The increasing incidence of cardiovascular disease(CVD)is a significant global health concern,affecting millions of individuals each *** diagnosis of acute CVD poses a formidable challenge,as misdiagnosis can significantly decrease patient survival *** biomarkers have played a vital role in the diagnosis and prognosis of CVDs,but they can be influenced by various factors,such as age,sex,and renal *** ST2.sST2.is a novel biomarker that is closely associated with different *** low reference change value makes it suitable for continuous measurement,unaffected by age,kidney function,and other confounding factors,facilitating risk stratification of ***,the combination of sST2.with other biomarkers can enhance diagnostic accuracy and prognostic *** review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of sST2.focusing on its diagnostic and prognostic value as a myocardial marker for different types of CVDs and discussing the current limitations of sST2.

Noble metal surfaces with intrinsic chirality serve as an ideal candidate for investigating enantioselective chemistry due to their superior chemical durability and high catalytic ***,significant advance has been made in synthesizing metal nanocrystals with intrinsic ***,the majority reports are limited to ***,through a heteroepitaxial growth strategy,the synthesis of metal nanocrystals with intrinsic chirality to palladium was extended for the first time and their application in enantioselective recognition was *** heteroepitaxial growth strategy allows for transferring the chirality of homochiral Au nanocrystals to Au@Pd core–shell *** employing the chiral Au@Pd nanocrystals as enantiomeric recognizing elements,a series of electrochemical sensors for chiral discrimination were *** optimal conditions,the peak potential between D-dihydroxyphenylalanine(D-DOPA)and L-dihydroxyphenylalanine(L-DOPA)is about 80 m V,and the peak current of D-DOPA is 2.times as much as that of L-DOPA,which enables the determination of the enantiomeric excess(EE,%)of ***,this report not only introduces a heteroepitaxial growth strategy to synthesize metal nanocrystals with intrinsic chirality,but also demonstrates the superior capability of integrating intrinsic chirality and catalytic properties into metal nanocrystals for chiral recognition.

Objective:To evaluate the anticancer effect of ellagic acid on gastric cancer ***:MTT assay was used to evaluate the effect of ellagic acid at different concentrations(0.5-100μg/mL)on gastric cancer AGS ***-qPCR and Western blot analyses were applied to assess apoptosis(BCL-2.CASP-3,and BAX)and autophagy(LC3,ATG5,and BECN1)in AGS cells treated with ellagic *** expression of invasion-related markers including TP53,CDKN2.,and PTEN was *** addition,cell cycle markers including cyclin A,B,D,and E were measured by *** stress markers were evaluated using ***:Ellagic acid inhibited the proliferation of AGS cells in a concentration-and time-dependent *** expression of BCL-2.was significantly decreased(P0.05).Moreover,the oxidative stress markers including SOD,TAC,and MDA were increased by ellagic acid(Pliferation,induce apoptosis,and modulate oxidative stress in AGS ***,further in vivo and molecular studies are needed to verify its anticancer efficacy.

The support vector machine(SVM)is a classical machine learning *** the hinge loss and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)penalty are usually used in traditional ***,the hinge loss is not differentiable,and the LASSO penalty does not have the Oracle *** this paper,the huberized loss is combined with non-convex penalties to obtain a model that has the advantages of both the computational simplicity and the Oracle property,contributing to higher accuracy than traditional *** is experimentally demonstrated that the two non-convex huberized-SVM methods,smoothly clipped absolute deviation huberized-SVM(SCAD-HSVM)and minimax concave penalty huberized-SVM(MCP-HSVM),outperform the traditional SVM method in terms of the prediction accuracy and classifier *** are also superior in terms of variable selection,especially when there is a high linear correlation between the *** they are applied to the prediction of listed companies,the variables that can affect and predict financial distress are accurately filtered *** all the indicators,the indicators per share have the greatest influence while those of solvency have the weakest *** companies can assess the financial situation with the indicators screened by our algorithm and make an early warning of their possible financial distress in advance with higher precision.

The construction and functionalization of lanthanide-organic cages have been a research hotspot in coordination *** from the unique luminescent and magnetic properties of lanthanide ions,the potential applications of lanthanide-organic cages in biological imaging applications are promising,but only a few corresponding explorations have been *** rein,we introduced a series of lanthanide tetrahedral cages,(Eu_(n)Gd_(4-n)L_(4))(sol)_8(n=0,1,2.3 and 4,where L=(4,4',4"-tris(4,4,4-trifluoro-1,3-dioxobutyl)-triphenylamine,and sol=dimethyl sulfoxide and methanol),with potential applications in biological *** the good luminescent and magnetic properties of Eu^(3+) and Gd^(3+) ions,Eu_(4)L_(4) and Gd_(4)L_(4) complexes show a high luminescence quantum yield of 2.% in DMSO and large longitudinal relaxivity(r_(1)) of 11.4(mmol/L)^(-1)/s at 0.5 T in water containing 1 vol% DMSO,*** heterobimetallic Eu-Gd complexes achieve a dual imaging mode by combining luminescent and magnetic centers in one *** the Gd:Eu ratio increases from 1:3 to 3:1,the r_(1) values increases from 5.33 to 8.64(mmoI/L)^(-1)/s,higher than that of commercial contrast agent Gd-DOTA(3.2.(mmol/L)^(-1)/s).Owing to their low toxicity and good cell imaging ability toward ECA 109 cells,the selfassembled Eu-Gd heterobimetallic tetrahedral cages could be potential candidates for the multimodal imaging contrast agent.

For rough machining of a complex narrow cavity,e.g.,a complex blisk channel on an aero-engine,the typically used cutting tools are the slender cylindrical cutter and conical ***,as neither of the two is particularly suited for rough machining,wherein the main purpose is to remove a large volume as quickly as possible,the machining efficiency is low,especially when the part materials are of hard-to-cut types(e.g.,Titanium-alloy)for which it often takes days to rough machine a ***,disc machining provides a new and efficient roughing solution,since a disc cutter with a large radius enables a much larger cutting speed and thus a larger material removal ***,due to the large radius of the disc cutter,its potential collision with narrow and twisted channels becomes a serious *** this paper,we propose a novel twophase approach for efficiently machining a complex narrow cavity workpiece using a disc-shaped cutter,i.e.,3+2.axis disc-slotting of the channel by multiple layers(rough machining)+five-axis disc-milling of the freeform channel side surfaces(semi-finish machining).Both simulation and physical cutting experiments are conducted to assess the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed *** experimental results show that,with respect to a same cusp-height threshold on the channel side surfaces,the total machining time of the tested part by the proposed method is about only 36%of that by the conventional approach of plunging-milling(for roughing)plus milling by a slender cylindrical cutter(for semi-finishing).
