The Wenchuan Earthquake that occurred in May of 2.08 caused damages to large areas of Sichuan,Gansu,and Shaanxi provinces in *** from local governments and related management agencies show that the giant panda nature reserves in the earthquake-hit areas were heavily *** estimates in this paper of the impacts of the earthquake on the giant panda in the earthquake-hit areas were made based on the interpretation of remote sensing images and information collected by field survey.A rapid assessment method was designed to estimate the damages of the earthquake on giant panda *** using visual interpretation methods,we decoded the remote sensing images of the disaster area in the 49 giant panda nature *** results showed that the Wenchuan Earthquake and the succeeding secondary geological disasters caused great damages to the giant panda nature reserves and disturbed the normal life of the giant pandas there (e.g.,landscape fragmentation increased significantly).Undoubtedly,the life of the giant pandas there was ***,although the earthquake caused certain impacts on the giant pandas,it did not really threat their *** so,we still strongly advocate for protection of the giant pandas,and have prioritized a couple of measures to be taken to restore the giant panda nature reserves in the earthquake-hit areas.

Background and purpose Previous studies,mostly focusing on the European population,have reported polygenic risk scores(PRSs)might achieve risk stratification of *** aimed to examine the association strengths of PRSs with risks of stroke and its subtypes in the Chinese *** Participants with genome-wide genotypic data in china Kadoorie Biobank were split into a potential training set(n=2.191)and a population-based testing set(n=72.50).Four previously developed PRSs were included,and new PRSs for stroke and its subtypes were *** PRSs showing the strongest association with risks of stroke or its subtypes in the training set were further evaluated in the testing *** proportional hazards regression models were used to estimate the association strengths of different PRSs with risks of stroke and its subtypes(ischaemic stroke(IS),intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)and subarachnoid haemorrhage(SAH)).Results In the testing set,during 872.19 person-years of follow-up,8514 incident stroke events were *** PRSs of any stroke(AS)and IS were both positively associated with risks of AS,IS and ICH(p2.,1.10(95%CI 1.07 to 1.12.and 1.13(95%CI 1.07 to 1.2.)for AS,IS and ICH,*** corresponding HR_(SD) of PRS_(IS) was 1.08(95%CI 1.06 to 1.11),1.08(95%CI 1.06 to 1.11)and 1.09(95%CI 1.03 to 1.15).PRS_(ICH) was positively associated with the risk of ICH(HR_(SD)=1.07,95%CI 1.01 to 1.14).PRSS_(AH) was not associated with risks of stroke and its *** addition of current PRSs offered little to no improvement in stroke risk prediction and risk *** In this Chinese population,the association strengths of current PRSs with risks of stroke and its subtypes were moderate,suggesting a limited value for improving risk prediction over traditional risk factors in the context of current genome-wide association study under-representing the East Asia

Recently,runoff in many river basins in china has been ***,the role that climate change and human activities are playing in this decrease is currently of *** this study,we evaluated an assessment method that was designed to quantitatively separate the effects of climate change and human activities on runoff in river ***,we calibrated the SIMHYD rainfall runoff model using naturally recorded hydro-meteorologic data pertaining to the Sanchuanhe River basin and then determined the effects of climate change and human activities on runoff by comparing the estimated natural runoff that occurred during the period in which humans disturbed the basin to the runoff that occurred during the period prior to disturbance by *** results of this study revealed that the SIMHYD rainfall runoff model performs well for estimating monthly *** addition,we found that absolute runoff reductions have increased in response to human activities and climate change,with average reductions of 70.1% and 2..9% in total runoff being caused by human activities and climate change,*** together,the results of this study indicate that human activities are the primary cause of runoff reduction in the Sanchuanhe River basin.

In this paper, for time-to-event data, we propose a new statistical framework for casual inference in evaluating clinical utility of predictive biomarkers and in selecting an optimal treatment for a particular patient. This new casual framework is based on a new concept, called Biomarker Adjusted Treatment Effect （BATE） curve. The BATE curve can be used for assessing clinical utility of a predictive biomarker, for designing a subsequent confirmation trial, and for guiding clinical practice. We then propose semi-p^rametric methods for estimating the BATE curves of biomarkers and establish asymptotic results of the proposed estimators for the BATE curves. We also conduct extensive simulation studies to evaluate finite-sample properties of the proposed estimation methods. Finally, we illustrate the application of the proposed method in a real-world data set.

