Yarn-based flexible strain sensors with advantages in wearability and integrability have attracted wide ***,it is still a big challenge to achieve yarn-based strain sensors with a wide linear strain range,low hysteresis,and durability synchronously that can be used for full range detection of human body ***,a new structure,double-threaded conductive yarn with rhythmic strain distribu-tion,is reported to markedly widen the linear strain range of microcrack-based stretchable strain sensors.A new method of winding and thermally adhering hot-melt filaments on the surface of the elastic fiber is used to achieve double-threaded yarn(DTY)with rhythmic strain *** proposed strategy,the integration of heterogeneous materials,is reported to significantly reduce the mechanical hysteresis of composite *** strain distribution of the DTY during stretching causes multi-level micro-cracks in different regions of the carbon nanotube(CNT)conductive layer deposited on the surface of the ***,the sensing performance of DTY-based strain sensor can be adjusted by designing the structural *** final prepared flexible strain sensor has the advantages of a wide linear strain range(1.0%),great sensitivity(GF=1..43),low hysteresis,rapid response(1.8 ms),high repeatability(>2000 cycles at 50%strain),and hydrophobicity,*** sensor can monitor human motion repeatedly and stably well,and shows great advantages in flexible wearable devices.

Two-dimensional （2D） transition metal dichalcogenide （TMDC） semiconductor materials exhibit extraordinary electrical properties,holding promise for the realization of next-generation complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor （CMOS） devices at ultimate ***,constrained by effective device doping strategies,the hole mobility and device performance of tungsten diselenide （WSe2） p-type transistors,especially monolayer chemical vapor deposition （CVD）-grown WSe2,have not met *** this paper,an effective performance enhancement of monolayer WSe2p-type transistor was achieved through a molecular doping *** monolayer WSe2directly on SiO2back-gated substrates and leveraging energy band alignment design,4-nitrobenzenediazonium tetrafluoroborate （4-NBD） molecular dopant with a concentration of 1. m M was utilized to modulate the Fermi level position of monolayer WSe2for hole *** devices demonstrated a more than 98%increase in hole mobility,reaching up to 97 cm2·V-1.s-1.hile maintaining the current on/off ratio of *** p-type WSe2transistors with 1.m channel length exhibit a high drive current surpassing 1.6μA·μm-1.exceeding previous CVD-WSe2devices with similar channel *** straightforward and effective approach to improving the electrical performance of WSe2transistors paves the way for advanced logic technologies based on transition metal dichalcogenide semiconductors.

Analyzing rock mass seepage using the discrete fracture network(DFN)flow model poses challenges when dealing with complex fracture *** paper presents a novel DFN flow model that incorporates the actual connections of large-scale ***,this model efficiently manages over 20,000 fractures without necessitating adjustments to the DFN *** geometric analyses,such as identifying connected fractures,dividing the two-dimensional domain into closed loops,triangulating arbitrary loops,and refining triangular elements,are fully *** analysis processes are comprehensively introduced,and core algorithms,along with their pseudo-codes,are outlined and explained to assist readers in their programming *** accuracy of geometric analyses is validated through topological graphs representing the connection relationships between *** practical application,the proposed model is employed to assess the water-sealing effectiveness of an underground storage cavern *** analysis results indicate that the existing design scheme can effectively prevent the stored oil from leaking in the presence of both dense and sparse ***,following extensive modification and optimization,the scale and precision of model computation suggest that the proposed model and developed codes can meet the requirements of engineering applications.

Traditional information hiding techniques achieve information hiding by modifying carrier data, which can easily leave detectable traces thatmay be detected by steganalysis tools. Especially in image transmission, both geometric and non-geometric attacks can cause subtle changes in the pixels of the image during transmission. To overcome these challenges, we propose a constructive robust image steganography technique based on style transformation. Unlike traditional steganography, our algorithm does not involve any direct modifications to the carrier data. In this study, we constructed a mapping dictionary by setting the correspondence between binary codes and image categories and then used the mapping dictionary to map secret information to secret images. Through image semantic segmentation and style transfer techniques, we combined the style of secret images with the content of public images to generate stego images. This type of stego image can resist interference during public channel transmission, ensuring the secure transmission of information. At the receiving end, we input the stego image into a trained secret image reconstruction network, which can effectively reconstruct the original secret image and further recover the secret information through a mapping dictionary to ensure the security, accuracy, and efficient decoding of the information. The experimental results show that this constructive information hiding method based on style transfer improves the security of information hiding, enhances the robustness of the algorithm to various attacks, and ensures information security. © 2024 The Authors. Adhesion molecules mediate cell-to-cell and cell-to-extracellular matrix interactions and transmit mechanical and chemical signals among *** mechanisms deregulate adhesion molecules in cancer,enabling tumor cells to proliferate without restraint,invade through tissue boundaries,escape from immune surveillance,and survive in the tumor *** studies have revealed that adhesion molecules also drive angiogenesis,reshape metabolism,and are involved in stem cell *** this review,we summarize the functions and mechanisms of adhesion molecules in cancer and the tumor microenvironment,as well as the therapeutic strategies targeting adhesion *** studies have implications for furthering our understanding of adhesion molecules in cancer and providing a paradigm for exploring novel therapeutic approaches.

