On the Shallowing of Antarctic Low-Level Temperature Inversions Projected by CESM-LE under RCP8.5

Temperature inversions are frequently observed in the boundary layer and lower troposphere of polar *** variations of the low-level temperature inversions in these regions,especially the Antarctic,are still poorly *** to the scarcity of observations in the Antarctic,reanalysis data and numerical simulations are often used in the study of Antarctic climate *** on ERA-Interim,ERA5,JRA-55,and NCEP-NCAR reanalysis products,this study examines temporal and spatial variations of Antarctic inversion depth in austral autumn and winter during *** inversions are found to occur over the high plateau areas of the Antarctic *** on the Mann-Kendall test,ERA-Interim and ERA5 data reveal that the Antarctic inversion depth in austral autumn and winter increased during 1.92-2007,roughly maintained afterwards,and then significantly decreased since around *** decrease trend is more obvious in the last two months of ***,JRA-55 better represents the spatial distribution of inversion depth,and ERA-Interim has better interannual *** Community Earth System Model Large Ensemble(CESM-LE)30-member simulations in 1.79-2005 were first verified against JRA-55,showing reasonable consistency,and were then used to project the future changes of Antarctic low-level inversion depth over 2031.2050 under *** CESM-LE projection results reveal that the temperature inversion will shallow in the Antarctic at the end of the 21.t century,and the decrease in depth in autumn will be more pronounced than that in *** particular,the temperature inversion will weaken over the ice-free ocean,while it will remain stable over the ice sheet,showing certain spatial heterogeneity and seasonal dependence on the underlying cryospheric surface *** addition,the decrease of inversion depth is found closely linked with the reduction in sea ice,suggesting the strong effect of global warming on the thermal structure change o

The modern architectural heritage is the core carrier of city’s historical inheritance and *** value is related to the spatial and temporal evolution of the urban landscape,along with the collective memory of society and transformation in public *** contradiction between high-speed urban construction and architectural heritage preservation has proliferated,and the problems of loss of heritage culture and fading of relics are very significant,but there is a lack of research on modern architectural *** study analysed indepth the artistic archetypes and evolutionary characteristics of the architecture of Zhongshan Park in Xiamen through field research and historical data collation,adopting the theory method of architectural ***,we analysed the architectural typology of Zhongshan Park in Xiamen and the process of acculturation and translation with foreign cultures,explored the motives of its formation and the cultural meanings of the public space embodied in *** on this,we proposed a sustainable development heritage approach for the modern architectural heritage of Zhongshan Park in *** results indicate that modern architectural art has inherited classical Chinese historical and cultural traditions and ideological *** unique characteristics reflect the spirit of the times and result from the gradual development of Western ***,it embodies a strong sense of national *** findings enrich the academic research on the cultural interaction between Chinese and Western architecture,offering valuable insights for the conservation and living heritage of modern architectural heritage in other regions.

Monolithic perovskite/organic tandem solar cells(TSCs)have emerged as promising thin film solar *** is recognized that interconnect junction plays a pivotal role in tandem ***,wide bandgap Cs_(0.25)FA_(0.75)Pb(I_(0.6)Br_(0.4))_(3)perovskite top-cell and narrow bandgap PM6:Y6:PC_(61.BM ternary organic bottom-cell were integrated in this study with several kinds of thin metal interconnect layers,which provides feasibility to elaborately manipulate light transmission and carrier tunneling process in interconnect *** is confirmed that,in comparison with Au,employing an Ag interconnect layer elevates integrated transmittance of light in longer wavelength regions,mainly because of the alleviated screening effect with a lower free electron concentration,which offers sufficient light harvest for the ***,established energy barriers with moderate height afford convenient extraction and recombination for both holes and ***,the performance of TSCs is promoted ***,an innovative Ag/Au double interconnect layer is proposed accordingly,which can preserve exceptional conductivity and light transmission and further reduce barrier height,especially for hole tunneling,by optimizing the band alignment between the interconnect layer and ***,the monolithic perovskite/organic TSC with a striking efficiency of 23.26% is *** a word,this study can pave a general approach toward high-performance TSCs integration.

