High-Temperature Stability of Mg-1Al-12Y Alloy Containing LPSO Phase and Mechanism of Its Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC)Effect

In this study,the high-temperature stability and the generation mechanism of the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC)effect in solid-solution Mg-1Al-12Y alloy with different heat treatment processes were investigated by adjusting the content of long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)*** was found that the content of LPSO phases in the alloys differed the most after heat treatment at 53.℃for 16 h and 24 h,with values of 13.56%and 3.93.***,high-temperature tensile experiments were conducted on these two alloys at temperatures of 150℃,200℃,250℃,and 3.0℃.The results showed that both alloys exhibited the PLC effect at temperatures ranging from 150 to 250℃.However,at a temperature 3.0℃,only the alloy with a greater concentration of LPSO phases exhibited the PLC effect,whereas the alloy with a lower proportion of LPSO phases did not exhibit this ***,both alloys exhibited remarkable high-temperature stability,with the alloy containing a greater percentage of LPSO phases also demonstrating superior *** underlying mechanism for this phenomenon lies in the exceptional high-temperature stability exhibited by the second phase within the ***,the LPSO phase effectively obstructs the movement of dislocations,and it also undergoing kinking to facilitate plastic deformation of the *** results indicate that the PLC effect can be suppressed by reducing dislocation pile-up at grain boundaries,which leads to a decrease in alloy plasticity but an increase in *** presence of the PLC effect in the WA121 alloy is attributed to the abundant dispersed second phase within the alloy,which initially hinders the movement of dislocations,leading to an increase in stress,and subsequently releases the dislocations,allowing them to continue their movement and thereby reducing in stress.

Inversion of Seabed Geotechnical Properties in the Arctic Chukchi Deep Sea Basin Based on Time Domain Adaptive Search Matching Algorithm

The chirp sub-bottom profiler,for its high resolution,easy accessibility and cost-effectiveness,has been widely used in acoustic *** this paper,the acoustic impedance and grain size compositions were obtained based on the chirp sub-bottom profiler data collected in the Chukchi Plateau area during the 11th Arctic Expedition of *** time-domain adaptive search matching algorithm was used and validated on our established theoretical *** misfit between the inversion result and the theoretical model is less than 0.067%.The grain size was calculated according to the empirical relationship between the acoustic impedance and the grain size of the *** average acoustic impedance of sub-seafloor strata is 2.5026×10^(6) kg(s m^(2))^(-1)and the average grain size(θvalue)of the seafloor surface sediment is 7.1498,indicating the predominant occurrence of very fine silt sediment in the study *** of the inversion results and the laboratory measurements of nearby borehole samples shows that they are in general agreement.

Hot Deformation Behavior and Workability of a New Ni–W–Cr Superalloy for Molten Salt Reactors

The hot deformation behavior of a newly developed Ni–W–Cr superalloy for use in 800℃molten salt reactors(MSRs)was looked into by isothermal compression tests in the temperature range of 1050–1200℃with a strain rate of 0.001–1 s^(−1)under a true strain of *** Arrhenius-type model for the Ni–W–Cr superalloy was constructed by fitting the corrected flow stress *** this model,the effect of dispersion of solid solution elements during thermal deformation on microstructure evolution was considered,as well as the effects of friction and adiabatic heating on the temperature and strain rate-dependent variation of flow *** hot deformation activation energy of the Ni–W–Cr superalloy was 3.3.kJ/mol,which was less than that of the Hastelloy N alloy(currently used in MSRs).According to the rectified flow stress data,processing maps were *** conjunction with the corresponding deformation microstructures,the flow instability domains of the Ni–W–Cr superalloy were determined to be 1050–1160℃/0.03.1 s^(−1)and 1170–1200℃/0.001–0.09 s^(−1).In these deformation conditions,a locally inhomogeneous microstructure was caused by flow-i.e.,incomplete dynamic recrystallization and hot working parameters should avoid sliding into these *** ideal processing hot deformation domain for the Ni–W–Cr superalloy was determined to be 1170–1200℃/0.6–1 s^(−1).

