Recently,many efforts have been dedicated to construct artificial catalysts with enzyme-like ***,it is still a big challenge to endow artificial catalysts with specific substrate *** this study,we developed a facile strategy to construct a MIL-53(Fe)-based nanocatalyst with designable selectivity in the degradation of oxytetracycline(OTC).Through the Fe–O–P conjunction,oxytetracycline aptamer(OA)can be easily anchored on MIL-53(Fe)to provide the specific site for OTC *** verified that the obtained MIL-53(Fe)-Apt nanocatalyst displayed enhanced catalytic ability in the degradation of OTC,whereas obvious suppression toward other substrate *** performance therefore brings about an anticipated selectivity toward ***,we highlighted that the configuration of aptamers on MIL-53(Fe)can be modulated through varying conjunction ***–function analysis revealed that aptamer configuration affects the local concentration of substrate around catalytic site,which thus decides the catalytic performance toward *** work presented a facile and promising strategy for developing artificial catalysts with designable selectivity.

Stainless steels are used in a wide range of complex environments due to their excellent corrosion *** stainless steels can offer an excellent combination of strength,toughness and corrosion resistance due to the coexistence of different *** microstructure and mechanical properties of a novel cast multiphase stainless steel,composed of martensite,ferrite,and austenite,were investigated following appropriate heat treatment processes:solution treatment at 1,050℃ for 0.5 h followed by water quenching to room temperature,and aging treatment at 500℃ for 4 h followed by water quenching to room *** show reversed austenite is formed by diffusion of Ni element during aging process,and the enrichment of Ni atoms directly determines the mechanical stability of *** austenite with a lower Ni content undergoes a martensitic transformation during plastic *** tensile strength of the specimen exceeds 1,100 MPa and the elongation exceeds 2.%after solid solution,and further increases to 1,2.7 MPa and 2.%after aging *** enhancement is due to the TRIP effect of austenite and the precipitation of the nanoscale G-phase pinning dislocations in ferrite and martensite.

Calcium fluoride(CaF_(2.)is an ideal adsorbent for the dehydration of gaseous hydrogen fluoride(HF)containing water *** this work,a novel CaF_(2.absorbent,spherical CaF_(2.nanoaggregates(NAs)with a closely packed structure,was proposed and efficiently fabricated by spray drying *** the building blocks of CaF_(2.NAs,the CaF_(2.nanoparticles(NPs)were prepared by the addition of excess calcium ions(Ca^(2.))or fluorine ions(F−)in the *** results indicated that the CaF_(2.NPs synthesized by excess Ca^(2.)and the corresponding NAs exhibited much better water vapor adsorption properties than their counterparts by excess F−,owing to higher zeta *** importantly,whether excess Ca^(2.)or F^(−),CaF_(2.NAs had further enhanced water vapor adsorption capacity compared to primary CaF_(2.NPs,possibly owing to their unique nano-micro secondary structures and higher surface *** work has great potential in the development of high-performance absorbents for separating moisture from corrosive gas HF.

Modern scleractinian corals are classified into robust,complex,and basal clades through comparative molecular ***,only few morphological or biological criteria can systematically determine the evolutionary trajectories of these major scleractinian coral ***,we obtained the structural information of 2. scleractinian coral species representing robust and complex clades:High-resolution micro-computed tomography was used to reconstruct the polyp-canal systems in their colonies and to visualize the dynamic polyp growth *** found that the emergence of mesh-like canals may distinguish representatives of complex and robust *** differences in polyp-canal connections suggest distinct evolutionary trajectories among coral species:The formation of the canal network promoted the development of more complex coral structures,and coral polyps within this network formed calices of very similar volume,following precise axial growth *** influence of individual polyps on the coral colony becomes less significant as coral structures become more complex,and coral species with more complicated polyp-canal systems occupied niches more *** work supplements current evolutionary studies on reef-building corals,providing insight for further studies on coral growth patterns.

A versatile sensing platform employing inorganic MoS_(2. nanoflowers and organic poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)has been investigated to develop the resistive and capacitive force-sensitive *** microstructure of the sensing layer heightens the sensitivity and response time of the dual-mode pressure sensors by augmenting electron pathways and inner stress in response to mechanical ***,the capacitive and resistive sensors exhibit sensitivities of 0.37 and 0.12.kPa^(-1),respectively,while demonstrating a remarkable response time of approximately 100 ***,it is noteworthy that the PEDOT:PSS layer exhibits excellent adhesion to polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)substrates,which contributes to the development of highly robust force-sensitive sensors capable of enduring more than 10000loading/unloading *** combination of MoS_(2./PEDOT:PSS layers in these dual-mode sensors has shown promising results in detecting human joint movements and subtle physiological ***,the sensors have achieved a remarkable precision rate of 98%in identifying target *** outcomes underscore the significant potential of these sensors for integration into applications such as electronic skin and human-machine interaction.

The potential for reducing greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions and energy consumption in wastewater treatment can be realized through intelligent control,with machine learning(ML)and multimodality emerging as a promising ***,we introduce an ML technique based on multimodal strategies,focusing specifically on intelligent aeration control in wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).The generalization of the multimodal strategy is demonstrated on eight ML *** results demonstrate that this multimodal strategy significantly enhances model indicators for ML in environmental science and the efficiency of aeration control,exhibiting exceptional performance and *** random forest with visual models achieves the highest accuracy in forecasting aeration quantity in multimodal models,with a mean absolute percentage error of 4.4%and a coefficient of determination of *** testing in a full-scale plant reveals that the multimodal model can reduce operation costs by 19.8%compared to traditional fuzzy control *** potential application of these strategies in critical water science domains is *** foster accessibility and promote widespread adoption,the multimodal ML models are freely available on GitHub,thereby eliminating technical barriers and encouraging the application of artificial intelligence in urban wastewater treatment.

