Pre-combustion mercury removal via coal electrolysis was performed and investigated on a bench-scale coal electrolytic cell(CEC)systemically,and factorial design was used to determine the effect of different operating conditions(coal particle size,operating temperature,operating cell voltage,and flow rate of slurry)on the percentage of mercury removal,percentage of ash removal,and dry heating value *** results showed that the operating cell voltage,as well as the interaction between operating cell voltage and coal particle size,are significant factors in the percentage of mercury *** is no significant factor in the percentage of ash removal and the dry heating value change,but the coal could be purified while keeping the dry heating value almost constant after electrolysis.A co-product of hydrogen could be produced during coal electrolysis with 50%lower energy consumption compared with water ***,a mechanism for mercury removal in coal was *** facts indicate that coal electrolysis is a promising method for precombustion mercury removal.

Combustion and Self-Desulfurization Characterization of Blended Low-Rank Coals for Improved Resource Utilization in Fluidized Bed Boilers

The co-combustion of low-rank coals through fluidized bed boiler(CFB)is an effective approach to enhance the level of resource *** date,there has been a lack of investigation concerning the co-combustion kinetics and self-desulfurization characteristics of coal slime,coal gangue,and raw *** this study,we adopted multiple model-free and model-fitting methods to comparatively analyze co-combustion kinetics of blended coals on the basis of thermogravimetric ***,the sulfur balance and self-desulfurization of blended coals in the co-combustion were intensively investigated using a tube furnace *** results reveal that in the presence of coal gangue in blended coals,the average activation energy(E_(a))falls within the range of 65.7 kJ/mol to 1.0.4 kJ/mol,as determined by four model-free ***,in the absence of coal gangue,only the Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO)and Friedman(FM)methods are deemed appropriate for calculating the average E_(a),yielding a value of 77.3 kJ/*** first order reaction model is confirmed to be reliable for analyzing the co-combustion kinetics of low-rank blended *** of the specific composition of the blended coal,a significant linear correlation exists between the Ea and the natural logarithm of the pre-exponential factor(lnA)within an extensive range of ***,the addition of coal gangue to the blended coal substantially enhances the self-desulfurization level,resulting in an increase from 25.7%to60.7%at 1.73 *** self-desulfurization efficiency exhibits a good linear relationship with both the mass ratio of coal gangue to coal slime and the molar ratio of calcium to *** a practical implementation,the optimal addition ratio of coal gangue is a trade-off between the self-desulfurization efficiency and the ignition capacity.

This paper deals with numerical methods for solving one-dimensional(1.)and twodimensional(2D)initial-boundary value problems(IBVPs)of space-fractional sine-Gordon equations(SGEs)with distributed *** 1. problems,we construct a kind of oneparameter finite difference(OPFD)*** is shown that,under a suitable condition,the proposed method is convergent with second order accuracy both in time and *** implementation,the preconditioned conjugate gradient(PCG)method with the Strang circulant preconditioner is carried out to improve the computational efficiency of the OPFD *** 2D problems,we develop another kind of OPFD *** such a method,two classes of accelerated schemes are suggested,one is alternative direction implicit(ADI)scheme and the other is ADI-PCG *** particular,we prove that ADI scheme can arrive at second-order accuracy in time and *** some numerical experiments,the computational effectiveness and accuracy of the methods are further ***,for the suggested methods,a numerical comparison in computational efficiency is presented.

Enantioenriched pyrrolidines and derivatives are ubiquitous substructures in compounds of importance to medicinal and biological ***,we report an efficient cobalt-catalyzed intramolecular asymmetric hydroamination reaction that produces chiral pyrrolidines with good to excellent yield and *** with previously reported radicalinvolved methodologies for enantioenriched pyrrolidines,these conditions feature two elegant versatilities,enabling(1.the use of cobalt-catalyzed hydrogen atom transfer(HAT)to generate organocobalt intermediates that bring radical reaction to organometallic chemistry,and(2)enantioselective intramolecular C-N bond forging through an S_(N)2-like displacement involving dynamic kinetic resolution(DKR).This approach provides a new alternative and efficient methodology for enantioselective radical-involved C-N bond construction that can be used in the synthesis of both chiral pyrrolidines and homologous nitrogen heterocycles.
