Effect of tillage state of paddy soils with heavy metal pollution on the nosZ gene of N_(2.O reductase

Paddy soils are an important source of atmospheric nitrous oxide(N_(2.O).However,numerous studies have focused on N_(2.O production during the soil tillage period,neglecting the N_(2.O production during the dry fallow *** this study,we conducted an incubation experiment using the acetylene inhibition technique to investigate N_(2.O emission and reduction rates of paddy soil profiles(0-1 m)from Guangdong Province and Jinlin Province in China,with different heavy-metal pollution *** abundance and community structures of denitrifying bacteria were determined via quantitative-PCR and Illumina MiSeq sequencing of nosZ,nirK,and nirS *** results showed that the potential N_(2.O emission rate,N_(2.O production rate,and denitrification rate have decreased with increasing soil vertical depth and heavy-metal *** importantly,we found that the functional gene type of N_(2.O reductase switched with the tillage state of paddy soils,which cladeⅡnos Z genes were the dominant gene during the tillage period,while cladeⅠnos Z genes were the dominant gene during the dry fallow *** heavy-metal pollution has less effect on the niche differentiation of the nos Z *** N_(2.O emission rate was significantly regulated by the genus Bradyhizobium,which contains both N_(2.O reductase and nitrite reductase *** findings suggests that the nos Z gene of N_(2.O reductase can significantly impact the N_(2.O emission from paddy soils.

The rapid warming of the Arctic,accompanied by glacier and sea ice melt,has significant consequences for the Earth’s climate,ecosystems,and *** carbon(BC)deposition on snow and ice can trigger a significant reduction in snow albedo and accelerate melting of snow and ice in the *** reviewing the published literatures over the past decades,this work provides an overview of the progress in both the measurement and modeling of BC deposition and its impact on Arctic climate *** summary,the maximum value of BC deposition appears in the western Russian Arctic(2. ng·g^(–1)),and the minimum value appears in Greenland(3 ng·g^(–1)).BC records in the Arctic ice core already peaked in 192.s and 1970s,and shows a regional difference between Greenland and Canadian *** different temporal variations of Arctic BC ice core records in different regions are closely related to the large variability of BC emissions and transportation processes across the Arctic *** simulations usually underestimate the concentration of BC in snow and ice by 2.3 times,and cannot accurately reflect the seasonal and regional changes in BC *** deposition is the main removal mechanism of BC in the Arctic,and observations show different seasonal variations in BC wet deposition in Ny-Ålesund and *** discrepancy may result from varying contributions of anthropogenic and biomass burning(BB)emissions,given the strong influence by BC from BB emissions at *** BC deposition significantly influences regional climate change in the Arctic,increasing fire activities in the Arctic have made BB source of Arctic BC more *** average,BC in Arctic snow and ice causes an increase of+0.17 W·m^(–2.in radiative forcing and 8 Gt·a^(–1)in runoff in *** stressed in the latest Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme report,reliable source information and long-term and high-resolution observations on Arctic BC deposition will be crucial for a more comp

Financial incentives play a key role in promoting renewable energy investments that can help China achieve the‘dual carbon’*** national emissions trading scheme(ETS)and the renewable energy portfolio standard(RPS)are two existing market-based policy instruments that can generate stable expected returns for low-carbon *** paper studies the interactive distribution effects of these two market-based *** use the micro-level thermal power plant data to investigate the abatement effects of the national ETS,in which the details show that the existing rate-based ETS will result in higher negative impacts on power units,whose installed capacities are smaller than 400 *** interactive distribution effects between the two markets will occur when the permit allocation standards of the national ETS become stricter than the existing *** in Eastern China and Northern China will face high pressure on costs in both ETS and RPS *** the levels of the permit allocation standards are set as 70%of the existing ones and the carbon price is assumed to be 2.0 yuan/ton in 2.30,the annual market size of the national ETS will be nearly 100 billion yuan,and the annual market size is predicted to be 2.0 billion *** the existing rate-based national ETS,the China Certified Emission Reduction(CCER)mechanism will have an offsetting effect,which should be taken into serious consideration during the policy-making processes in the future.

In this study,we investigate the pseudospectrum and spectrum(in)stability of quantum corrected Schwarzschild black ***,we use the hyperboloidal framework to cast the quasinormal mode(QNM)problem into an eigenvalue problem associated with a non-selfadjoint operator,and then the spectrum and pseudospectrum are ***,the invariant subspace method is exploited to improve the computational efficiency for *** investigation into the spectrum(in)stability entails two main *** the one hand,we calculate the spectra of the quantum corrected black hole,then by the means of the migration ratio,the impact of the quantum correction effect on the Schwarzschild black hole has been *** results indicate that the so-called“migration ratio instability”will occur for small black holes with small angular momentum number *** the eikonal limit,the migration ratios remain the same for each *** the other hand,we study the spectrum(in)stability of the quantum corrected black hole by directly adding some particular perturbations into the effective potential,where perturbations are located at the event horizon and null infinity,*** are two interesting observations under the same perturbation energy ***,perturbations at infinity are more capable of generating spectrum instability than those at the event ***,we find that the peak distribution can lead to the instability of QNM spectrum more efficiently than the average distribution.

Exhaled ammonia(NH_(3))can be used as a crucial biomarker of kidney and liver ***,the high humidity in the detection conditions remains a challenge for accurate detection by gas ***,a copper-based metal-organic framework(CH_(3)-Cu-BTC)with methyl(CH_(3)^(-))functionalization of trimesic acid was synthesized for NH_(3) colorimetric *** CH_(3)-Cu-BTC exhibited a strong response for 5 ppm NH_(3) with high selectivity under high relative humidity(75%RH).Density functional theory(DFT)simulations indicated that the NH_(3) molecules interacted more strongly with CH_(3)-Cu-BTC than H_(2.O molecules did,and the corresponding color switching was attributed to the lone-pair electron in NH_(3) changing the coordination environment of Cu^(2.)ions,leading to an obviously visible color switching response from ruby green to *** on the tailor-made pore chemistry,the precise detection of trace amounts of NH_(3) in exhaled air was realized through functionalized MOF *** strategy used in this study not only offers a new pathway for the rapid detection of low concentration NH_(3) under humid conditions,but also shows a method for early respiration diagnosis of kidney and liver diseases.

Earthquake investigations have shown that near-fault pulse-like(NF-P)ground motions have unique characteristics compared to near-fault non-pulse-like(NF-NP)and far-field(FF)ground *** is necessary to study the seismic response of pile-supported wharf(PSW)structures under NF-P ground *** this study,a three-dimensional finite element numerical model is created to simulate a *** imparting three types of ground motion,the engineering demand parameters(EDPs)of PSW under NF-P ground motions were analyzed and compared,in which EDPs are the maximum displacement and bending moment of the *** intensity measures(IMs)were selected to characterize the properties of ground *** correlation between IMs and EDPs was *** results show that the piles present larger displacement and bending moment under NF-P ground motions compared to NF-NP and FF ground *** of the IMs have a high correlation with EDPs under NF-P ground motions,and these IMs are more applicable to FF ground *** correlation coefficients between EDPs and IMs under three types of ground motion were obtained,which will provide a valuable reference for the seismic design of PSWs.
