Investigation of gravity influence on EOR and CO_(2) geological storage based on pore-scale simulation

Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing CO_(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and CO_(2)geological *** on the Navier-Stokes equation,component mass conservation equation,and fluid property-composition relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale CO_(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this *** model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,component diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and CO_(2) *** nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil recovery and CO_(2) *** CO_(2) injection angles and oil-CO_(2) density differences can increase the oil recovery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase CO_(2) storage by 3..9% and 4.7%,*** diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil components from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/CO_(2) concentration difference within the porous *** diffusion can increase oil recovery and CO_(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,*** addition,combined with the component diffusion,a low CO_(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/CO_(2) component,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil recovery and 15.7% CO_(2) storage,*** study provides theoretical support for improving the geological CO_(2) storage and EOR processes.

Verification of quantum networks using the GHZ paradox

The Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger(GHZ) paradox shows that it is possible to create a multipartite state involving three or more particles in which the measurement outcomes of the particles are correlated in a way that cannot be explained by classical physics. We extend it to witness quantum networks. We first extend the GHZ paradox to simultaneously verify the GHZ state and Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen states on triangle networks. We then extend the GHZ paradox to witness the entanglement of chain networks consisting of multiple GHZ states. All the present results are robust against the noise.

A multiscale adaptive framework based on convolutional neural network: Application to fluid catalytic cracking product yield prediction

Since chemical processes are highly non-linear and multiscale, it is vital to deeply mine the multiscale coupling relationships embedded in the massive process data for the prediction and anomaly tracing of crucial process parameters and production indicators. While the integrated method of adaptive signal decomposition combined with time series models could effectively predict process variables, it does have limitations in capturing the high-frequency detail of the operation state when applied to complex chemical processes. In light of this, a novel Multiscale Multi-radius Multi-step Convolutional Neural Network(Msrt Net) is proposed for mining spatiotemporal multiscale information. First, the industrial data from the Fluid Catalytic Cracking(FCC) process decomposition using Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise(CEEMDAN) extract the multi-energy scale information of the feature subset. Then, convolution kernels with varying stride and padding structures are established to decouple the long-period operation process information encapsulated within the multi-energy scale data. Finally, a reconciliation network is trained to reconstruct the multiscale prediction results and obtain the final output. Msrt Net is initially assessed for its capability to untangle the spatiotemporal multiscale relationships among variables in the Tennessee Eastman Process(TEP). Subsequently, the performance of Msrt Net is evaluated in predicting product yield for a 2.80 × 10～6 t/a FCC unit, taking diesel and gasoline yield as examples. In conclusion, Msrt Net can decouple and effectively extract spatiotemporal multiscale information from chemical process data and achieve a approximately reduction of 3.% in prediction error compared to other time-series models. Furthermore, its robustness and transferability underscore its promising potential for broader applications.

High-Precision DOA Estimation Method Based on Synthetic Aperture Technique

The existing direction-of-arrival(DOA)estimation methods only utilize the current received signals,which are susceptible to *** this paper,a method for DOA estimation based on a motion platform is proposed to achieve high-precision DOA estimation by utilizing past and present *** concept of synthetic aperture is introduced to construct a linear DOA estima-tion model.A DOA fine-tuning method based on the linear model is proposed to eliminate the lin-ear DOA variation,achieving a non-coherent accumulation of DOA ***,the baseband modulation and the phase modulation caused by the range history are compensated to achieve the coherent accumulation of all the DOA *** results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the DOA estimated accuracy at low signal-to-noise ratios(SNR).

Effects of environment and genotype-by-environment interaction on phenotype of Rorippa elata(Brassicaceae),an endemic alpine plant in the Hengduan mountains

Global climate change poses a severe threat to mountain *** plasticity and local adaptation are two common strategies for alpine plant to cope with such *** may facilitate organismal adaptation to contrasting environments,depending on the influences of the environment or genotype or their interacted *** this study,we use an endemic alpine plant(Rorippa elata)in the Hengduan mountains(HDM)to unravel its phenotypic basis of adaptation strategy and evaluate the relative contributions of environment and genotype to its *** transplanted 3. genotypes of *** into two common gardens across low and high elevations(2800 vs.3.00 m)during *** fitness-related traits were measured,including flowering probability and glucosinolates(GS)*** estimated the environmental or genotypic contributions to the phenotype and identified the main environmental *** results revealed that both environment and genotype-by-environment interactions contributed to the phenotypes of *** heterogeneity was identified as a key factor that explained 24%of the total phenotypic *** particular,genotypes of the northern HDM showed significantly higher plasticity in flowering probability than those of the southern ***,within the southern HDM,GS content indicated local adaptation to herbivory stresses for *** genotypes along *** conclusion,our results suggest that *** may have adapted to the alpine environment through species-level plasticity or regional-level local *** processes were shaped by either complex topography or interactions between genotype and mountain *** study provides empirical evidence on the adaptation of alpine plants.