In order to evaluate the reliability of deinterleaving results in Electronic Support Measure (ESM),this paper presents a separability test method referred to as Sorted Direction of Arrival Difference Test (SDOADT) and introduces the concept of Confidence Level of Direction of Arrival (CLDOA).Theoretical analyses and experimental results show that,SDOADT has the ability to examine the separability of each pulse cluster obtained from ESM deinterleaver,and its resolution of test increases rapidly with the augment of the pulse *** addition,the index of CLDOA gives a good assessment to confidence degree of the considered pulse cluster in the DOA *** the information about deinterleaving reliability can be achieved via the proposed methods.

BACKGROUND: Convalescence is an important stage of stroke treatment. A lot of patients have somatic and mental disorders at various degrees. The primary standard can only reflect partial conditions of somatic disorder; in addition, multiple dimensions of patients at the phase of stroke convalescence are further observed by using a lot of standards, such as signs and symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, daily activity and psychological status. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the outcome assessments of the cases of stroke convalescence measured with different criteria consisting of various dimensions by a cross-sectional investigation of the condition of stroke convalescent patients. DESIGN: Scale evaluation. SETTING: Departments of Clinical Epidemiology Exploratory Development and Neurology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; National center for Training of Design, Measurement and Evaluation in Clinical Research,Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 194 stroke convalescent patients treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2., 2.00 to February 2., 2.01 were taken as subjects of the study. There were 12. males and 68 females aged from 40 to 89 years, and the illness course ranged from 14 to 181 days. All patients met diagnosis-treatment criteria of stroke (the second version)[DTCS(V2.0)] and various kinds of diagnostic points of cerebrovascular diseases; moreover, all patients provided confirmed consents. 经外周静脉置入中心静脉导管(PICC)作为静脉治疗通路应用广泛,而导管堵塞是PICC使用过程中最常见的并发症之一,发生导管堵塞可能导致拔管或重新置管,延长患者住院时间,增加医疗费用,影响治疗的实施与患者的预后。导管堵塞的预防及处理意义重大,日常维护与护理操作应完整规范、执行到位,需建立基于证据的标准流程以满足临床工作需要。本共识遵循WHO指南制订手册提供的方法与原则,形成包括PICC通畅性评估、堵塞程度及类型评估、风险因素预防、堵塞处理在内的系统性规范化临床实践流程,以期减少PICC相关并发症,保障PICC使用寿命及患者治疗安全。

The high alpine and subalpine vegetation of Dinaric Alps is very diverse. These are conditional on genuine patterns of development of the geological substrate, climate, soil and terrain on the mountain world, which are interconnected and spatially, and ecologically away. Also, today high mountain vegetation is extremely important indicator of global changes. In this area are many refugia of glacial biodiversity. Very illustrative example for understanding the specific forms of ecological diversity is high alpine vegetation in the area of the Balkan Peninsula. Vegetation of alpine belt of Western Balkans and Bosnia and Herzegovina is differed by extremely high level of biological and ecological diversity. Climatogenous vegetation are alpine and sub-alpine pastures above of timberline, then extra zonal forms of vegetation - glaciers, rock creeps, breaches of rocks, alpine springs, marsh, and tall greenery. This vegetation is dominant determinant of alpine ecosystems that creates their unique physiognomy and also enables prime production of biomass. It is different with extraordinary floral richness, especially in a number of endemic species and glacier relicts that are included in a large number of phytocoenoses, many of which are of endemic. In syntaxonomic sense, alpine vegetation is differentiated into lo classes： Elyno- Seslerietea, Juncetea trifidi, Salicetea herbaceae,Thalspietea rotundifolii, Asplenietea trichomanis, and Scheuchzerio-Caricetea fuscae, Montio- Cardaminetea, Loiseleurio-Vaccinietea, Mulgedio- Aconitetea and Molinio-Arrhenatheretea. These classes are differentiated into ao vegetation orders, 38 alliances and 19o associations and sub-associations. In total, that is 6o % of communities of total vegetation diversity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 12.5% of classes of highest syntaxonomic categories in vegetation diversity of Europe.