Effects of water extract from Cornus controversa on the expression levels of DiSOC1-b and DiCCoAOMT1 genes related with the growth of dove tree seedlings

Although characterization of plant interactions has become a research hotspot to assess the adaptability of endangered plants,the underlying molecular basis remains *** tree(Davidia involucrata)seedlings were watered with distilled water(CK),leaf water extract(0.025 g mL^(-1))and branch water extract(0.1 g mL^(-1))from Cornus controversa,***,the morphology,biomass and gene expression levels of DiSOC1-b and DiCCoAOMT1 were *** results showed that morphological traits and biomass accumulation of *** seedlings were decreased by the addition of leaf water extracts,and increased by branch water ***,the gene expression level of DiSOC1-b was signifcantly down-regulated,while the gene expression level of DiCCoAOMT1 was signifcantly up-regulated in the stems and roots of *** upon treatment with leaf water extracts of *** contrast,the gene expression level of DiSOC1-b was signifcantly up-regulated in the leaves and stems,while the gene expression level of DiCCoAOMT1 was signifcantly down-regulated in the roots of *** upon treatment with branch water extracts of *** addition,the expression level of DiSOC1-b was positively correlated with most of morphological traits and total biomass(P<0.05),while DiCCoAOMT1 was negatively correlated with the majority of morphological traits in *** seedlings(P<0.05).Taken together,these results suggest that water extracts from the leaves and branches of the *** exhibit opposite allelopathic effects and affect the expression levels of genes related to growth(DiSOC1-b)and environmental adaptability(DiCCoAOMT1)in *** seedlings.

Exploring mechanism of hidden,steep obliquely inclined bedding landslides using a 3.EC model:A case study of the Shanyang landslide in Shaanxi Province,China

Catastrophic geological disasters frequently occur on slopes with obliquely inclined bedding structures(also referred to as obliquely inclined bedding slopes),where the apparent dip sliding is not readily *** phenomenon has become a focal point in landslide ***,there is a lack of studies on the failure modes and mechanisms of hidden,steep obliquely inclined bedding *** study investigated the Shanyang landslide in Shaanxi Province,*** field investigations,laboratory tests of geotechnical parameters,and the 3.EC software,this study developed a numerical model of the landslide to analyze the failure process of such *** findings indicate that the Shanyang landslide primarily crept along a weak interlayer under the action of *** landslide,initially following a dip angle with the support of a stable inclined rock mass,shifted direction under the influence of argillization in the weak interlayer,moving towards the apparent dip *** slide resistance effect of the karstic dissolution zone was increasingly significant during this process,with lateral friction being the primary resistance force.A reduction in the lateral friction due to karstic dissolution made the apparent dip sliding characteristics of the Shanyang landslide more ***,deformations such as bending and uplift at the slope’s foot suggest that the main slide resistance shifts from lateral friction within the karstic dissolution zone to the slope foot’s resistance force,leading to the eventual buckling failure of the *** study unveils a novel failure mode of apparent dip creep-buckling in the Shanyang landslide,highlighting the critical role of lateral friction from the karstic dissolution zone in its failure *** insights offer a valuable reference for mitigating risks and preventing disasters related to obliquely inclined bedding landslides.

Influence of Magmatic Intrusion on Abnormal Hydrocarbon Generation and Expulsion of Source Rock:A Case Study of the Dongying Sag, Bohai Bay Basin

How gabbro affects the generation and expulsion of hydrocarbons in muddy surrounding rocks is clarified by analyzing thin section, major and trace elements, total organic carbon（TOC）, pyrolysis, extracts and vitrinite reflectance data from source rocks in the Chunxi area the Dongying Sag, Bohai Bay Basin, eastern China. The results show that a magma intrusion brings copious heat to the source rocks, which promotes abnormal maturation of organic matter（OM） and rapid hydrocarbon generation. The CH4and H2produced by gabbro alteration play a role in hydrocarbon generation of source rocks. The hydrothermal process during magma intrusion provides many different minerals to the source rock, resulting in carbonate-rich surrounding mudstone. The carbonate and clay minerals produced by volcanic mineral alteration jointly catalyze the hydrocarbon generation of the source rock. The high-temperature baking of the intrusion results in hydrothermal pressurization and hydrocarbon generation pressurization, causing many fractures in the surrounding rock. The generated oil and gas are discharged through the fractures under diffusion and pressure. Mantle-derived CO2is also conducive to the expulsion of hydrocarbons because of its strong enrichment capacity for hydrocarbons.

