Providing personalized converged services based on flexible network reconfiguration

Recent developments show a progressing convergence of networks, services, and applications, which results in the necessity for new approaches to provide a ubiquitous experience on converged networks for specialized high data-rate services. A fundamental diversifying attribute for the future physical network convergence paradigm is pressing. In this paper, we make researches on converged resource reconfiguration model of substrate physical network based on hardware virtualization and provide a service oriented network architecture as a network convergence primitive. Based on the idea of hardware virtualization which is performed by platform deformation and component processing with reconfiguration (here, they are realized as reconfigurable routers (RR)), the substrate converged network, which inter-connects various access networks by reconfigurable routers, could be mapped into multiplex service oriented logical networks, supports dynamic reconfiguration due to diversified quality of services under heterogeneous environment, and therefore provides more flexible and high- speed multiple services. In addition, to demonstrate the generality of our model, we provide a prototype of reconfigurable router. The design, implementation and task scheduling as well as both hardware and software reconfiguration process of reconfigurable router are discussed in detail. Our evaluation shows that reconfigurable router is transparent for upper service-providing networks and results in little performance impact on the service delivery when both hardware and software reconfiguration are used.

Single station location method in NLOS environment: The circle fitting algorithm

This paper proposes an algorithm, called circle fitting algorithm, for locating targets by using maneuverable single station in non-line-of-sight environment. This algorithm estimates the position and scattering distance of all scatters based on the circular motion character. The pseudo-target trajectory is calculated from observation results from different observation positions. With scatters regarded as virtual observation stations, the problem of single station location can be converted into a problem of multi-station location. Finally, the traditional multi-station location algorithm is used to estimate target position. Simulation results prove that the proposed method is effective.

An immune-theory-based model for monitoring inter-domain routing system

The inter-domain routing system faces many serious security threats because the border gateway protocol(BGP) lacks effective security ***,there is no solution that satisfies the requirements of a real *** address this problem,we propose a new model based on immune theory to monitor the inter-domain routing *** introduce the dynamic evolution models for the "self" and detection cells,and construct washout and update mechanisms for the memory detection ***,borrowing an idea from immune network theory,we present a new coordinative method to identify anomalous nodes in the inter-domain routing *** this way,the more nodes working with their own information that join the coordinative network,the greater is the ability of the system to identify anomalous nodes through evaluation between *** it is not necessary to modify the BGP,the ITMM is easy to deploy and inexpensive to *** experimental results confirm the method’s ability to detect abnormal routes and identify anomalous nodes in the inter-domain routing system.

A target position can be estimated using position information from scattered signals in the nonline-of-sight propagation environment in a single observer location *** is always an error in the final estimated result of the position obtained using scatter signals because measurement noise is *** reduce the total error of the system,we propose a method of converting the problem of optimizing location into a one of solving the extremes of the *** the problem of how to solve the extremes of the constraints is converted into an unconstrained problem by using the constrained total least squares(CTLS) ***,the Newton iteration method is used to obtain the optimized *** results also verify the capability of this method.

Achieving fair service with a hybrid scheduling scheme for CICQ switches

Providing performance guarantees for arriving traffic flows has become an important measure for today’s routing and switching systems. However, none of current scheduling algorithms built on CICQ (combined input and cross-point buffered) switches can provide flow level performance guarantees. Aiming at meeting this requirement, the feasibility of implementing flow level scheduling is discussed thoroughly. Then, based on the discussion, it comes up with a hybrid and stratified fair scheduling (HSFS) scheme, which is hierarchical and hybrid, for CICQ switches. With HSFS, each input port and output port can schedule variable length packets independently with a complexity of O(1). Theoretical analysis show that HSFS can provide delay bound, service rate and fair performance guarantees without speedup. Finally, we implement HSFS in SPES (switch performance evaluation system) to verify the analytical results.

Multi-path based routing and switching can achieve network-wide load balancing and reduce the port conflicts of switching *** by this novel idea,in this paper,through analyzing the feasibility of implementing multi-next-hops in core switching networks comprehensively,we advance a switching scheme called MHRS(multi-next-hop re-routing switch)and a forwarding table management scheme called HMFT(hierarchical multi-stage forwarding table)to support multi-next-hop dynamical *** implements dynamical re-routing in the switches according its congestion status to achieve real-time load balancing,while HMFT can provide traffic with different forwarding paths based on their QoS *** analysis and simulation results show that switches equipped with HMFT and MHRS can provide good delay and throughput ***,they can reduce port conflicts significantly.

The propagation of cracks in concrete structures causes energy dissipation and release, and also causes energy redistribution in the structures. Entropy can characterize the energy redistribution. To investigate the relation between the propagation of cracks and the entropy in concrete structures, cracked concrete structures are treated as dissipative structures. Structural information entropy is defined for concrete structures. A compact tension test is conducted. Meanwhile, numerical simulations are also carried out. Both the test and numerical simulation results show that the structural information entropy in the structures can characterize the propagation of cracks in concrete structures.

相依网络鲁棒性研究多集中于满足无反馈条件的一对一依赖,但现实网络节点往往依赖于多节点构成的依赖群,即使群内部分节点失效也不会导致依赖节点失效.针对此现象提出了一种相依网络的条件依赖群逾渗模型,该模型允许依赖群内节点失效比例不超过容忍度γ时,依赖节点仍可正常工作.通过理论分析给出了基于生成函数方法的模型巨分量方程,仿真结果表明方程理论解与相依网络模拟逾渗值相吻合,增大γ值和依赖群规模可提高相依网络鲁棒性.本文模型有助于更好地理解现实网络逾渗现象,对如何增强相依网络鲁棒性有一定指导作用.

Theoretical study of aging effects on LaNi_(5) tritium storage

The electronic structure and energy of La2.i10H12.and La2.i10H11He (He is at tetrahedral, octahedral or twelve-face polyhedral interstitials) double cells have been calculated using the density functional theory. Their equilibrium structure, energy bands, electronic density of states (DOS) and X-ray diffraction are presented and discussed. The results indicate the helium-3 produced due to the decay of tritium is most possibly sited at twelve-face polyhedral and octahedral interstices and changes the thermodynamic properties of LaNi5 tritide system. The changes due to aging such as the reduction in the isotherm plateau pressure, increase of the isotherm plateau slope, and appearance of deeply trapped hydrogen are caused not only by the lattice expansion, but also by modification of the electronic structure due to the presence of He.