Metal tellurides(MTes) are highly attractive as promising anodes for high-performance potassium-ion batteries. The capacity attenuation of most reported MTe anodes is attributed to their poor electrical conductivity and large volume variation. The evolution mechanisms, dissolution properties, and corresponding manipulation strategies of intermediates(K-polytellurides, K-pTe_(x)) are rarely mentioned. Herein,we propose a novel structural engineering strategy to confine ultrafine CoTe_(2) nanodots in hierarchical nanogrid-in-nanofiber carbon substrates(CoTe_(2)@NC@NSPCNFs) for smooth immobilization of K-pTe_(x) and highly reversible conversion of CoTe_(2) by manipulating the intense electrochemical reaction process. Various in situ/ex situ techniques and density functional theory calculations have been performed to clarify the formation, transformation, and dissolution of K-pTe_(x)(K_(5)Te_(3) and K_(2)Te), as well as verifying the robust physical barrier and the strong chemisorption of K_(5)Te_(3) and K_(2)Te on S, N co-doped dual-type carbon substrates. Additionally, the hierarchical nanogrid-in-nanofiber nanostructure increases the chemical anchoring sites for K-pTe_(x), provides sufficient volume buffer space, and constructs highly interconnected conductive microcircuits, further propelling the battery reaction to new heights(3500 cycles at 2.0 A g^(-1.). Furthermore, the full cells further demonstrate the potential for practical applications. This work provides new insights into manipulating K-pTe_(x) in the design of ultralong-cycling MTe anodes for advanced PIBs.

Solar-driven CO2conversion into hydrocarbon fuels is a sustainable approach to synchronously alleviating the energy crisis and achieving net ***,the dependence of the conversion process on solar illumination hinders its practical application due to the intermittent availability of sunlight at night and on cloudy or rainy ***,we report a model material of Pt-loaded hexagonal tungsten trioxide（Pt/h-WO3） for decoupling light and dark reaction processes,demonstrating the sustainable CO2conversion under dark conditions for the first *** such a material system,hydrogen atoms can be produced by photocatalytic water splitting under solar illumination,stored together with electrons in the h-WO3through the transition of W6+to W5+and spontaneously released to trigger catalytic CO2reduction under dark ***,we demonstrate using natural light that CH4production can persist at night and on rainy days,proving the accomplishment of all-weather CO2conversion via a sustainable way.

Bioinspired Closed-loop CPG-based Control of a Robotic Manta for Autonomous Swimming

Fish in nature exhibit a variety of swimming modes such as forward swimming,backward swimming,turning,pitching,etc.,enabling them to swim in complex scenes such as coral *** is still difficult for a robotic fish to swim autonomously in a confined area as a real ***,we develop an untethered robotic manta as an experimental platform,which consists of two flexible pectoral fins and a tail fin,with three infrared sensors installed on the front,left,and right sides of the head to sense the surrounding *** generate multiple swimming modes of the robotic manta and online switching of different modes,we design a closed-loop Central Pattern Generator(CPG)controller based on distance information and use a combination of phase difference and amplitude of the CPG model to achieve stable and rapid adjustment of yaw *** verify the autonomous swimming ability of the robotic manta in complex scenes,we design an experimental scenario with a concave *** experimental results show that the robotic manta can achieve forward swimming,backward swimming,in situ turning within the concave obstacle,and finally exit from the area safely while relying on the perception of external obstacles,which can provide insight into the autonomous exploration of complex scenes by the biomimetic robotic ***,the swimming ability of the robotic manta is verified by field tests.