This study proposes a pose estimation-convolutional neural network-bidirectional gated recurrent unit(PSECNN-BiGRU)fusion model for human posture recognition to address low accuracy issues in abnormal posture recognition due to the loss of some feature information and the deterioration of comprehensive performance in model detection in complex home ***,the deep convolutional network is integrated with the Mediapipe framework to extract high-precision,multi-dimensional information from the key points of the human skeleton,thereby obtaining a human posture feature ***,a double-layer BiGRU algorithm is utilized to extract multi-layer,bidirectional temporal features from the human posture feature set,and a CNN network with an exponential linear unit(ELU)activation function is adopted to perform deep convolution of the feature map to extract the spatial feature of the human ***,a squeeze and excitation networks(SENet)module is introduced to adaptively learn the importance weights of each channel,enhancing the network’s focus on important ***,comparative experiments are performed on available datasets,including the public human activity recognition using smartphone dataset(UCIHAR),the public human activity recognition 70 plus dataset(HAR70PLUS),and the independently developed home abnormal behavior recognition dataset(HABRD)created by the authors’*** results show that the average accuracy of the proposed PSE-CNN-BiGRU fusion model for human posture recognition is 99.56%,89.42.,and 98.90%,respectively,which are 5.2.%,5.83%,and 3.19%higher than the average accuracy of the five models proposed in the comparative literature,including CNN,GRU,and *** F1-score for abnormal posture recognition reaches 98.84%(heartache),97.18%(fall),99.6%(bellyache),and 98.2.%(climbing)on the self-builtHABRDdataset,thus verifying the effectiveness,generalization,and robustness of the proposed model in enhancing human posture rec

To solve the problem that the existing situation awareness research focuses on multi-sensor data fusion,but the expert knowledge is not fully utilized,a heterogeneous informa-tion fusion recognition method based on belief rule structure is *** defining the continuous probabilistic hesitation fuzzy linguistic term sets(CPHFLTS)and establishing CPHFLTS distance measure,the belief rule base of the relationship between feature space and category space is constructed through information integration,and the evidence reasoning of the input samples is carried *** experimental results show that the proposed method can make full use of sensor data and expert knowledge for *** with the other methods,the proposed method has a higher correct recognition rate under different noise levels.

Surface functionalization of Cu-based catalysts has demonstrated promising potential for enhancing the electrochemical CO_(2.reduction reaction(CO_(2.RR)toward multi-carbon(C2.)products,primarily by suppressing the parasitic hydrogen evolution reaction and facilitating a localized CO_(2./CO concentration at the *** upon this approach,we developed surface-functionalized catalysts with exceptional activity and selectivity for electrocatalytic CO_(2.RR to C_(2.)in a neutral *** CuO nanoparticles coated with hexaethynylbenzene organic molecules(HEB-CuO NPs),a remarkable C_(2.)Faradaic efficiency of nearly 90%was achieved at an unprecedented current density of 300 mA cm^(-2.,and a high FE(>80%)was maintained at a wide range of current densities(100-600 mA cm^(-2.)in neutral environments using a flow ***,in a membrane electrode assembly(MEA)electrolyzer,86.14%FEC2.was achieved at a partial current density of 387.6 mA cm^(-2.while maintaining continuous operation for over 50 h at a current density of 2.0 mA cm^(-2..In-situ spectroscopy studies and molecular dynamics simulations reveal that reducing the coverage of coordinated K⋅H2. water increased the probability of intermediate reactants(CO)interacting with the surface,thereby promoting efficient C-C coupling and enhancing the yield of C_(2.)*** advancement offers significant potential for optimizing local micro-environments for sustainable and highly efficient C_(2.)production.

Natural minerals,such as kaolinite,halloysite,montmorillonite,attapulgite,bentonite,sepiolite,forsterite,and wollastonite,have considerable potential for use in CO_(2. capture and mineralization due to their abundant reserves,low cost,excellent mechanical prop-erties,and chemical *** the past decades,various methods,such as those involving heat,acid,alkali,organic amine,amino sil-ane,and ionic liquid,have been employed to enhance the CO_(2. capture performance of natural minerals to attain high specific surface area,a large number of pore structures,and rich active *** research on CO_(2. capture by natural minerals will focus on the full utiliza-tion of the properties of natural minerals,adoption of suitable modification methods,and preparation of composite materials with high specific surface area and rich active *** addition,we provide a summary of the principle and technical route of direct and indirect mineralization of CO_(2. by natural *** process uses minerals with high calcium and magnesium contents,such as forsterite(Mg_(2.SiO_(4)),serpentine[Mg_(3)Si_(2.O(OH)_(4)],and wollastonite(CaSiO_(3)).The research status of indirect mineralization of CO_(2. using hydro-chloric acid,acetic acid,molten salt,and ammonium salt as media is also introduced in *** recovery of additives and high-value-added products during the mineralization process to increase economic benefits is another focus of future research on CO_(2. mineralization by natural minerals.