Objective:To determine the inhibitory effects of pachymic acid on lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)cells and elucidate its underlying ***:CCK-8,wound healing,Transwell,Western blot,tube formation,and immunofluorescence assays were carried out to measure the effects of various concentrations of pachymic acid on LUAD cell proliferation,metastasis,angiogenesis as well as ***,molecular docking technology was used to detect the potential targeted binding association between pachymic acid and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1.(PTP1.).Moreover,PTP1. was overexpressed in A549 cells to detect the specific mechanisms of pachymic ***:Pachymic acid suppressed LUAD cell viability,metastasis as well as angiogenesis while inducing cell *** also targeted PTP1. and lowered PTP1. ***,PTP1. overexpression reversed the effects of pachymic acid on metastasis,angiogenesis,and autophagy as well as the expression of Wnt3a andβ-catenin in LUAD ***:Pachymic acid inhibits metastasis and angiogenesis,and promotes autophagy in LUAD cells by modulating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway via targeting PTP1..

Sequential reactant water management by complementary multisite catalysts for surpassing platinum hydrogen evolution activity

Alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)offers a near-zero-emission approach to advance hydrogen ***,the activity limited by the multiple reaction steps involving H_(2)O molecules transfer,absorption,and activation still unqualified the thresholds of economic ***,we proposed a multisite complementary strategy that incorporates hydrophilic Mo and electrophilic V into Ni-based catalysts to divide the distinct steps on atomically dispersive sites and thus realize sequential regulation of the HER *** Isotopic labeled in situ Raman spectroscopy describes 4-coordinated hydrogen bonded H_(2)O to be free H_(2)O passing the inner Helmholtz plane in the vicinity of the catalysts under the action of hydrophilic Mo ***,potential-dependent electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)reveals that electrophilic V sites with abundant 3d empty orbitals could activate the lone-pair electrons in the free H_(2)O molecules to produce more protic hydrogen,and dimerize into H_(2) at the Ni *** the sequential management of reactive H_(2)O molecules,NiMoV oxides multisite catalysts surpass Pt/C hydrogen evolution activity(49 mV@1. mA∙cm^(-2) over 1.0 h).Profoundly,this study provides a tangible model to deepen the comprehension of the catalyst–electrolyte interface and create efficient catalysts for diverse reactions.

ExosomalmicroRNA let-7c-5p enhances cell malignant characteristics by inhibiting TAGLN in oral cancer

Effect of micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders on oxidation and corrosion behaviors of low-carbon MgO-C refractories

To solve the problem of poor high-temperature service performance caused by low carbonization of MgO-C refractories,low-carbon MgO–C refractories with excellent thermal shock,oxidation and corrosion resistances were successfully designed by using SiC whiskers as reinforcing phases and introducing micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders as *** results indicated that the addition of micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders optimized the internal structure of the material,like the columnar β-Si_(3)N_(4) with a stepped distribution and the mosaic structure formed between granular and flaky Mg_(2)SiO_(4),which synergistically strengthened and toughened the material and gave the material excellent mechanical properties and thermal shock ***,the cold modulus of rupture and cold crushing strength after thermal shock were increased by 4.1.and 20.3 MPa,***,the addition of micro-Al_(2)O_(3) powders promoted the formation of fine particles of Mg_(2)SiO_(4),MgAl_(2)O_(4) and MgO,as well as a dense protective layer of Mg_(2)SiO_(4) in the material under high-temperature ***,spinel and high-temperature solid solution were formed in the corrosion *** oxidation and corrosion resistances were greatly improved by 41.and 1.%,respectively.

Highly Conductive Ag/pCF/MVQ Composite Rubber for Efficient Electromagnetic Interference Shielding

In this study,flexible and highly conductive composite rubber at low filler content was successfully prepared through polydopamine-assisted electroless silver plating plus mechanical ***,carbon fibers(CF)were activated by polydopamine(PDA)to improve the surface activity by self-polymerization ***,because of the metal chelating ability of PDA,silver layer was firmly deposited on the surface of CF through a facile electroless silver plating ***,flexible silver-plated carbon fibers(Ag/pCF)silicone rubber composites prepared by mechanical *** using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and X-ray diffraction(XRD),the chemical composition and crystal structure of Ag/pCF were examined,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)was used to assess the surface morphology of the Ag/*** results showed that a uniform and dense silver layer was formed on the surface of the CF,and the conductivity of the Ag/pCF could reach 7885 S/*** was noteworthy that the composite rubber filled with only 45 phr Ag/pCF had a high electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(1.0 dB)due to the low density and high aspect ratio of Ag/*** composite rubber has excellent potential for application in the field of electromagnetic interference shielding.