Viscoacoustic generalized screen propagator in constant-Q model

When seismic waves propagate through the geological formation, there is a significant loss of energy and a decrease in imaging resolution, because of the viscoacoustic properties of subsurface medium. This profoundly impacts seismic wavefield propagation, imaging and interpretation. To accurately image the true structure of subsurface medium, the consensus among geophysicists is to no longer treat subsurface medium as ideal homogeneous medium, but rather to incorporate the viscoacoustic properties of subsurface medium. Based on the generalized screen propagator using conventional acoustic wave equation(acoustic GSP), our developed method introduces viscoacoustic compensation strategy, and derives a one-way wave generalized screen propagator based on time-fractional viscoacoustic wave equation(viscoacoustic GSP). In numerical experiments, we conducted tests on two-dimensional multi-layer model and the Marmousi model. When comparing with the acoustic GSP using the acoustic data, we found that the imaging results of the viscoacoustic GSP using the viscoacoustic data showed a significant attenuation compensation effect, and achieved imaging results for both algorithms were essentially consistent. However, the imaging results of acoustic GSP using viscoacoustic data showed significant attenuation effects, especially for deep subsurface imaging. This indicates that we have proposed an effective method to compensate the attenuated seismic wavefield. Our application on a set of real seismic data demonstrated that the imaging performance of our proposed method in local areas surpassed that of the conventional acoustic GSP. This suggests that our proposed method holds practical value and can more accurately image real subsurface structures while enhancing imaging resolution compared with the conventional acoustic GSP. Long-Chain Alkenones in the South Yellow Sea Sediments and Their Indicative Significance for Haptophytes Species

Long-chain alkenones(LCAs)have been widely used as important biomarkers in palaeoceanographic ***,the commonly used LCAs proxies are mainly based on C_(3.) alkenones,and it is still lack of the studies about the distribution and in-dications of LCAs with different chain lengths other than C_(3.) ***,the composition and distribution of LCAs were ana-lyzed in surface sediments from the southern Yellow Sea(SYS)and a sedimentary core(A02-C)from the central Yellow Sea(YS)mud *** results showed that C_(3.),C_(3.) and C_(3.) alkenones were the major LCAs in surface sediments of the SYS,and the relative contents of C_(3.:2)Et,C_(3.:2)Me,C_(3.:3.Me,C_(3.:2)Me,C_(3.:3.Et,C_(3.:3.Me,C_(3.:2)Et and C_(3.:3.Et were 18.3.-59.8%,22.6%-41.2%,7.4%-23.0%,6.6%-15.4%,3.8%-13.3.,3.6%-8.7%,2.8%-6.0% and 0.7%-3.0%,*** the relationships of U_(3.Me)^(K)-U_(3.Et)^(K) and U_(3.)^(K')-U_(3.Et)^(K) indicate that LCAs are mainly derived from Emiliania huxleyi(***).High ratios of total C_(3.) alkenones to total C_(3.) alkenones(K_(3.)/K_(3.))(1-1.2)were found in the central SYS,corresponding to the relatively high abundance of ***;while low ratios of K_(3.)/K_(3.)(0.7-0.9)were observed at nearshore area of the SYS where Gephyrocapsa oceanica(***)has rela-tively high *** spatial distribution of K_(3.)/K_(3.) ratio is also consistent with that of coccolithophores nannofossil in the *** addition,K_(3.)/K_(3.) ratio in core A02-C varied from 0.7 to 1.1 with a gradual decreasing trend during the past 5.5 *** suggests that the relative abundance of *** decreased gradually,caused by the changes in the Yellow Sea Warm Current(YSWC)and the East Asian Winter Monsoon(EAWM)during this period.

Acoustic Velocity-Based Inversion of the Physical Properties of Sea Ice in the Central Arctic Region

Studying the Arctic sea ice contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the climate system in polar regions and offers valuable insights into the interplay between polar climate change and the global climate and *** of the key research aspects is the investigation of the temperature,salinity,and density parameters of sea ice to obtain essential *** the 11th Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition,acoustic velocity was measured on an ice core at a short-term ice station,however,temperature,salinity,and density were not *** the present work,we utilized a genetic algorithm to invert these obtained acoustic velocity data to sea ice temperature,salinity,and density parameters on the basis of the relationship between acoustic velocity and the physical properties of Arctic summer sea *** validated the effectiveness of this inversion procedure by comparing its findings with those of other *** results indicate that within the normalized depth range of 0.43.0.94,the ranges for temperature,salinity,and density are -0.48--0.29℃,1.63.3.3.,and 793.1-904.1 kg m^(-3.,respectively.
