As an important part of nonstructural components,the seismic response of indoor water supply pipes deserves much *** paper presents shaking table test research on water supply pipes installed in a full-scale reinforced concrete(RC)frame *** material pipes and different methods for penetrating the reinforced concrete floors are combined to evaluate the difference in seismic *** response spectra and pipe acceleration amplification factors based on test data are discussed and compared with code provisions.A seismic fragility study of displacement demand is conducted based on numerical *** acceleration response and displacement response of different combinations are *** results show that the combination of different pipe materials and different passing-through methods can cause obvious differences in the seismic response of indoor riser pipes.

The welding arc,as a carrier for the conversion of electrical energy to thermal energy,has a direct impact on the quality of welding by its properties and *** the tungsten inert gas(TIG)welding process under the condition of Ar-He alternating gas supply,the arc is alternately converted between Ar arc and He arc with an alternating gas supply cycle,which has obvious arc change *** FLUENT software was used to numerically simulate the characteristics of the TIG arc under the condition of alternating gas supply,and the arc temperature field,arc pressure,electric potential and current density distribution under the condition of alternating gas supply were *** with the real-time data of arc pressure measured by the water-cooled copper plate with holes,it is proved that the TIG arc has obvious dynamic characteristics under the condition of Ar-He alternating gas *** unique dynamic TIG arc acts on the 5A06 aluminum alloy weld,causing the molten pool to stir,resulting in uniform microstructure and grain refinement at the weld,and thereby improving the mechanical properties of the welded joint.

Zinc-based flow battery is an energy storage technology with good application prospects because of its advantages of abundant raw materials,low cost,and environmental *** chemical stability of zinc electrodes exposed to electrolyte is a very important issue for zinc-based *** paper reports on details of chemical stability of the zinc metal exposed to a series of solutions,as well as the relationship between the morphological evolution of zinc electrodes and their properties in an alkaline *** corrosion of zinc electrodes by the electrolyte will change their surface ***,we observed that chemical corrosion is not the main contributor to the evolution of zinc electrode surface morphology,but the main contributor is the Zn/Zn^(2+)electrode *** morphological evolution of zinc electrodes was controlled by using ionic liquids,1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate(EMIA),and 1-propylsulfonic-3-methylimidazolium tosylate(PSMIT),and the electrode performance was recorded during the morphological evolution *** was observed that the reversible change of zinc electrode morphology was accompanied by better electrode performance.

Crude oil scheduling optimization is an effective method to enhance the economic benefits of oil *** uncertainties,including uncertain demands of crude distillation units(CDUs),might make the production plans made by the traditional deterministic optimization models infeasible.A data-driven Wasserstein distributionally robust chance-constrained(WDRCC)optimization approach is proposed in this paper to deal with demand uncertainty in crude oil ***,a new deterministic crude oil scheduling optimization model is developed as the basis of this *** Wasserstein distance is then used to build ambiguity sets from historical data to describe the possible realizations of probability distributions of uncertain demands.A cross-validation method is advanced to choose suitable radii for these ambiguity *** deterministic model is reformulated as a WDRCC optimization model for crude oil scheduling to guarantee the demand constraints hold with a desired high probability even in the worst situation in ambiguity *** proposed WDRCC model is transferred into an equivalent conditional value-at-risk representation and further derived as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming *** case studies from a real-world refinery are conducted to show the effectiveness of the proposed ***-of-sample tests demonstrate that the solution of the WDRCC model is more robust than those of the deterministic model and the chance-constrained model.

To study the impact of the trailing-edge wear on the vibrational behavior of wind-turbine blades,unworn blades and trailing-edge worn blades have been assessed through relevant modal *** to these experiments,the natural frequencies of trailing-edge worn blades-1,-2,and-3 increase the most in the second to fourth order,theﬁfth order increases in the middle,and theﬁrst order increases the *** damping ratio data indi-cate that,in general,theﬁrstﬁve-order damping ratios of trailing-edge worn blades-1 and trailing-edge worn blades-2 are reduced,and theﬁrstﬁve-order damping ratios of trailing-edge worn blades-3 are slightly *** mode shape diagram shows that the trailing-edge worn blades-1 and-2 have a large swing in the tip and the blade,whereas the second-and third-order vibration shapes of the trailing edge-worn blade-3 tend to be ***,all these results reveal that the blade’s mass and the wear area are the main fac-tors affecting the vibration characteristics of wind turbine blades.

This study examines the impact of employee stock ownership plans(ESOPs)on stock-price informativeness in Chinese stock *** findings indicate that firms implementing ESOPs experienced an average 11.89 percent increase in stock-price *** plans improved stock-price informativeness through increased external attention and *** event study shows that ESOPs gave rise to an announcement effect,driven by anticipated performance improvements and the novelty associated with ESOPs.A mechanism analysis demonstrates that the implementation of ESOPs attracted market attention,and the increased market supervision resulting from this mitigated the moral hazards of management associated with *** with more positive signals exerted a greater ***,ESOPs that prioritized management incentives gained more recognition in the *** the incentive effects of ESOPs were weaker than those of equity incentive plans and the ESOPs lost novelty over time,the annual announcement effect diminished *** findings underscore the necessity of strengthening ESOP incentives for continued optimization of priceefficiency.

A high-quality snow depth product is very import for cryospheric science and its related *** long time-series snow depth products covering the Northern Hemisphere can be divided into two categories:remote sensing snow depth products and reana-lysis snow depth ***,existing gridded snow depth products have some *** sensing-derived snow depth products are temporally and spatially discontinuous and tend to underestimate snow depth,while reanalysis snow depth products have coarse spatial resolutions and great *** overcome these problems,in our previous work we proposed a novel data fusion framework based on Random Forest Regression of snow products from Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer for the Earth Observing System(AMSR-E),Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer-2(AMSR2),Global Snow Monitoring for Climate Research(GlobSnow),the Northern Hemisphere Snow Depth(NHSD),ERA-Interim,and Modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Applications,ver-sion 2(MERRA-2),incorporating geolocation(latitude and longitude),and topographic data(elevation),which were used as input indepen-dent *** than 30,000 ground observation sites were used as the dependent variable to train and validate the model in different time *** fusion framework resulted in a long time series of continuous daily snow depth product over the Northern Hemisphere with a spatial resolution of 0.25°.Here,we compared the fused snow depth and the original gridded snow depth products with 13,272 observation sites,showing an improved precision of our *** evaluation indices of the fused(best original)dataset yielded a coeffi-cient of determination R2 of 0.81(0.23),Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE)of 7.69(15.86)cm,and Mean Absolute Error(MAE)of 2.74(6.14)*** of the bias(88.31%)between the fused snow depth and in situ observations was in the range of−5 cm to 5 *** accuracy assessment of independent snow observation sites-Sodank