Sn-based metal organic complexes with coordination bonds,multi-active sites,and high theoretical capacity have attracted much attention as promising anodes for lithium ion ***,the low electrical conductivity and huge volume changes restricted their electrochemical stability and practical ***,Snbased anode with superior electrochemical performance,including a high reversible capacity of 1050.1 mAh·g^(-1)at 2 A·g^(-1)and a stable capacity of 1105.5 mAh·g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1),was fabricated via a low-temperature calcination strategy from Sn metal organic *** low-temperature calcination process regulates Sn-O bond and prevents the agglomeration of SnO_(2),generating highly dispersed SnO_(2) decorated metal organic complexes and providing sufficient active sites for ion *** situ characterizations expound that the undecomposed Sn-based metal organic complexes could be transformed into SnO_(2) during lithiation and delithiation,which enhances the electrical conductivity and induces a strong pseudo-capacitive behavior,accelerating the electrochemical kinetics;the multiple solid electrolyte interface with inflexible LiF and flexible ROCO_(2)Li buffers the volume variation of the electrode,resulting in its high electrochemical *** work provides a simple strategy for preparing excellent Sn-based anodes from metal organic complexes and reveals the lithium storage mechanism of the prepared Snbased anode.

Surface engineering on MnO_(2)nanorods by La single atoms to accelerate oxygen reduction kinetics

Surface engineering,which modulates the electronic structure and adsorption/desorption properties of electrocatalysts,is one of the key strategies for improving the catalytic ***,we demonstrate a facile solid-phase reaction for surface engineering of MnO_(2)to boost the oxygen reduction *** reaction with surface hydroxy groups,La single atoms with loading amount up to 2.7 wt%are anchored onto a-MnO_(2)*** surface engineering,the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)kinetics is significantly improved with the half-wave potential from 0.70 to 0.84 V,the number of transferred electrons from 2.5 to 3.9 and the limiting current density from 4.8 to 6.0 mA·cm^(-2).In addition,the catalyst delivers superior discharge performance in both alkaline and neutral metal–air *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that atomic La modulates the surface electronic configuration of MnO_(2),reduces its d-band center and thus lowers the OOH*and O*reaction energy *** work provides a new route for rational design of highly active electrocatalyst and holds great potential for application in various catalytic reactions.

Colorimetric detection of α-glucosidase activity using Ni-CeO_(2)nanorods and its application to potential natural inhibitor screening

In this work,we established an exceptionally facile method for the preparation of Ni-CeO_(2)nanorods in a kind of deep eutectic solvents(DESs)composed of l-proline and Ce(NO_(3.)_(3.·6H_(2)***,Ni-CeO_(2)nanorods were successfully prepared by adding Ni(NO_(3.)_(3.·6H_(2)O to ***,we found that Ni-CeO_(2)nanorods prepared in DESs have more prominent oxidase-like activity than pure CeO_(2).The outstanding catalytic activity of Ni-CeO_(2)could be ascribed to its high Ce^(3.)/Ce^(4+)*** a proof-of-concept application,the Ni-CeO_(2)nanorods were successfully acted as a colorimetric platform for the sensitive determination of ascorbic acid andα-glucosidase activity,which displays excellent analytical ***,this sensing platform was applied for screening naturalα-glucosidase inhibitors,such as terpenoids from natural *** results indicated that ursolic acid and oleanolic acid had good inhibitory *** strategy not only provides a new way to construct more kinds of nanomaterials from DESs,but also offers a facile and effective tool to screen theα-glucosidase natural inhibitors as potential anti-diabetic drugs.
