Oxidation behavior of low-grade vanadiferous titanomagnetite concentrate with high titanium

In order to clarify the oxidation mechanisms and make better use of the low-grade vanadiferous titanomagnetite concentrate with high titanium(LVTC),the oxidation behavior of LVTC was *** results showed that oxidation degree was achieved within 90 min when temperature was not lower than 700°C,and the main phases of the oxidized LVTC consisted of Fe9TiO15,Fe2O3.CaSiTiO5 and a small amount of *** temperature is favorable to the formation of *** surface of LVTC gradually becomes rough,with fine particles of needle-like and granular shape appearing on the surface,which finally turn from laminar to creamy,spread out,and are interspersed with many tiny *** phase oxidation paths in LVTC were as follows:(1)Fe2.75Ti0.25O4→Fe9TiO15+Fe2O3.(2)Fe2.75Ti0.25O4→Fe2O3.FeTiO3.Fe2TiO5;(3.FeTiO3.Fe2O3.Fe2Ti3.9→*** is predominantly mesoporous whether oxidized or not,with the pores mainly distributed in the range of 2–40 nm,and the specific surface area of LVTC decreases significantly with increasing temperature.

Radio frequency quadrupoles(RFQs),which are crucial components of proton injectors,significantly affect the performance of proton accelerator *** RFQ with a high frequency of 714 MHz dedicated to compact proton injectors for medi-cal applications is designed in this *** RFQ is designed to accelerate proton beams from 50 keV to 4 MeV within a short length of 2 m and can be matched closely with the downstream drift tube linac to capture more particles through a preliminary *** develop an advanced RFQ,challenging techniques,including fabrication and tuning method,must be evaluated and verified using a *** aluminium prototype is derived from the conceptual design of the RFQ and then redesigned to confirm the radio frequency performance,fabrication procedure,and feasibility of the tuning ***,a new tuning algorithm based on the response matrix and least-squares method is developed,which yields favorable results based on the prototype,i.e.,the errors of the dipole and quadrupole components reduced to a low level after several tuning *** from the conceptual design and techniques obtained from the prototype,the formal mechanical design of the 2-m RFQ is ready for the next manufacturing step.

This paper focuses on a question raised by Holm and J?rgensen, who asked if the induced cotorsion pairs(Φ（X）, Φ（X）⊥) and(⊥Ψ（Y）, Ψ（Y）) in Rep（Q, A）—the category of all A-valued representations of a quiver Q—are complete whenever（X, Y） is a complete cotorsion pair in an abelian category A satisfying some mild conditions. We give an affirmative answer if the quiver Q is rooted. As an application, we show under certain mild conditions that if a subcategory L, which is not necessarily closed under direct summands, of A is special precovering（resp., preenveloping）, then Φ（L）(resp.,Ψ（L）) is special precovering（resp., preenveloping） in Rep（Q, A）.

Improving flangeability of multiphase steel by increasing microstructural homogeneity

Multiphase microstructure significantly increases the strength,usually at the expense of flangeability because of lacking microstructure *** further improve the strength-flangeability of multiphase steel,the microstructural homogeneity was advanced by adjusting the hard martensite/austenite(M/A)*** strength-flangeability was measured via uniaxial tensile tests and hole expansion *** microstructures were characterized using a scanning electron microscope equipped with an electron backscatter diffraction detector and a transmission electron *** tests were supplementally used to quantitatively reveal the microstructural homogeneity of the *** show that the adjusted multiphase steel achieves an excellent ultimate tensile strength(~800 MPa)and flangeability(~13.%hole expansion ratio).A promising homogeneous multiphase microstructure was obtained by controlling undercooled austenite transformed at about 600℃.This microstructure consists of soft polygonal ferrite,blocky bainitic ferrite,and hard M/A *** volume fraction of M/A islands is around 5%,and the average size is less than l *** nanoindentation analysis indicated that the participation of M/A islands impressively influenced the microstructural *** strain partition and better mechanical compatibility were present in the adjusted multiphase steel since the plasticity initiation started late,which resulted in a positive ***,avoiding M/A islands distributed in the chain along the rolling direction on the matrix hindered the possibility of voids coalescing into cracks and stabilized the flanging performance.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs) are the most promising alternatives to lithium-ion batteries, and thus have drawn intensive research attention. Porous carbon materials from different precursors have been widely used as anode materials owing to their compatible storage effectiveness of both larger radii sodium and potassium ions. However, the differential bonding behaviors of Na and K ions with porous carbon-based anode are the significant one worth investigating, which could provide a clean picture of alkali ions storage mechanism. Therefore, in this work, we prepare a porous carbon network derived from sawdust(SDC) wastes, to further analyze the differences on sodium and potassium ions storage behaviors in terms of bond-forming process. It is found that, as-prepared SDC anodes could deliver stable sodium and potassium storage capacities, however, there are notable distinctions in terms of electrochemical behaviors and diffusion processes. By virtue of ex-situ XRD and Raman spectroscopy, the phase transition reaction of potassium ions could be well-observed, and the results shows that the multiple intercalated compounds was formed in SDC network during ions insertion, further resulting in slower diffusion kinetics and larger resistance compared to non-bonded process of sodium ions storage. This study provides more insights into the differences between sodium and potassium ions storage, as well as the energy storage mechanism of porous carbon as anodes for secondary batteries.

Food allergy is a growing health issue worldwide and the demand for sensitive,robust and high-throughput analytical methods is *** recent years,mass spectrometry-based methods have been established for multiple food allergen *** the present study,a novel method was developed for the simultaneous detection of almond,cashew,peanut,and walnut allergens in bakery foods using liquid chromatography–mass *** unique to these four ingredients were extracted,followed by trypsin digestion,quadrupole time-of-flight(Q-TOF)mass spectrometry and bioinformatics *** raw data were processed by de-novo sequencing module plus PEAKS DB(database search)module of the PEAKS software to screen peptides specific to each nut *** thermal stability and uniqueness of these candidate peptides were further verified using triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(QQQ-MS)in multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)*** nut species was represented by four peptides,all of which were validated for label-free quantification(LFQ).Calibration curves were constructed with good linearity and correlation coefficient(r 2)greater than *** limits of detection(LODs)were determined to range from 0.11 to 0.3. mg/kg,and were compared with the reference doses proposed by Voluntary Incidental Trace Allergen Labelling(VITAL).The recoveries of the developed method in incurred bakery food matrices ranged from 72.5%to 92.1%with relative standard deviations(RSD)of<5.2%.The detection of undeclared allergens in commercial bakery food samples confirmed the presence of these *** conclusion,this method provides insight into the qualitative and quantitative detection of trace levels of nut allergens in bakery foods.

Exposure to heat stress causes diminished work performance and leads to economic *** the last two decades,China has experienced both rapid economic development and environmental warming;however,the spatiotemporal variations of association between environmental heat and labor loss have been rarely investigated behind this double ***,we evaluated the variation in China's heat-induced labor productivity loss and related economic cost from 2001 to 2019 and investigated the effect of economic development and regional *** found that decline in labor productivity because of heat stress increased significantly(p3..0%relative economic benefits in 2019 compared to 9.7%in 2001).Our findings could provide a deep insight into heat burden on occupational health and heat adaptation strategies regionally under climate change,especially in developing areas with higher temperature and humidity environment.
