd hot.

The ability to predict the future behavior of solar activity has become extremely import due to its effect on the environment near the Earth. Predictions of both the amplitude and timing of the next solar cycle will assist in estimating the various consequences of space weather. The level of solar activity is usually expressed by in- ternational sunspot number （Rz）. Several prediction techniques have been applied and have achieved varying degrees of success in the domain of solar activity prediction. We predict a solar index （Rz） in solar cycle 24 by using a neural network method. The neural network technique is used to analyze the time series of solar activity. According to our predictions of yearly sunspot number, the maximum of cycle 24 will occur in the year 2013.and will have an annual mean sunspot number of 65. Finally, we discuss our results in order to compare them with other suggested predictions.

We introduce a novel neural network structure called strongly constrained theory-guided neural network(SCTgnn), to investigate the behaviour of the localized solutions of the generalized nonlinear Schr?dinger(nLS) equation. This equation comprises four physically significant nonlinear evolution equations, namely, the nLS, Hirota, Lakshmanan–Porsezian–Daniel and fifth-order nLS equations. The generalized nLS equation demonstrates nonlinear effects up to quintic order, indicating rich and complex dynamics in various fields of physics. By combining concepts from the physics-informed neural network and theory-guided neural network(Tgnn)models, the SCTgnn aims to enhance our understanding of complex phenomena, particularly within nonlinear systems that defy conventional patterns. To begin, we employ the Tgnn method to predict the behaviour of localized waves, including solitons, rogue waves and breathers, within the generalized nLS equation. We then use the SCTgnn to predict the aforementioned localized solutions and calculate the mean square errors in both the SCTgnn and Tgnn in predicting these three localized solutions. Our findings reveal that both models excel in understanding complex behaviour and provide predictions across a wide variety of situations.
